Where to start! Rocco was an amazing host and as well as a fantastic breakfast every morning (including peaches from his own tree - delicious) he provided useful information on pretty much every aspect of life in Cefalu. He helped with restaurants, beach bookings and even Vespa hire without it ever feeling too much - a WhatsApp was enough to make things happen. The rooms are very near the harbour in the centre of town but on the top floor so lovely and quiet. The other B&B bedroom is on the opposite side of the shared sitting room kitchen (a lovely place to relax before going out in the evening or in the heat of the day) so it is very private. I couldn't recommend Azzurro B&B any more enthusiastically.

I always try to write something here because otherwise it looks a bit fake, but there really was nothing we didn't like.

Exceptional host (Rocco) who makes you feel like you're visiting an old family friend. He is super helpful with tips, recommendations and happily takes care of reservations since he knows everything about Cefalu and the sourroundings (or basically all of Sicily). Forget google reviews or tripadvisor rankings; Rocco will give you the local insights! He is very friendly and likes to chat at the morning table (anything from Sicilian life, politics or his fruit garden) while providing breakfast but not intrusive and let's you go your way throughout the day. You can reach him anytime and he will be happy to assist. About the place itself: We had the room to the back which is probably more quiet than the front, bright and cosy. Big enough (especially for a historic center in an old town) and lovely renovated. Breakfast was at a set time (9:00) in the common space (shared with the other double room) with a lot of options (boiled egg, ham, cheese, salami, bred, fruit, yoghurt, coffee,...). Location is extremely central and the town is small, so anything is reachable by foot.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Azzurro! Rocco was incredibly charming and went above and beyond to help us, from recommending fantastic local spots to making restaurant reservations. His hospitality made our experience feel personal and memorable. The breakfast was simply perfect — fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. And the location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of Cefalù, just steps from everything yet wonderfully peaceful. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Sicilian warmth in a beautiful setting!

The apartment is situated at the seaside edge of the bustling old town. It is surrounded by restaurants and wine bars - thank goodness for wooden shutters which are very efficient for keeping out the late night noise. Our host Rocco is the most kind and charming person you could possibly meet. He is very attentive and willing to help with any arrangements. Rocco provides a superb breakfast of fresh local produce. There is a beautifully designed and spacious lounge area which is shared with other guests. The balcony is very narrow, suitable for plant pots but not for sitting.

The kitchen, although shown in the photos, is not a facility which can be used by guests, except for the fridge.

We were very well looked after by Rocco, he was very helpful and friendly. We loved all of his recommendations which ranged from restaurants and bars, to beaches and tours. He also helped us avoid all the tourist traps. He is very well connected in town so was always able to get us the best sunbeds/tables in each place when he made reservations for us, which he kindly offered to do. The property is right in the middle of the beautiful old town and near everything we wanted to see and do. It's also extremely clean and well equipped. Rocco provides a gorgeous breakfast every morning, we especially loved the fresh peaches from his garden. We highly recommend staying here as it made our trip that much more memorable. This is the only place we will ever stay when we return to Cefalù. Rocco is the best host we’ve ever encountered. Outgoing, knowledgeable, friendly. He arranged taxi for us, had tons of local suggestions for us, insisted on helping with the luggage up several flights of stairs, and had a fully stocked kitchen waiting for us including fresh fruit from his home, eggs, coffee, biscotti, milk, water, cheese and meat, etc. Location can’t be beat, in the heart of it all and easy to walk anywhere. And the apartment was perfect for our family of four…spotless, comfortable and an amazing terrace and views!

Absolute perfection. Rocco is the most wonderful host and provided us with so much helpful local knowledge. Parking available close to property and the apartment is in the most gorgeous part of the old town. The apartment itself is just magic. Spacious, comfortable, quiet and everything you can imagine is provided. We particularly loved the balcony views and outdoor shower! The kitchen is great and has all you need to cook meals. Bed is really comfortable. Highly recommend! Thank you Rocco for making our stay so memorable.

Azzuro is a fab find in Cefalu, you won’t be disappointed! Rocco the host is amazing, he makes sure you have all the information of local restaurants and wine bars, always available for anything you need, bookings, taxis, etc Breakfast is made by Rocco at 9am each morning in the apartment. There are two bedrooms that share the living/kitchen area space that really works well, nice to meet new people who are enjoying Cefalu. We stayed in the Mountain View bedroom which was very peaceful. The beach is sandy and a 1 minute walk from the apartment which we loved, nice to have an early morning swim before breakfast. You walk out into the hustle and bustle of Cefalu town which we loved, restaurants/bar opposite over look the sea and the sunrise. We completed the hike up La Rocca by leaving the house at 7:45am and we turned at 9:30am, worth doing as great views from the top, download the All trails App. We parked our car in the train car park which cost 20 euros for 2 days, the walk down is 12 mins and all downhill, very easy walk. Can’t wait to return to Cefalu again and will definitely be staying at Azzuro!

Everything about the property was perfect. Our room was spotlessly clean, lovely comfy bed and a balcony with a view of the sea, a perfect place to watch the world go by. Breakfast was beautifully prepared every morning by Rocco with home grown ingredients and something to suit everyone. What really makes Auzzuro B&B so perfect is Rocco. He is always ready to help, has a great knowledge of the area and lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. You wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else once you’ve stayed at Azzuro B&B!

Great location. Immediately beside the restaurants, the sights and the beaches. Rocco was a fantastic host. Arranged taxis for us from and to the train station. Advised on best sights, beaches and restaurants. In fact he booked two restaurants for us both of which were great. Also advised on where to go for a really good glass of wine! Rocco also provided us with a great breakfast each morning and provided us with great conversation about Sicily and Italy.
