'A HOME AWAY FROM HOME' THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN A B&B .IT IS TRULY A MEMORABLE PLACE THAT WILL MAKE YOUR TRIP TO BRESCIA UNFORGETTABLE.TO BEGIN WITH,IT IS IN A VERY CENTRAL LOCATION MAKING IT EASY TO VISIT ALL THE SIGHTS ON FOOT.THE SHOPPING DISTRICT IS ONLY A STONE THROW'S AWAY AND THERE IS A PLETHORA OF RESTAURANTS AND CAFES AROUND.BOTH THE BUS AND TRAIN STATION ARE 10-15' ON FOOT AND WITHIN 5' YOU CAN REACH A BIG SUPERMARKET.AS FOR THE B&B ITSELF IT IS VERY SAFE ( IF YOU ARE AN INDIVIDUAL OR FEMALE TRAVELLER), SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND HAS ALL THE FACILITIES ONE MIGHT NEED IN THE ROOM.BREAKFAST INCLUDES PASTRIES AND BISCUITS MADE BY THE OWNER HERSELF WHICH ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! MOST OF ALL THOUGH, VERONICA,THE OWNER, IS THE HEART AND SOUL OF THIS PLACE.SHE IS KIND, ACCOMMODATING,FRIENDLY AND SO WARM THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORGET HER! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

The B & B is in a good location, there are several bars and restaurants in the direct vicinity. Communication with Veronica was quick and efficient. Il Cantuccio di Gioa is on the first floor and you can reach it by elevator. The bed was comfortable and the room was small but clean and tidy. There is a communal breakfast room with a refrigerator with some breakfast items. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony outside the breakfast room and watching the people on the square below.

The shower was very narrow, but there was also a bathtub with a hand shower. Breakfast was self-service, which in itself is no problem. However, we couldn't find any butter (there was a small container which was empty) and no cheese, but for those with a sweet tooth there was a nice display of cakes and pastries.

Perfect location in the heart of the old town, picturesque view from the balcony, nice dining room with the possibility to use the refrigerator or to make a cup of coffee whenever needed, versatile breakfast selection, large rooms and a very good bed.

New AC made weird noises sometimes (in the middle of the night), but it should work itself in soon, then it will stop. Good thing was it kept the room perfectly cool, while it was very hot outside, so it was ok really. Suggest taking air plugs with you, just in case.

The location was perfect, literally steps from the ‘must see’ places in Brescia, great restaurants and specialty shops. The accommodations were very clean and overlooked a charming square. It was extremely hot during our visit and the AC functioned exceptionally well. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a variety of choices. Loved the chilled water tank - ideal to fill your water bottle before heading out to explore. Definetly our place to stay when returning to the city, especially given how accommodating and helpful our host was.

The breakfast could have been a bit more diversified! The neighbors/locals seemed a bit annoyed about the presence of tourists in the building. We had to wake up quite early in the morning as one of the neighbors was starting the day watching/listening loudly to the local news. Didn't mind that much, as it was in Italian and I love the language, but still!

Great B&B close to all major points of interest in Brescia and a short 15 min walk from train station. I stayed in the Deluxe Room with Balcony, which was comfortable and had a good bathroom and very good shower (hard to find in Italy sometimes!). I was initially concerned about the road noise, being only one floor up from street level, but the balcony doors were double-glazed and it was very quiet at night. Really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was the self-serve type and was ample. The host, Veronica, was very friendly and accomodating.

Nothing. Although a bag rack may be a good future addition to consider?

Veey nice property in Brescia old town adjacent to a lovely square. Located in the historic old town, however also conveniently a short walk from Brescia train (+ coach) station with connections to Milan, Bergamo, Padova and Venice. Host exceptionally nice and helpful. Absolutely recommend.. Brescia is a hidden gem. Enjoy!!

The breakfast room was a delight. It's bright and sunny and looks out on the square opposite and the choice of food and drinks was excellent. The location was ideal. Very close to everything. The bedroom was spacious and clean with enough places to accomodate bags etc. The host was pleasant and very helpful.

The bathroom was also spacious and clean but the entry into the shower was a little on the narrow side.

The property is charming, clean and beautifully furnished. It has a spacious common area where guests can enjoy breakfast and relax during the day. The bedroom is stylish, comfortable and well equipped (with some extra natural products for hair and skin care). The B&B is located in the heart of Brescia among elegant buildings and with a lovely view on the streets. Veronica is very kind and welcoming, clear in communication, and readily available for any issue or assistance. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who is visiting Brescia!

I recently stayed in Il Cantuccio di Gioia for a day, and it was such a great experience! The place is very well located has a really cozy, welcoming vibe, almost like you’re walking into someone’s home. Also the breakfast was delicious!
