Everything about Casa Del Pino was thought through. The rooms were beautiful, huge amounts of space and a lovely calm atmosphere the second you walk through the gates. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves at points, with so many little spots to hang out in. The location is also ideal, my friend and I were on foot but you could get to most places by train and bus. To be honest we rarely left the house as it was just so wonderful, and you could easily spend a week here, a couple of really nice restaurants, delicious ice cream and a supermarket a short walk away. The house also has a kitchen guests can use which was unexpected and such a bonus. The most incredible part of Casa Del Pino is the people who run it, Rodrigo and Ralf have thought of everything you might need during the stay and are both so welcoming. Pedro also makes an absolutely excellent coffee. Ralf's breakfasts were different everyday and totally homemade, far exceeded our expectations. I really hope to see them all again soon!

I don't even think I could fault it! I asked for an extra pillow and it was provided, pool and room towels switched out whenever you need. It's not a luxury house but you don't miss a thing. There is a wedding venue next door but the music always finished by 11/midnight ish. This really didn't bother us at all, just noting as it is not completely remote like you might find elsewhere in Tuscany, but it was absolutely perfect for us.

Where to start… location was really easy to find. Once the gates open it’s like entering an oasis of green, quiet and beautiful views of the surrounding Tuscan hillside. We got the warmest welcome from Rodrigo, who right away made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, overlooking the garden and sideview of the Tuscan hills. Breakfast was served on the lovely terrace and was just so wonderful… There’s a lovely buffet with dicferent types of bread, cheeses etc., yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit and juice but what really stands out are all the additional lovely dishes Ralph prepares each day, different and freshly made and so wonderfully presented. Exceptional! They both really are the most perfect hosts, nothing is too much. From tips for great restaurants and trips, and where best to park in Lucca, to lovely snacks when lounging by the pool. As a bad sleeper I much enjoyed the absolute peace & quiet, and slept very well. Had truly the best time, felt treasured and would not hesitate to go back if we’re in the area again.

If I really have to come with something; the bathroom was a bit small. Having said that we also realize that it is an old farmhouse and the layout cannot be changed.

The first moment we entered Casa del Pino, I knew that we came to the paradise on Earth. Huge garden, pool, breakfast and service are just amazing. Brakfast is every day fresh and home made with fresh fruit and served outside in the garden. Rodrigo and Ralf know perfectly, how to run their business. They are full of great advices about places, rastaurants... Lucca and Pisa are half an hour away and there is a good train connection to Firence. We felt like home and we were sorry not to stay longer. We liked everything and every second of our stay in Casa del Pino. I would say this must be one of the best accomodations in Tuscany for sure!!!

There is nothing not to like.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely villa nestled among the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and it was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the beauty and calmness of this place. The villa's location was just perfect. It offered stunning views everywhere you looked. It was close to charming Tuscan villages, which made it easy for us to explore the area's rich history and culture. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel at home right away. They were always ready to give us advice and help whenever we needed it, making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. We had a room with a private entrance, it was clean and very comfortable. .. and the breakfast.. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast experience, which was truly exceptional. Each morning greeted us with a delightful spread of homemade delicacies, lovingly prepared by our hosts. What made it even more special was that every day brought a new surprise, with a variety of freshly baked pastries, jams, and locally sourced fruits adorning the table. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the day ahead. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the personalized touch that our hosts brought to each breakfast.

Nothing. Our time at this villa was truly unforgettable. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with family, surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. We left feeling happy and relaxed, already looking forward to our next visit to this special retreat.

Wow! Amazing place! Beautiful rooms, the breakfast felt like it was made a professional chef. The pool and the different areas to sit and relax are the best. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and book again. It's very personal service, and Ralph and Rodrigo can't do enough for you. The service and facilities are 10/10! It's very close to amazing restaurants, 30 minutes from Lucca, and not too far from Florence. If you want somewhere home from home and super relaxing, this is the place! The photos do not do this place justice.

Ralf and Rodrigo made sure we had an amazing stay. The breakfast was simply amazing and we got a lot of help to plan our trips. The location is beautiful and the pool is pristine with a great view. Great owners and beautiful people :).

The bed was a bit hard but we got it adjusted immediately so it is not even a negative.

Loved our stay! Rodrigo, Ralf & the team were just the best, they made us feel so welcome. It was like staying with friends! The breakfast was a real joy to wake up to, and no question was too much. Lots of local knowledge for things to do, and we made great use of the pool too!

The hosts are amazing, they make you feel at home and are so incredibly lovely people. The place is really like heaven, so comfortable and beautiful. The garden with all of its flowers, the view, and amazing pool. And then the breakfast!!! Every day a new surprise with lovely food. This B&B is just a jewel, the garden is amazingly beautiful and taken care of, and Ralf and Rodrigo and their team made sure you had your favorite spot to relax in the property. the pool is very nice and so are the surroundings. overall definitely one of the best experiences me and my family had when on holiday. But a special mention goes to Ralf, Rodrigo and their team (sorry I can’t remember the names :-( ). they made our stay unforgettable. the morning breakfast were impeccable, we hardly had the same food and we were there for 10 days. everything was exquisite and tasty. they were always available to accommodate our requests and at the same time very discrete. in other words, the perfect hosts.

Beautiful location, super friendly staff, great value for money given the position. It's just 20 km away from Lucca and 40 from the seaside. Perfect!

Not the property's fault, but we were in the middle of a heatwave and outside temp was exceptionally high (around 40 °C). The rooms are on the 2nd floor in the attic and get really really hot in such cases. The ceiling fan isn't enough in these situations to cool things down a notch, and there is no AC in the rooms, as stated in the property description. Note: ask for thicker pillows if you're not comfortable with the ones you get with the room, they have spare ones!
