The location of the hotel is one of its best assets. Right in the middle of the city’s attractions and the beaches, moving around the city is very easy. The Mall just 1 minute walk from the hotel is also a big plus, with a lot of options for F&B, a super market and various stores to shop. The roof top of the hotel with the bar and the pool is definitely a special treat for the guests. Yes, many might say that the pool is quite small for such a hotel and that’s true, as it gets quite crowded and it’s difficult to use it, but this is the case with most of the rooftop pools in Barcelona Hotels. The room was spacious enough for a family of 4. The view to the city from the 14th floor really made it special. The hotel staff is professional and eager to assist with any requests imposed. Special shout out to Ivan in the reception for his willingness to assist us in various requests and the staff at the rooftop bar that did their best to service the guests during rush hour. Breakfast at Novotel has a variety of options to choose from. The breakfast venue is also great as you feel like you are having breakfast in the city. As a last remark, moving around the city with taxis is quite cheap and right outside the hotel there are always available taxis, which saved us a lot of time.

The elevator system with the electronic cards had some issues but it did not matter to us, considering the overall hotel experience met and in some cases (location, room amenities,breakfast) exceeded our expectations.

It was a nice hotel in an up and coming area - which felt safe for us to walk around at night. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed as there was plenty of choice. It did get really busy, and on occasions the staff struggled to keep up with demand - despite working really hard. My daughter is coeliac (gluten allergy), and they catered for her at breakfast. There was minimal options, but enough to satisfy her - bread rolls, cookies, and muffins (if I remember correctly).

It was a shame that the pool wasn't heated, as we would have been able to use it more, even though the air temperature was cool when we visited in late October. The room was very small when four people were staying in it - family room which contained a double bed and a sofa bed for our two children.

great breakfast with good gluten free options, pool was freezing which i liked as it meant that it was quiet.

Good Location in Sant Martí (Near the Glories Shopping Mall with lots of meal options). Clean Hotel just outside a Taxi Stand and just outside a Hop-On, Hop-Off Station which is easy to tour Barcelona with.

A couple of things : We were denied turn down service or housekeeping services in the evening. We had gone to the beach and the room needed a clean. The staff is a little stand offish we got there at 12 PM after 20 hours of travel. Were given a room at 1330 as the official check in time was 2 PM. We were checking out at 8 AM but was reminded by the staff at reception several times that we were given a room a little early.

Location and amenities were great! Staff were very polite and accommodating. Very good and friendly towards young families. Good value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Pool area was extremely cold-and pool water is freezing cold. Feel like heating even one of the pools would be a good idea, especially for young children. Sofa bed that children had was extremely hard and uncomfortable (I had to sleep on this a few nights and It was very tough). Easter event for children was very basic. Paid 8 euros per child and parent only for a bit of face painting and some music and snacks. Could have been a lot more engaging. Lack luster event.

Breakfast not included and very expensive when you had it there. Also nothing provided in minibar complimentary and it was very expensive. Not even water provided. When we stayed at Novotel Paris late last year everything was included in price

The location is very good, close to the city and the beach. The staff were very polite and helpful, 10-10 for the staff. The breakfast was also good.

The room is not for a 4 star hotel. Not provide a welcome bottle of water, not have a small nespreso type machine only a boiler for hot water and nescafe. The picture at the room when you choose it is showing that is available a small sofa but has only 1 chair at the desk (the other person has to seat at the bed) When arrived to the floor was under renovation (painting) we thought that they sent us at the wrong floor at first. Wasn't nice and the smell of the paint was very strong. Also at our room the safe box & the hair dryer was not working but we reported and they fix it immediately.

This hotel has a convenient location, cozy and spacious rooms with panoramic windows, and a delicious breakfast. The staff is very friendly, especially the woman who helped us change our room to one with a better view.

However, there was one receptionist who didn't help solve issues and just wanted people to leave. When we asked to change our room to a city view (we had a wall view, but booked a city view), she falsely claimed those were presidential suites. We saw her doing the same to other guests. It was strange, but luckily, the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful! Thanks to them for their hard work!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and our kids had a great time in the pool. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel staff were polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean, but a bit small for a family of four. The location was excellent — close to the city, right next to tram and metro stations. There’s also a huge city park, a shopping mall, and kilometers of walking trails right beside the hotel. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

Roma are small for families ( 4)

The location was ideal for access to Sagrada Familia, which was our main focus. We received a good welcome and staff were readily available when any questions arose. Restaurant food good value for money and plenty of choice. Excellent pool bar on the roof Easy access to the cruise port by taxi, which was available from the taxi rank right outside the hotel

A couple of minor issues, but things we felt should have been there in a hotel if this quality. No tissues in the room, nor a toilet brush or face cloths.
