Breakfast was extraordinary! They made delicious fresh omelets for us, the cappuccino was some of the best in my life, the fruits were carefully selected to be the ripest, the bread was still warm. It was a wonderful start of the day! I would come back just to enjoy the breakfast again!! Our hosts were super attentive and kind. Everything went smoothly for the check in. Our room was very tidy and clean, the mattress very good quality, the pillows were comfortable and everything was super-quiet. The location was great! In the heart of the city. We came by car, and it is in a pedestrian zone so we needed to walk a little bit, but not too much. Overall this place was wonderful to stay!

Lidia, the hotel manager and our go-to person, was absolutely exceptional. Her warm, welcoming attitude was the best we experienced on our whole trip. It's clear she also inspires the rest of the staff, whose great service made a huge difference to us. The hotel itself appears to have been recently renovated, and it was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious. (Be prepared for the shared spaces to be a bit poky, and for the odd layout and other quirks that come with turning an old building into a hotel) Lastly, as a businessman, my message to the owner is simple: Retain Lidia at all costs! She is the key to bringing your hotel's service rating to a perfect 10 and keeping it there.

We were warned of the obvious difficulty and that was one of access to a hotel located in a pedestrianized zone. We thus parked about 1km away and had to walk there with luggage. It was Sunday and there was no-one about but an access code had been sent and our key subsequently left on the bar. So, no problem really, The bedroom was, unsurprisingly, small and with nothing resembling a view but the bathroom was well planned and well-equipped.The immediate surroundings of the locanda were not encouraging and it thus rather stood out but the location was good from the point of view of exploring the old town. There were several promising restaurants within a short walk and, the following morning, for breakfast the locanda was exceptionally good with friendly efficient service of fresh everything including freshly made eggs/omelette.

Lovely boutique hotel- very clean and beautifully decorated Super room- bed was very comfortable, bathroom was large, air conditioning was very quiet and effective, bottled water was provided daily, room was extremely quiet even though it was on the street side of the building Staff- very friendly and helpful (especially Lidia) Good communication using WhatsApp Breakfast- wide range of fresh, healthy choices from the buffet while fresh juice, coffee, bacon and eggs could be ordered Excellent location- close to shops, restaurants and historic sights

We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The whole hotel had been refurbished to a high standard. The tastefully decorated rooms were clean, and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast selection was was really good and the food well cooked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Locanda Delle Mercanzie

The Wi-Fi was a bit difficult to connect to, the router wasn't able to allocate and IP address quite often. Probably just a setting in the router that need changing. This wasn't much of a problem as there was a really good 5G signal in the room anyway. The only other negative if I was being picky would be that the lift is a bit slow, but it was clean and worked well and there were only 5 floors.

The breakfast is very good, especially the pancakes and the fresh pressed orange juice. Everything was very clean. The room seemed newly renovated. They had some furniture made from paperwood or whatever, which I liked because of ecologically reasons. We got a couple of water bottles every day, more than we needed, for free. That was really good since we went in August and the heat was as expected crazy. Air condition worked really well and fast. In my opinion the bed was really comfy. The room was not that big, but very comfy and modern but still cosy. The building seems very old, so therefore the sizes. But everything was newly renovated. I loved the old baroque mirror in the breakfast room. The hotel is situated in the city centre. There a parking facilities not far away. One around 1km away for 9,10€/24h one around 500m away for 20€/24h. Both are good, we randomly got a place in each of them, but this might depend on time and day. The hotel has no parking lots due to its location. We did not mind that. The 2 women who seemed to run the hotel were very very kind. Communication in advance was perfect. They would help you with everything. Also they seem to speak a lot of languages (at least italian and german in mother tongue like and english). We can fully recommend it.

Room was not extremely large, but decently sized and more than adequate for my stay. Location is very central. The room and bathroom were both impeccably clean and had all the standard facilities (including slippers, which was appreciated). Wifi worked well and breakfast was of good quality.

Nothing really. If I was to nitpick on a high level, I would point out that the self check-in could be a bit confusing, if one is not used to it yet, but it was mentioned in advance and eventually worked flawlessly anyhow. Also, a toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom would have been nice, but again that's nitpicking.

This property has a soul- it makes you feel more like home than, probably, most places you've ever been to. Staying here has been such a lovely experience, it made me fall in love with the little town of Brescia. The hospitality and attention to detail is out of this world- from the amazing breakfast, to the beautifully decorated rooms, the shower gel (which is very high quality if anyone cares), the shower being extremely comfortable and easy to use, the bath robes always being placed on the bathroom radiator, by the cleaning staff, so that they're very warm and cozy. And, as a cleaning freak, I can tell you that this place was absolutely spotless. I cannot wait to come back to Brescia, in order to stay here again. This was my favourite hotel of our holiday in France and Italy - a beautiful small hotel centrally located in Brescia's old town and close to all the major sites as well as to multiple lovely restaurants and bars. A spotlessly clean and well designed room in a beautifully renovated old building. Excellent breakfast in a pleasant room, with friendly service and great communication from the lovely women who run the hotel.

Nothing at all - it was perfect! And excellent value compared to the prices in other Italian cities!

This hotel was SO comfortable and super clean. Smack dab in the center of the old town with excellent, super friendly service and great air conditioning. The breakfast was divine: lots of options and amazing quality, eggs and coffee made to order. A super cute hotel in general: compact but quaint. This is maybe the best value for money I’ve ever gotten out of a hotel. Would definitely stay again!

The street it’s on could be nicer but that’s quite minor. The location is ideal otherwise and I loved everything about the hotel itself.
