Bus stops right outside the hotel made travelling all around the city very easy. A nearby Underground station added to the travelling convenience. The hotel facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and in very good order. Staff were polite and helpful.

We didn't open the window blinds because our window looked onto a light well and directly (less than a metre) into another room's window. No kettle or drinks-making equipment in the room; they would have been welcome. No mention of wi-fi, in fact no instructions in the room at all except for statutory fire notice; probably designed for a paperless generation. Just a bit soulless.

You'll have a good time if you know what to expect. The location is great, with a convenient tube station within walking distance and decent food options around. The bed is adjustable with buttons on the side so it could function as a couch. The television was great, with options to cast your media to it. Plenty of power outlets, aircon worked like a charm and the rain shower was lovely.

As others have mentioned, the bedroom and toilet/shower are separated by a sliding door made of frosted glass. Not a big issue for us, but I understand it might not be ideal depending on who you're travelling with. Our only window was in the bathroom area, and while it had blinds, it made it so we could almost never pull them up, so we barely had any daylight in our room which was a bit unfortunate.

It was quite close to the train and tube stations. While the rooms are really small, they are set up in super smart ways and it was fun discovering lots of different things (the folded up chair etc). You defo want to know someone intimately as there isn't a lot of privacy. Room was super quiet and great for blocking out any outside light. Really comfortable beds too. Did the job for a few days in the city.

The initial staff member on arrival wasn't particularly friendly but may have been new. The other person was a bit better helping us with our situation.

The staff and vibes of the hotel were great! i love their green initiative where you could omit housekeeping from your room and you get a voucher in exchange. Additionally, our TV broke one of the days but the staff were more than happy to help us The hotel is right outside Farringdon station which gives you access to Gatwich, Luton and Stansted locations as well as the tube. Best location I've stayed in London to date!

For some reason there was a box of grapes stowed away in the fridge. Not sure why that was there, but it was quite annoying having some random grapes in an already small fridge It wasn't an issue for me, but the room did look a lot smaller than expected

Location is good, 1 stop from King's Cross, the tube station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Quiet area but there is a street full of restaurants 5 minutes away for evening meals. This is a very quiet hotel for a city centre location especially if your room faces the courtyard. Beds are very comfy. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is very clean.

Standard rooms very small but it is London, we upgraded for the other 2 nights. I didn't like the frosted glass bathrooms, sink is in the room. In the smaller rooms you have to leave the sliding bathroom door open to see the window. There are remote controlled lights in the room but the remote switched them off and on to motion sensor activation, there is a very tiny sign telling you this but we didn't see it until we had turned the lights off several times during the night.

The staff were friendly and always willing to help, breakfast was really good with a great choice of food, we also had dinner once and it was great as well, the beds were really comfortable, and the location is perfect for a city trip since you can easily get everywhere whether by public transport (the tube is in a few minutes walking distance) or on foot. Everything was nice and clean.

The room we had was small and dark. There was a big window in the bathroom, but in front of it there was a brick wall so there was no daylight coming into the room. Since we spent most of the day outside it was okay for us, but I don't really understand the concept. Small rooms are okay for a certain amount of time but if they are dark too, one can feel a bit trapped after a while (you could choose all different colours of light, but there was no possibility for having bright light).

The room was clean and well-designed (with a sort-of spaceship theme), even if it's quite small (eg. there was space under the bed to place our hand luggage, the bed could be extended for sleep and setback to leave more room, there was space to hang our clothes). The breakfast was not exceptional, but had many different options, for all preferences. The restaurant area was quite big - and it had a bar you could relax at the end of the day We mostly took the metro in the city, and the hotel is close to a few metro lines, which made it easy to get anywhere. We travelled to London by train and we could easily walk to the hotel from King's Cross.

The room was a bit small - we were out most of the day & only used it for sleeping, so it worked out - but it's good to know if you plan on spending more time in the room. Having a big suitcase would also be quite tricky to handle (the small suitcases however fit nicely under the bed

Really nice hotel. Room a good size (more generous then I thought, I was able to do a bit of a stretch). AC worked well. Staff very helpful.

The bed is a hospital style which can sit you up to watch tv. This seems a bit of a gimmick and makes the bed very loud - it sounds like someone scraping furniture along a tile floor. It makes this sound every time I get in our out of the bed. I was alone and sleep with earplugs so no problem for me, but I could hear this sound coming from other rooms so I suspect it could bother some. I selected the £5 voucher in exchange for not having the room made up each day, but was disappointed because I didn't read the small print carefully - I thought I could get breakfast on my last day, but the voucher can only be used after 11am and there is a maximum of 2.

Convenient location for the Barbican with a comfortable bed! + a small fridge which was useful for drinks! Great tv too. Friendly staff.

Good location. Room with minimalist design, but everything works perfectly. Spacious bathroom (accessible, although not requested), with tiniest washbasin I've ever seen. Excellent breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Franco and his team at 'Mission Control' were very helpful and always with a smile :-) Nice touch that you can get a voucher for opting out of daily room cleaning, which can be used for reasonably priced drinks and bar snacks.

minor problem, the shower worked very well, but despite using the curtain, the bathroom floor got quite wet.
