A really thoughtfully designed room with attention to details. Cool decor with a sense of humor, lots of little things that give a luxury feel - from nice glass ware, tea and teapot, to the thoughtful lighting. Comfortable and quiet, with a great monsoon shower. my room had an outlook onto a green area. Very central location - 10 minute walk (or less) to Angel station - city road basin, with the peace of the canal is directly across the road. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Booking.com showed one rate and when I clicked through to pay the price jumped £40 = this should not happen. Internet speeds were really poor. Strong perfume smell in the foyer - sensory hell.

Great atmosphere in the reception / breakfast area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable - very interesting décor (in a good way!). Good drinks in the bar when we got back from a show.

I got a parking ticket outside. They have a good car park but I took too long checking in and taking luggage in so I paid for street parking. However I should have parked on the other side of the street. Just something to watch out for - local council (Islington) has caught me out before.

Style of hotel. The smell was lovely throughout! My wife gets migraines often triggered by certain smells, but the scent used had zero effect on her. Restaurant was really well priced compared to usual hotel prices elswhere and lovely. Bar staff were excellent, chatty, and very friendly. Plenty of places within 5-10min walk for breakfast, dinner and drinks if not staying in hotel. Tube station 10 min walk

The suite on the 1st floor had noisey water pipes, not too bad for the most part, but the last night they were pretty loud. Fed it back to the manager, so I hope it gets sorted, I would just try and request a suite on another floor instead.

Really nice, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The standard room was a a great size for our 3 day stay, plenty of space to relax and get ready. The hood was huge and the water pressure knocks your socks off, great facilities! The quirky styling of the hotel made it feel a bit more premium than some of the other hotel chains at a similar price. Although we did get lost a few times between the dark corridors and sliding glass doors - which we found quite funny! We didn’t try the restaurant as we found a lovely little cafe across the road which did fantastic coffee and toasties! But the bar was nice for a drink. We thought the location was great, you are right between 2 tube stations and on a main bus route from Kings Cross / St Pancras. We like to walk and found that we were approx. 25mim walk from all of our favourite areas (Islington, Shoreditch, Covent Garden). Would definitely stay again.

The amenities were a bit tight - only 3 coffee pods, 3 small sachets of milk and 2 sugars, this meant that we could only have one drink in the room as a couple. I’m sure that we could have asked for more but it would have been nice to have had a couple more available as standard.

Style & funkiness of the decor was a nice change from 'chain' hotels. Everywhere you looked, there was another funky detail that we hadn't seen before. The rooms are spotless, comfy beds, great shower.

I wouldn't there was anything bad about the hotel at all, but just a couple of notes: - 2 people, 2 night stay & only provided 4 coffee pods & 3 milk - no sugar. Every evening we collected more coffee & a cup of milk from the bar. So my comment here, leave more coffee & milk in the room at check-in but please leave sugar too. - The rooms were not individually climate controlled as far as I'm aware, sometimes the room was too hot & even though we turned it down to 18, in 10 minutes it was back up to 22, maybe this was our fault using it, but I would expect if I turned it down, it wouldn't turn itself back up again witho0ut me doing so.

I really enjoyed my stay at nhow London. The hotel has a quirky, fun style which made it stand out from other places I’ve stayed. Everything was spotless and well kept, which made it feel really comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. My room was quite hot at first, but the maintenance team dealt with it straight away which I really appreciated. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Overall, a great experience, I’d happily stay again.

The room had no windows (I know it’s a modern design choice, but it’s not for everyone). Angel station was about a 10-minute walk away, which was fine but worth knowing and going back is up hill so uber about £11.

The room is great, it has all the amenities you need and more. Coffee machine, milk, tea, all kinds of glasses, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, bodylotion and even lip balm in the shower. Iron, hairdryer. Love the art details, cozy room. Gym is small but fine, I like there is a fridge with canned water & apples. Comfortable bed.

Due to errors on the website I paid much more than the initial offering. An email chain with reservations didn't solve it. And the room wasn't cleaned by 3.45pm while I left the room 7.15 am and I did hang the "tidy my room" sign in the mornin. Also their staff needs to look in their system better, they bothered me by phone the day before checking out, that I should have checked out, simply annoying. I had dinner, not recommended.

The hotel is beyond praise: 1. The friendly staff at the reception desk provided assistance, advice, consultations, and resolution of any inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner. 2. The hotel itself is new, featuring a remarkably creative design! We experienced aesthetic pleasure from our room and our overall stay at the hotel. The lobby, restaurant, and gym are all very thoughtfully designed and enjoyable. There is a powerful hairdryer, a coffee machine, a kettle, a refrigerator, a modern television, glasses, a shaker, and a teapot, along with all the essentials for a comfortable stay: slippers, a bathrobe, and excellent thick towels! 3. Breakfast is a separate delight! Choosing a room with breakfast was the best decision. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If the management is reading this review, I kindly request that you appreciate your breakfast staff! They are incredibly good, kind, and cheerful individuals. Such warmth is rarely encountered! They always inquire about how your day went and how you are feeling. They deserve the title of Employees of the Year, including both the reception staff and the waiters. Furthermore, the breakfast time is quite extended, accommodating both early risers and those who prefer to sleep in. There is no need to worry about oversleeping. The breakfast offers a wide selection: fruits, fresh vegetables, cheeses, juices, pastries, eggs prepared in any style, and many variations of the English breakfast. Every Saturday, delightful souvenirs are given as gifts during breakfast. 4. In the evening, the restaurant operates à la carte. I highly recommend having dinner there. The cuisine is exceptional, particularly the English pie. 5. I would also like to highlight the excellent location. The hotel is situated between two metro stations. Additionally, there is a bus stop nearby, providing direct bus routes to Baker Street (205) and Camden (55) without any transfers or stops.

A warm, friendly welcome on arrival at the nhow London. During check-in I asked a few questions about local transport and the reception staff were extremely helpful and well-informed. Our room was nicely presented, beautifully clean and everything worked as it should - great water pressure from the shower, excellent A/C, a cold (quiet) fridge, premium coffee machine, very comfortable bed, quality linen, etc. The attention to detail in the room, indeed the entire hotel is impressive. Breakfast is a delightful buffet offering an array of quality items / dishes (fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, breads, jams, yoghurt, cheeses, various juices and a terrific Full English Breakfast selection (fabulous sausages!). There's also cooked to order egg dishes avaliable (omelettes, etc.). A complimentary glass of chilled Prosecco offered during breakfast on our first day was a very nice touch. All the nhow staff with whom we came into contact were helpful, attentive and friendly, very professional indeed. The nhow's quirky, artistic aesthetic makes a very welcome change from other hotels humdrum interiors however it's the previously mentioned and universally applied attention to detail that really sets the nhow apart from similarly rated hotels. Highly recommended - we'll definitely be staying at the nhow again in the future.

The location was excellent, the entire hotel is exactly what I needed for my city break in London. Beautiful and modern hotel with an actual style and not boring like all the others. Staff was extremely kind, helpful and super fast when needed. Room was clean and well equipped in case you forgot to take something with you. Breakfast was delicious, nice range of sweet and savory options for everyone. One of the best hotel experiences I had in my life.

Couch in our room was a nice touch but terrible design, extremely not comfortable to lay on. Breakfast was really good but quite boring when you are staying for more than 3 days, would be nice to have some specials to mix things up. Cleaning of the room was not perfect every day, the staff clearly had good days and bad days ;)
