The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is an excellent restaurant on site, and I had sea bass cooked perfectly. Although the property is 150 years old, it is very clean with all the amenities one needs for a nearby hotel to MXP Airport, including a free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel also includes a free breakfast, with many food choices. I found Osteria della Pista dal 1875 very charming.

If you want to stay at an ultra modern hotel, another hotel could be better for you.

I love the location. It’s a pretty area and a cute town. The restaurant was great. The hotel breakfast was full with many choices, sweet and savory. It was a clean place, and the staff was very nice. The free airport shuttle was the icing on the cake. Our first shuttle driver was super nice, and I wish I had caught his name to give him proper praise. The second was also nice, but I didn’t talk to him much…it was too early for conversation. I will definitely stay here, whenever I need to be near the airport. I wasn’t expecting much, because I booked it for proximity to the airport/convenience, and no other reason. I was VERY pleasantly surprised!

We arrived at Malpensa airport and after ringing hotel we were picked up by courtesy transport within 10. Minutes and same on return journey. Lovely room with the bonus of a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. We ordered lunch on day of arrival and met Andreas , head chef , who was friendly and helpful, as were all of the staff, choice at breakfast was good but evening dinner was excellent, many choices for each course .

Whilst hotel was very good there were no other services or restaurants nearby and not good if you wanted to walk, we tried to use the local train station for trains to Milan but had to use taxi to next large station as it did not stop at the one local to the hotel. Whilst we loved the hotel feel that it is more suited to people with their own transport for visiting Milan and surrounding area.

We stayed here for one night before our flight and were really impressed. The location is super convenient—just 15 minutes from Malpensa Airport. The rooms were surprisingly large and comfortable, perfect for spreading out and relaxing before travel. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options including gluten-free breads and pastries, plus multiple milk choices like almond, soy, and regular. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Would definitely stay again!

The only minor drawback was the limited parking directly at the hotel. I was fortunate to find a spot right next to the building, which seemed to be part of the restaurant’s lot. It’s not a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re arriving with a rental car. I understand there’s an additional lot a short walk away if needed. Just good to know in advance.

This hotel offers exceptional service and is a great location to spend a night before any flight out from Milan MXP Airport. Luca from the hotel was super helpful, went above and beyond by calling me personally due to our late arrival and ensuring that we were able to catch their last free 11pm shuttle bus from the airport (as trains were a bit awry that day). With such helpful, friendly and warm staff like Luca, our stay was really comfortable even though very short as we left early the next day morning (Luca also gave me detailed instructions on how we could arrive after 11pm and get into our rooms if we needed to due to the train delays but thanks to his detailed instructions we made it to the last shuttle bus from MXP airport to the hotel that night. The shuttle bus service is very helpful that this hotel offers. Rooms are comfortable and offer good value to budget conscious travelers who only need to spend a quick pit stop night stay before flying out from Milan MXP airport. Breakfast was included too but we were not able to partake any of that due to an early morning exit. Overall, great stay and highly recommend...and THANK YOU again Mr Luca for your help!! Grazie!

This hotel is ideal for travelers flying into Milan who need convenient, no-fuss accommodation. The free airport shuttle was a huge bonus and made getting to and from the airport completely stress-free. The room was clean and comfortable - exactly what you want after a long flight or before an early departure. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and helped us start the day right without having to hunt for food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for practical, convenient accommodation near Milan airport.

I liked the bottled water in my room. A tea kettle would also be highly appreciated. The location is calm and easy to reach by a train from Milan or from Lake Maggiore. I stayed during my vacation in two different rooms and could not use the hair shampoo container (was probably blocked or broken), the hair conditioner container in the bathroom was OK (it`s good to know this information before you start taking a shower). You do not have to worry about a place to have lunch or dinner (there is an excellent restaurant downstairs). You can also easily order a transfer from/to the airport (I used both ways successfully), the travelling time is 10-15 minutes on a minivan with a professional driver.

It turned out that I was extremely allergic to the scent of some hotel perfume that probably came from the bathroom ventilation. It was uncomfortable to sleep during the night. The odour was good but too intense even after airing the room in the evening. I woke up with a running nose and a headache unfortunately. Those with allergies need to take it into consideration.

The free airport shuttle service was fantastic. My flight was delayed therefore I arrived one hour after the shuttle last usual trip but I was still kindly picked up. The breakfast was AMAZING in the beautiful restaurant and very polite and helpful staff. This breakfast was the best that I have ever seen in a smaller hotel with even lactose free, gluten free options....

I had a very bright light placed outside of my window pointing in my room, which was on all night. The curtain had some sort of plastic thing to keep it on one side, which didn't allow to close it properly, therefore my room was far too light during the night. I think, I wasn't lucky with my room. Other rooms had no issues with the lights - how I have heard from other people staying there.

Very clean room, shower room, and linen. The bed was also super comfortable. The driver for the early morning shuttle to the airport was also kind and a gentleman who offered me his hand when I got out of the car. Since there are no shops nearby, additional bottles of mineral water are provided free of charge at the front desk. The osteria's delicious selected seafood is popular among locals, and the staff was friendly.

There wasn't much lighting in the room, so it was inconvenient to pack my bags in the dark very early in the morning. Also, if possible, I would like a bedside light for reading.

I felt that the breakfast was quite limited and there were some surprising omissions For example, we’re in Italy but there were no grapes, no olives, no special cheeses. The bread was just packet supermarket toasting bread. I had a walk around the surrounding streets and came across a small bakery selling several types of typical Italian breads. Couldn’t the hotel offer a few of these to their guests?
