Bus stops right outside the hotel made travelling all around the city very easy. A nearby Underground station added to the travelling convenience. The hotel facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and in very good order. Staff were polite and helpful.

We didn't open the window blinds because our window looked onto a light well and directly (less than a metre) into another room's window. No kettle or drinks-making equipment in the room; they would have been welcome. No mention of wi-fi, in fact no instructions in the room at all except for statutory fire notice; probably designed for a paperless generation. Just a bit soulless.

It was quite close to the train and tube stations. While the rooms are really small, they are set up in super smart ways and it was fun discovering lots of different things (the folded up chair etc). You defo want to know someone intimately as there isn't a lot of privacy. Room was super quiet and great for blocking out any outside light. Really comfortable beds too. Did the job for a few days in the city.

The initial staff member on arrival wasn't particularly friendly but may have been new. The other person was a bit better helping us with our situation.

Location is good, 1 stop from King's Cross, the tube station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Quiet area but there is a street full of restaurants 5 minutes away for evening meals. This is a very quiet hotel for a city centre location especially if your room faces the courtyard. Beds are very comfy. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is very clean.

Standard rooms very small but it is London, we upgraded for the other 2 nights. I didn't like the frosted glass bathrooms, sink is in the room. In the smaller rooms you have to leave the sliding bathroom door open to see the window. There are remote controlled lights in the room but the remote switched them off and on to motion sensor activation, there is a very tiny sign telling you this but we didn't see it until we had turned the lights off several times during the night.

The room was clean and well-designed (with a sort-of spaceship theme), even if it's quite small (eg. there was space under the bed to place our hand luggage, the bed could be extended for sleep and setback to leave more room, there was space to hang our clothes). The breakfast was not exceptional, but had many different options, for all preferences. The restaurant area was quite big - and it had a bar you could relax at the end of the day We mostly took the metro in the city, and the hotel is close to a few metro lines, which made it easy to get anywhere. We travelled to London by train and we could easily walk to the hotel from King's Cross.

The room was a bit small - we were out most of the day & only used it for sleeping, so it worked out - but it's good to know if you plan on spending more time in the room. Having a big suitcase would also be quite tricky to handle (the small suitcases however fit nicely under the bed

Convenient location for the Barbican with a comfortable bed! + a small fridge which was useful for drinks! Great tv too. Friendly staff.

Really nice hotel. Room a good size (more generous then I thought, I was able to do a bit of a stretch). AC worked well. Staff very helpful.

The bed is a hospital style which can sit you up to watch tv. This seems a bit of a gimmick and makes the bed very loud - it sounds like someone scraping furniture along a tile floor. It makes this sound every time I get in our out of the bed. I was alone and sleep with earplugs so no problem for me, but I could hear this sound coming from other rooms so I suspect it could bother some. I selected the £5 voucher in exchange for not having the room made up each day, but was disappointed because I didn't read the small print carefully - I thought I could get breakfast on my last day, but the voucher can only be used after 11am and there is a maximum of 2.

Easy check-in/out via a tablet next to the reception desk. Although not really in the center of the city, the hotel is near a metro station that can get you easily to other places. (5 min walk) The room had everything we needed, as mentioned in their facilities list. The hotel public areas and our room were clean. They give a voucher of £5/10 to use in their snack bar and/or restaurant if you don't ask for room clean-up during a 2/3 night stay. The room was very quiet. We had window access to an inner, dead-end street, where there was no traffic. Comfortable bed.

Toilet cabin was extremely small. You could barely fit in there. This was the thing we disliked the most. Windows were fixed, with no possibility to open them. A bit hard to let some fresh air in via the AC system, considering the slow ventilation speed. A bit pricy. We initially booked the room for a price a month in advance, thinking it would be cheaper. But it was actually cheaper to re-book just 1 week ahead, saving us £66. For those sensitive to lights during sleep: Our room had a mirror facing the bed with a button to turn on the mirror light. When off, the button emitted a strong blue light. We had to cover it.

Unique design. Ease of stay. Very much on your own terms. Staff had very positive attitude with disability. The breakfast selection was varied and suitable for most tastes.

I wasn’t particularly happy that you had to pay for tea and coffee at all times except at breakfast. A grab rail in the bathroom could not be used as it had been fitted incorrectly. The bed wouldn’t lower as far as I needed for a wheelchair transfer, and circulation space was tight.

Fab location, minutes from local pubs and lots.of.places to.eat, easy 35 min walk to the west end or a few minutes on the 55 bus from over the road, and 63 bus to Kings Cross round the corner (or only a mile to walk).. Recommend Lebanon Grill down the road for a tasty and affordable meal too.. V comfy bed, hot.shower, lovely clean room with blackout blind and room was quiet too even though on first floor..

No kettle in the room but appreciate there's lots of.places to get a drink and can click and collect from.downstairs too. Otherwise, good towels and a hairdryer so everything we needed

I really enjoyed the overall design, bed, staff, aesthetics. Clearly a smart-hotel. We didn't have breakfast included on our reservation, but there were good options around the hotel. Location was great. Tube station in a 5 minute-walk from the hotel. Bus station in front of the hotel. St Paul's Cathedral 20 minute-walk away from the hotel. Safe area. Not touristy, which is great.

We were three friends so we booked a triple room. It wasn't really comfortable to have to climb up to the upper bed (beliche, in portuguese). Also, it wasn't really comfortable to have a translucent toilet (in portuguese: o banheiro ficava dentro de 'paredes de vidro translúcido' no meio do quarto') in the room, but, we managed it.
