The hotel is excelent! Great location, near to Castello Banfi. The staff (Vitto and the waitress!) was very polite and helpful, we had few minutes to have something to eat and they made us amazing sandwiches. There is also spa included, very good. The bed was big and confortable and all the building very clean and beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Podere Brizio! It's a romantic, cozy, and very quiet place surrounded by the real Tuscan ambiance — vineyards, rolling hills, and that dreamy countryside charm. The room was very cute, clean, and perfectly cozy — just right for a romantic getaway. The placement is exceptional, giving easy access to the surrounding villages and wineries, yet it's peaceful and private. The staff was super nice, attentive, and really went above and beyond. Everything we asked for, they made it happen — from printing maps and planning our daily itineraries to recommending local food spots and hidden gems to eat. We enjoyed the romantic dinner on site, home-cooked food — authentic, fresh, and made with love. They are truly prepared to do anything to make your stay unforgettable. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the typical Tuscan breakfast presentation was a lovely start to each day. We felt pampered, welcomed, and completely relaxed. This was one of our favorite stays ever — wonderful, relaxing, and filled with little details that made all the difference. We will definitely come back for sure!

The hotel is a typical Tuscan house, just like in the movies — exactly how I imagined it! There are so many cozy corners to relax in, beautiful green spaces, an amazing pool, and unforgettable views of the vineyards. But the real highlight was the staff — truly warm, attentive, and committed to making this the best stay of my life. A special thanks to Sara, who was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived until the day we left. And Pasquale, the chef, who prepared an unforgettable antipasto platter and the most incredible bistecca I’ve ever had! I’ll never forget this place — it was a dream come true.

- The expansive property was peaceful and beautiful, especially with the unobstructed, starry night sky after dinner. - Vito, the manager, is charming and full of personality, also attentive and genuine. - Facilities were very good onsite and the small wellness spa can rival that of a 5* hotel in terms of what you get (word of warning though, the steam/sauna rooms need some time to warm up as they're not on all the time). It was a complete unwind reading in the garden, by the poolside, or relaxing in the spa and bonding over a game of tennis. - We benefitted from an upgrade and the room was very spacious. The bathroom is modern, well-fitted and clean.

- The shower temperature can be intermittent. - Breakfast choices/quality a bit more limited.

Vito and the other staff at Podere Brizio were exceptional! So friendly, welcoming, helpful with recommendations and accommodating. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was varied and tasty and definitely recommend eating at the restaurant on site. If I could give more stars I would. Truly an unforgettable experience which we will never forget.

Only that we wish the restaurant/bar was open more so we could eat/drink there more! The food was excellent so definitely recommend messaging ahead to check with Vito which days it is open so you don’t miss out. Drinks are available in your room though so if you want to enjoy a bottle of wine on site you can.

Podere Brizio completely exceeded our expectations! The surroundings are just so beautiful, it was very peaceful and absolutely stunning. The team were very welcoming and super helpful with recommendations and things to do. The rooms are really spacious and clean as were the other facilities I.e swimming pool. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was our favourite night, the food was delicious, Vito was a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting underneath the stars hearing all the crickets and wildlife. We will definitely be returning!

This place is idyllic in every respect, the rooms are fabulous, the location is peaceful and quiet, parking no problem, swimming pool clean and beautiful. The hotel has a spa facility and this is well worth a visit, all included in the room rate. This boutique hotel is situated within the vines and olive trees of the wine estate surrounded by forests. The restaurant is excellent serving local produce and their own wines, which are first class at every level. Wines are sourced from all their estates, so Chianti along with Brunello wines are offered. Vito the general manager, runs the place along with his efficient and very helpful team and they make the place what it is. The food is superb and the breakfast extensive.

The most beautiful sprawling gardens and facilities. We adored our stay here. The staff were amazing and ensured we were looked after. We had the most amazing dinner at sunset looking at the gardens. Food and wine were incredible. Also a short drive to Montalcino for a wander and shop. Absolutely would revisit again!

Felt like home away from home! Quiet and welcoming. Vito the manager was exceptional. One of our group suffered a mishap in Rome the day we arrived at Montelcino and was very distressed. Vito saw to her needs by bringing service to her room, ice packs etc. He was attentive but with dignity. one evening we had a picnic on the porch of one of the rooms and he brought glasses, a knife for the meat and cheese and was genuinely glad we were having a good time of it! We did have long drives to the places some days but carved out a good schedule to accommodate! Highly recommend PB!

A fair way from Montelcino- so we had to hire a driver at a big expense to take us to town in the evening. No cabs or shuttles.

Podere Brizio is a hidden Paradise - no other words can describe better from our point of view! Vito is a most charming and excellent host! He makes all wishes happen in a very welcoming way! During the day it was very quiet on the Pool, as most of the guests were visiting the lovely vineyards in the neighbourhood! The 3 course Dinner was always very tasty and if we were hungry for Lunch, Vito was always preparing a light and easy meal for us!
