Beautiful location set in the Tuscan countryside not far from Chiusdino and San Gimignano. The old abbey is just a few minutes walk and is a must visit! Wonderful freshwater natural pool with loungers and plenty of el fresco seating areas. We dined there on the evening and the food was top quality and I understand sourced from the farm itself. I had slow cooked wild boar and it was just amazing! Breakfast was included and was continental style. A the top of the hill there is a little church ( and San Galgano’s “ sword in the stone”) as well as a nice deli/ cafe/ wine shop with a large terrace.

The view on the abbey from our room, the amazing natural pool, the outstanding quality of the food at the restaurant.

The aircon wasn’t working properly in the room, however when we told them they promptly fixed it.

Beautiful agriturismo close to Siena, cozy simple rooms with air conditioning and a beautiful lake pool outside. The atmosphere is really great. The dinner and breakfast were very good and the tiramisu was the best one we had during our trip! The Abbazia is worth visiting and had a photo exposition during our stay. The golden hour is absolutely magnificent.

Beautiful location and run by friendly staff. The food was incredible, and we felt like in a movie with the beauty of Tuscany, the farm house and the abbey.

Hard to find someone when we arrived to check in.

Nice area, good to spend a nice afternoon around it, if you do not want to go somewhere else. Restaurant is nice and the food is good (and decent prices). Breakfast is also ok, although some eggs would have been nice.

Toilet furniture was a little old and not maintained. Some of the towel hooks were falling off, but it is nothing special. Poor breakfast food choice, no warm food choices

A very charming and comfortable place, beautiful surroundings, a nice swimming pool in the form of a lake, next to the agritourism farm there is a great attraction in the form of the Abbey of San Galgano, which has no roof, a fantastic menu in the restaurant.

Lovely setting, very good on site restaurant and cafe / bar, free parking, beautiful natural pool set into a lake type setting. It was very deep in the middle. Good traditional breakfast. Lovely to have the Abbey on the doorstep. Beautiful sunset.

Was a little challenging to take luggage to room from car as carpark about 250 metres away and you have to drag bags over small stone gravel and up a lot of stairs, would have been good to have been able to drive car up closer. Was fine however and probably is ok for most, but we had lots of luggage.

Such a pleasant stay. Very kind and helpful hosts with good tips for sightseeing. Amazing food, nice clean rooms and great location just next to San Galgano church. Also for dog owners, dogs are welcome and nicely accepted.

Warm welcome by reception staff and help with our luggage, beautiful grounds adjacent to the Abbey. Good to have restaurant on site for dinner. Lots of vegetable choices on the menu.
