Relais Le Macine di Stigliano is an absolute gem, perfectly nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The location is peaceful, picturesque, and a perfect base for exploring the region. Matilde was an exceptional host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. She assisted with our bags, provided detailed local information, and gave us excellent recommendations, including a fantastic spot for Bistecca alla Fiorentina that we absolutely loved. The hospitality, setting, and service made our stay truly special. We felt so well taken care of and completely at ease. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Tuscan experience.

Where do I start? I really want to come back and stay for ever. The staff is amazing, we asked them about recommendations and help with planning our days and they made everything so so easy. The surroundings are breathtaking and you have everything you need witihin a 15minute car ride. You wake up to the sound of birds and the views are stunning from the Hotel! The hotel restaurant is a must, the food and the service is outstanding. Breakfast is also amazing, a big variety of things out but you can also order some more stuff. There is a beautiful pool but the weather wasn’t on our side while we were there so we couldn’t enjoy it. I am definitely coming back soon!

The views were absolutely stunning and the surroundings were beautiful – a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to our dog, who had a great time playing with their dog, Mallory. Special thanks to Matilde - she was wonderful and really made our stay special. The food was delicious. And don’t worry about the road – we made it just fine with our low-suspension car. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, great personalized service. We enjoyed the breakfast and we had dinner one evening which was great. Especially Carlotta (?) and Augustino in the reception went above and beyond to help us with suggestions and reservations in the area and they were spot on.

There were odd rules regarding the hot tub. Absolutely no rain drops were allowed in ("it would ruin it and they would have to change all the water...") and we had to pay extra to use it.

Nice location on a hill outside Siena. Pretty view. Nice pool area, which we did not utilize much due to the weather. Love the staff. Margherita was there to assist with our every need. They were all great. Plus, they had a really extensive wine collection. What really surprised me, and I don't know why, was that this place had a top notch chef. The dinners each night varied and one had several delicious options from which to choose. They have a nightly tasting menu for a minimum of two people that looked very interesting. We did not choose that option during our stay. I am sure we missed out.

The location was breathtaking and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was fantastic too. The rural location made it easy to drive to some of Tuscany's most beautiful sights.

Honestly can't fault our stay here. The rural location means that you need to have a car as its not on any main routes, but you need a car to see rural tusany properly and appreciate its beauty.

The hotel was super clean, and room was spacious and every one of their staff were smiling and giving positive energy from our arrival till we left Special thanks to the receptionist who checked us in, had the time to took us for a quick tour in the hotel facilities and explained to us everything in our room in details, which was so nice of him للعرب: الحمام فيه شطاف 😄

If you're a city guy, that hotel is not an option to you. It's located at a very quiet area surrounded by mother nature from every angle. The breakfast was good and tasty, but could be improved

A beautiful place with awesome views. The hotel is very intimate and beautiful. Feels like you have the place to yourself. Stunning gardens, lovely pool, hot tub & sauna.

Everything was perfect! I just wish we had stayed longer.

Words can’t even begin to describe what an amazing hotel this is. I love that it was a quiet getaway but close enough to a variety of cities and villages. The staff was incredible and the food was literally Michelin material. I’ve never been sad to leave a hotel as much as I was sad to leave this one. We will be back again for sure!

There’s quite a few bugs, but that’s to be expected when you’re out in the country.

At the end of the world but nevertheless in good position for our daily trips in that region. Room, pool, breakfast with 3 different possibilities very nice. Absolutely calm, nice and charming. Due to the fact we used the whole day for our trips we never ever had dinner at hotel.

The air condition was a small shortcoming.
