The property is divine, we took many long walks, the area is spectacular and it was so wonderful to just unwind.

The location, food, wine, service, and superior apartment exceeded our expectations. Want peace of mind, this is the place to be. No frills, just chill with your bottle of wine, I recommend the Melacce. Views are stunning are stunning over the vineyards and olive trees. Well-kept garden. Their food is as wholesome as it gets, with local products, and daily choices and if it is not there, the chef will whip you a nice, healthy lunch or dinner. We recommend trying the Porcini or fried Zucchini flower (depending on the season). Their olive oil is world-class and cannot be purchased in the supermarkets in Italy, so if you like it and you can take it along with you, our recommendation is to take it.

Actually, there is nothing to not like here. If you like authentic, healthy and peaceful, then this is the place to be.

The location, food, wine, service, and rooms exceeded our expectations. This is truly a place to go to unwind, enjoy the views, and eat food that surpassed many of the restaurants we went to across Italy. In many ways this was the best stay I've ever had while traveling abroad. If you're looking for a villa type stay with world class views and food, stay here.

The only thing we didn't like was how squeaky our bed was, but that was a small thing and did not inconvenience us at all. One other thing, if you are driving from Rome or the south to here, definitely read the instructions from the hotel. Google / Apple Maps will take you on a dirt road that leads to a river crossing and that is certainly not what you want to do.

Lovely location and spacious clean room. The hotel is really set up for weddings and we did have a fair wait at reception when staff were greeting a prospective bride. Dinner and the wine was lovely, breakfast was good.

Staff were mostly attentive other than in the restaurant where it seemed it was their first time serving. We didn’t get served wine until after starters (despite asking twice), there were less than 8 tables of only hotel guests. Whilst the stay was relaxing, there were a lot of families with children when we stayed - do not expect a relaxed pool experience.

I arrived later than I had anticipated, the Receptionist was extremely helpful and ensured that I was able to meet up with a wedding party, off site, promptly. Olga in the restaurant was so pleasant and remembered everyone’s coffee preferences etc. Stefano completely changed a tv to try to get better reception and re inflated my tyres on a poorly maintained rental car.

Internet connection in order to find and play music was very intermittent, but not really that much of a problem.

the property is immaculate. the pictures do not do if justice. beautifully manicured with spectacular views of the Tuscan hills. the servicing was great. specially one of the servers, Sabrina. will definitely be back

the pool was cold. definitely needs a heater. if they offer activities for kids we would have stayed longer

Absolutely stunning hotel in a former priory. Picture perfect Tuscany. Staff is incredibly welcoming. And of course for wine lovers, the surrounding vineyards and the winery belonging to the same proprietor are great. We were extremely lucky to find affordable rooms as last minute deals, otherwise this would not have been within our budget. Also the disabled room was great, large and easily accessible.

One minor note: for wheelchair users, this a large estate and there is a lot of wheeling in the grass involved.

One of the best accommodations I´ve ever stayed in (and I travel a lot). You feel like you are in paradise, everything is quiet, clean and very tasteful. The staff is so nice and helpful, that you feel like you are part of a big Tuscan family. If I should name one place in Italy as an island of peace and quiet, it would definitely be here!

The location is amazing, on the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful toscan scenery. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was also very nice.

It is a beautiful place put it lacks the charm of other toscan accommodations we stayed at, given the houses, the church and location this place could have been perfect, put it is a little steril, the way it is arranged feels more like a wedding venue than a cosy old village. More vegetation to delimit different spaces and more comfortable outside seating areas would be great.
