We stayed in one of the Train car suites and it was amazing! The hotel was very nice and everyone was friendly. We loved the train car rooms so much and I would highly recommended that anyone who has kids of any age spend the night in one of these rooms because it creates a cool little memory for the whole family no matter if you are just on a quick overnight adventure or staying for several days. Having a unique room is going to be a fond memory we will look back on years from now. That makes this hotel stay worth every penny. Thanks for creating such a lovely place for us to enjoy.

The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that the road it sits on is currently under major construction due to a new hotel being built across the street from it and it’s a little bit of an inconvenience to have to park in a parking garage a block away. Alternatively they do offer valley parking for those who don’t want to have the hassle of walking all the way to and from the parking garage but we opted to just park in the garage and walk because we used an uber for all of our travel while we were there.

Don’t let the outside fool you!! They are updating the hotel and it is beautiful! It’s right in the middle of Gainbridge and Lucas oil and so close to the heart of downtown. Once all the construction is done downtown it will be amazing.

Downtown Indy is a hot mess right now so it looks really bad, but it will be amazing when it’s done. My only complaints about the actual hotel is the water pressure is not good and our tub backed up while we were showering.

located in the heart of Indianapolis surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers. Right across the street from the convention center and the stadium. This hotel did not disappoint with not only very unique architecture and decor. The rooms were updated and clean. They even had the option of booking a real train converted into a hotel room. It is a beautiful place to stay glad we found it. I also felt safe as the police headquarters was right around the block.

The only thing that took away from the stay was the parking. The parking deck they suggested was a block away due to construction and it was very run down. Dirty, NO WORKING ELEVATOR and you could only park on level 3. so, we had to use the stairs (that smelt absolutely disgusting).

location is great especially if youre going for an NFL game, theres a sky bridge connected to the convention center and a walkway to the stadium. The room was a F'n TRAIN CAR right out of Harry Potter.

construction going on at hotel, was not notified beforehand. its connected a train depot, so trains come and go and feels like a 3.2 Earthquake.

Location was superb for event at the Convention Center. Given sub-zero temps during our visit, it was a wonderful surprise to learn about the enclosed walkway connecting the hotel to the Convention Center so that we didn't even have to walk outside the short distance (and the walkway was accessible from the second floor, which is where our room was located). The fact that it was a former train station is very cool, too. We loved that you could actually book a converted train car as a room option (although we did not). The room was comfortable and a good size. The people working at the front desk, bar/restaurant, and house cleaning were all very nice.

Perhaps because of the age, the acoustics were not great. You could hear a good amount of noise from the hallways, next door neighbors, and atrium. I ended up downloading a brown noise app (which helped to drown it out). Also, the restaurant is open for limited hours. When attending an event with competition times set, sometimes meals come at odd hours, including during the gap between breakfast and dinner at the hotel. There is a mini market where you can buy limited snacks, food, and drinks, and that helps, but I would have liked a full-service option.

I liked all, was a pleasant stay. The location is very good, next to Union Station. Beside it's downtown, and in walking distance to Circle Monument, Circle Mall, and the River Walk. Many restaurants nearby. The staff was really very helpful. The room was nice. The hotel is something special, very big, and interesting.

I liked all. Didn't have problems. Would stay there again when in Indianapolis.

No parking. Had to park in a separate parking garage and pay $40 upfront, then another $14 when we left town. Only a few valet parking spots. Road construction. Missed the turn had to go all the way back around.

Beautiful space even though everything is being refurbished. It’s going to look amazing when all is said and done. The history of this building is awesome and the location couldn’t have been any better.

That it won’t be under renovation next time we go to Indy so it will probably be out of our price range.

This was an awesome hotel for several reasons. It possesses so much local history, it has been constructed around much of that local history, and it (including other parts of the Union Station complex not connected with the hotel) is relevant to the present day with many amenities nearby. Don't miss taking an opportunity to get a complete tour of the Crowne Plaza property including the original Union Station--the banquet hall is a true jem for Indy! We didn't stay in a Pullman passenger car room, but I will next time. If you are a railroad fan, this location should be on your bucket list top 10!

Unique setting, very clean, staff extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet (not included) was one of the best hotel buffets I’ve had.

Construction right outside front doors. Only option for parking at the hotel is valet which is $50 per night.
