Close to airport, about 15 min ride , free airport shuttle . For Americans, be aware that you’ll have to call to arrange pick up upon arrival and this can take up to half an hour of wait because the shuttle does not constantly move and there’s only one shuttle can. Also if you have to leave very early say at 4 am they will charge you 25 euros because it’s outside normal pick up time. There’s free breakfast with good selections and choices. They are very accommodating to our needs. Communication was excellent. Their shuttle drivers were very courteous. Rooms and hotel itself looks older but very clean nevertheless. If coming from the city there’s a train station close by , train stop is called Casorate Sempione.

Not close enough to the airport. I thought it was only few minutes away. Still far but much closer than downtown Milan.

The hotel sent a good little video of how to find the entrance and do self checkin. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower warm. We went too late for breakfast but they kindly put some more out for us. We caught the hotel shuttle back to the airport in the morning to get a bus up to Baveno in Lake Maggiore, nice driver.

Room was rather uninspiring and lack lustre. The air con didn't work, bit of a funny smell in the room. Our flight was in 22:50 so we were too late to book the shuttle (finishes at 22:30 from the hotel) We went to the main taxi rank which is for Milan taxis. A driver pointed us to go down to -1 level for local taxis. There were a few there and it was late after midnight as our flight was delayed an hour. The taxi was €30.

This is a great family run hotel. Stayed here the night I flew into Malpensa and the night before. Very flexible on check in and check out times. The free airport shuttle was perfect and the driver was great. Breakfast was a good solid breakfast which would suit most people unless you’re after a big cooked breakfast. But when in a Italy do as the Italians do. I also highly recommend the pizzeria downstairs. The pizzas were huge and incredibly tasty as was the German tap beer. There’s a suburban train station about 7 minutes walk away which makes getting into Milan and beyond easy. Word of warning, early in the day the station is not manned and there is no ticket machine.

The only thing against this hotel, the second time I started the walls appeared thin as loud TV noise came in from the adjacent room. But after a long day travelling I still managed to fall asleep, but conscious others may have difficulties. But overall, a great place to stay for proximity

The hotel is close to Malpensa Airport. We opted for it because of the transfer to the airport and very reasonable price for one-night stay. We had a room with three single beds. The room was small but very clean. The towels and bed clothes were of high quality and also impeccable. The transfer picks you up right at the exit of the Malpensa Terminal 1 train station. But what really made our stay unforgettable is the hotel restaurant. It was Saturday evening and many Italians dined there as well with families and friends. The service was excellent, and the choice of beverages, food and desserts was much beyond our expectations. We had the most delicious and pleasant dinner. The staff is very friendly, and the morning transfer back to the airport right in time and very quick (about 7 minutes)! There are also many shops and outlets nearby. I will definitely come again.

I liked everything, but those who look for luxurious and spacious accommodation might prefer to pay bigger price for more expensive hotel.

This is one of the last tourist-class hotels that has all the best features of the good old days of pensions. The decor - old maps, architectural drawings, and foxhunting scenes and characters (Sempione is known as "Kent East" because of its long history of riding to hounds) add to the feel. Loved the "downstairs" open air beer garden restaurant. Great house wines, on-tap local beers, shaded, and walk right out onto the charming old lane behind the old mews. Menu was spot on local and absolutely reasonably priced. Airport shuttle pickup and drop off was perfect. Arrived MXP by train, departed next day by air, the shuttle took only 15 min each way and the driver was (as always) charming and helpful. Actually faster than staying at an "airport" hotel and waiting forever for the shuttle to the terminal!

Just a note to light sleepers - the front rooms face a street that is busy from about 4pm-10pm. It's quiet after that, and I slept like a log, but if you are not used to urban street noise, you may prefer a rear-facing room (with lovely views out over the mews) or an upper floor.

The pickup service from the airport was great. The location was good as we stayed two nights. It was easy to catch the train for a day's sight seeing out to Lake Maggiore. Well worth the 30 minute trip. The restaurant downstairs was great we ate there both nights. Fabulous pizza and excellent coffee. Service was very friendly. Breakfast was okay nothing flash but adequate. The room rate was value for money.

The room was a bit run down needs a paint job. Difficult to find a cold beer when the temp was in the mid 30's. Had to wait until the restaurant opened at 7pm.

A lovely friendly hotel about 12 mins drive to the airport. Excellent free efficient airport transfer included with a friendly driver. On ou r return, we caught the first transfer of the day at 4.45am which got us to the airport for 5am. Small but clean rooms. It was nice and warm, which we appreciated in January! Good breakfast and the restaurant downstairs is delicious and good value for lunch or an evening meal. In a small residential village with a bakery. About 10-15 mins walk to the train station which has hourly trains to Milan Centre and every couple of hours there are trains to Arona in Lake Maggiore.

It would be good to have the option of taking some crackers / packed breakfast items for those leaving on an early flight before breakfast starts, which I imagine is common. But a tiny suggestion and perhaps if we had asked they would have happily obliged, they were so friendly.

The food! The restaurant was exceptional. We arrived in the evening thanks to the very helpful, and friendly shuttle and the restaurant was able to serve us - it did NOT disappoint. That meal was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Europe. The closeness to the airport was so convenient. The room was fine, the beds were fine. We slept well! Very happy with the breakfast. All round the staff were lovely.

We were in a large room as there were 5 of us, but it's in the roof space so aircraft were regularly on approach right over us. Also due to the shape of the room, the bathroom was a bit awkward to use.

The room was spotless, and comfortable.There was an extra blanket in the cupboard if needed, plus shower gel and a hairdryer. There were multiple items available for sale at the front desk (toothpaste etc). The staff were friendly and welcoming. The airport shuttle was prompt and reliable. There is a restaurant on site.

There was a minor leak (from the rain)in the hallway outside my room, but to their credit they changed my room when I mentioned it. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the Malpensa airport, further than I expected.

The location was very convenient to the airport and hotel provided free pick up and drop off (they were also accommodating with my very early timing to the airport) Note the free shuttle service in their details section. The room was very spacious and clean

During the day, you will notice more noise coming from the restaurant downstairs. If you need sleep during the day, I suggest having your ear plugs handy. The roads in front of the area/near the hotel isn't the most walking friendly road as there isn't much of a shoulder to walk on.
