Location was amazing. Staff were super friendly from reception, to breakfast staff. Great breakfast selection. Rooms were generally clean. Bed was super comfy.

Disappointed that for a 5 star hotel they provided instant coffee and not a machine coffee in the rooms. Disappointed the Spa facilities only included the outdoor pool. The Spa facilities were an additional charge and should have been included at the price paid.

The location was nice, with an amazing seaview. We got a nice and spacious room, I think it was a superior room, it was large and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. We booked halfboard and expected buffet dinner like in most hotels, but what we experienced in this hotel was really fine dining. We had a 4 course menu, and the food was amazing. Everything we tasted was top quality and amazing taste served in a wonderful way. The staff was really nice and helpful. Overall service was great in this hotel

The only thing we didn't like were the pool and the pool area. No imagination put into when planning this. The hotel also does not have beach access, but there are some nice beaches in the area nearby if you have a car to move around.

The room was beautiful! Also, since we brought our dog, they had a water dish and little bed waiting for her. The surrounding area was Ultra Dog friendly. She had plenty of places to walk. She could even go to the cliffs and swim near by. We were so happy!

This has nothing to do with the Hotel, just an observation that made my husband and I very sad. I have NEVER seen so much littering and garbage around this area in particular, in my entire life!!! Filthy!!! People throw their garbage EVERYWHERE!!!! The Island needs to come together and create LITTER LAWS!!! Give fines! They could be rich just with fining people. Also, there are no scooper laws for Dog Poop. We still picked ours up but watch where you walk. I had deja vous of the 80s/90s when I first visited Austria. Now that we have this law, our streets and side walks are clean in Austria.

Unclear that hotel guests need to pay full price for the spa facility. It’s very nice and in high demand so I understand why but it’s still a bad surprise that could be mitigated with a bigger discount for hotel guests (perhaps during off hours)

The location and the setting of the Hotel was outstanding - Alghero is a really fabulous town and this hotel is a 10 min walk to the edge of the old town Porto Sulis - So 20 mins from the port. The view from our room was so lovely - we never tired of looking at it. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed with a large balcony. Victoria, who looked after the cleaning, did a fantastic job every day - water was placed in our fridge, and tea/coffee replaced daily. The whole hotel was spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and full of tasty choices, and the chef cooked our eggs - it was a great start to our day. We ate in the restaurant and the bar - the food was so tasty and reasonably priced for a 5* establishment. The staff were very welcoming and friendly - we highly commend all of them, especially Victoria and the chefs - thank you all for a wonderful stay in your Hotel.

The beds are very firm - this suited me but not my husband. Otherwise we loved this hotel and had an excellent week's holiday here.

Breakfast offered a good selection and staff were very attentive and professional. Room was clean and well equipped with cleaning staff offering excellent daily service. Location offered a pleasant 10 min walk to the centre of Alghero along coastline.

Hotel was clearly a 5 star hotel 15/20 years ago, built using the best materials and design at the time. However in 2023 it feels dated and hasn't progressed with the times. Areas such as the gym, hallways, tennis court etc... have been neglected and feel worn. Similarly equipment such as sun-beds and towels don't appear to be of the quality that would be expected at a 5 star resort. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but feel as though the hotel was clearly once worthy of a 5-star badge, but feels more 4-star now. That being said it was always immaculately clean and the staff were excellent.

Breakfast was badly managed, looked like enough staff but management of staff lacked. Ordered tea, got coffee pot along with tea bags, when we highlighted staff member said we ordered coffee, if that was the case why did we get tea bags and a coffee pot full of coffee? Most mornings not enough tea pots. One morning we waited 15 mins for tea, when I went up to get own tea, no tea pots available and staff reminded me it was now 10am, great that they can tell the time but not find tea pots. We did not use pool as hotel seems to encourage bikers to the hotel, they sit with drink and watch you at the pool. Not something we expected.. I think the hotel needs to decide if it wants to be a 5 star hotel or a bikers stop.

Amazing Honeymoon Experience: The hotel upgraded our room to an ocean view since they knew we were on our honeymoon, which was a wonderful surprise. Stunning Sunset Views from the Room: The sunset from our room was absolutely perfect, making it one of the best parts of our stay. We didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else to watch it. Beautiful Pool: The pool is large and perfect for swimming, especially in the afternoon when it catches the sunlight. The pool area was one of our favorite spots. Very Comfortable Room: The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a great bed and a lovely bathroom. The shower was fantastic, making it a relaxing experience overall. Quick and Polite Service: The room service was quick, and the staff were always very polite and helpful. Great Location: The hotel is close to the old town, and we could easily walk there, which was very convenient for exploring. Good Drinks at Reasonable Prices: The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and good. The restaurant prices were also similar to those in the city, offering good value.

Limited Parking: The parking lot was too small, and we had to park on the street, which was slightly inconvenient. TV with No Netflix: The only downside to the room was the TV, which didn’t have access to Netflix or other streaming services. Breakfast Could Be Improved: While the breakfast was decent compared to other hotels in Sardinia, it could be improved to better match the high standard of the hotel.
