The cleanliness, comfort, staff, and location of this hotel was wonderful. The shower was amazing!! It was so easy to reach by car coming back to the city for the night before flights, and it’s very close to the airport. There are nearby restaurants, and a grocery store. It’s easy walking too.

The ONLY downside was the hotel airport shuttle was for a fee. It was 8 euros per person if you used the hotel shuttle. It is more economical to use a taxi service if your group is more than 3 people. Also, the shuttle does not begin early enough for those having very early flights (ex: 7:00) so the only choice is to use a taxi service for those. The hotel staff is REALLY helpful and easily arranged a taxi ride for the part of our group that had an early flight.

This is not a fancy hotel but it was a good place to stay for a night, close to the airport. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and our room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked well on a hot day. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was large . There are many lovely restaurants and a grocery store within a short walk. A wonderful Beach is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We loved the Beach . The water was calm, shallow and warm. With a lovely sandy beach. We went to one of the Beach clubs and rented 2 nice Beach loungers and an umbrella for the afternoon for about $ 20. The beach club had washrooms , showers and food available. It was a fantastic relaxing way to spend the last day of our wonderful but busy trip to Italy. The hotel has a very simple breakfast available with croissants, yogurt, coffee, Tea and juices. We were able to arrange a shuttle at the hotel desk . To the Airport from the hotel for 8 Euro per person.

The hotel is only about a 15 minute drive from the airport but a TAXI cost 35 EURO to the hotel. There is a shuttle service from the airport but it was difficult to find the stop and the schedule at the airport . The Airport shuttle cost 8 to 10 Euro per person.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was super clean and spacious, which was great. I loved that it was just a short walk to the city center, where there are so many fantastic local restaurants and dessert spots to explore. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. When my sister accidentally left her bag on our way to the airport, they took care of it right away and kept it safe until we could pick it up. Such awesome service!

We stayed at Academy Hotel after we returned from a cruise to be close to the airport. We all enjoyed our stay. It was with in walking distance to some great restaurants. It was a nice break from crazy overcrowded Rome. The staff was absolutely amazing! Selim was such a big help in suggesting restaurants and arranging transportation for us. He was always smiling and ready to help. In fact, everyone we encountered from the staff was super friendly and helpful. Andrea, Luciano and a young lady that was normally there in the morning. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was spotless with lots of room! It’s also within walking distance to the beach which was a big surprise for me. I had no idea it was that close. They offer shuttle service and taxi service to and from the airport. It was so easy and convenient. I hope to visit Academy Hotel again someday! The staff are friendly, helpful and very flexible. The reception is open 0-24. The hotel is very clean, the common areas, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. There is daily cleaning. The furnishings in the room are modern and not cluttered. The matress, the bedsheets and the pillows are comfortable, the towels are new. You can see that everything is replaced before it gets worn out. Breakfast is available at a very good price. The breakfast is also delicious. Could be a bit more variety, maybe the scrambled eggs, sausage or cereal is missing. But this is just a recommendation, the hotel is still a super choice.

This was the perfect place to stay the night for an early flight out the next morning. It is within walking distance of the pick-up location for a public bus that can take you to the airport. There are also many restaurants around, including a take-out sushi place, which was perfect as I just wanted to relax the night before my international flight. The room was perfect for what I needed - just a comfortable full-size bed with a clean bathroom and functioning wifi. It was nothing fancy but it was clean and did the job!

When I was checking in, I was asked very loudly if I was alone, which made me nervous because I was a female traveling alone and didn't want to advertise that to everyone in the vicinity. Then, a young man working for the hotel walked me up to my room to show me where it was which also made me uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. I know that the staff were just trying to do their job, and nothing bad came of it, but it took me a bit to feel settled after that introduction.

Fiumicino is just minutes to the airport. There is shuttle service to and from the airport for several hotels in the area. Front desk arranged for a taxi to pick us up on the morning as the shuttle time wasn't convenient for us. We found a fabulous gem of a restaurant within walking distance nearby for a lovely dinner.

Our room was off the courtyard, where people like to gather and smoke. Breakfast starts at 7, as we left then we didn't have an opportunity to eat before leaving. Though they did offer to make us a coffee.

We had an AM flight, so elected to stay near the Rome Airport, and this hotel was perfect for that. Quite clean, with parking and good AC, and it was very close to the airport. This venue worked great for that. Staff were helpful and pleasant too.

Nothing really. It fit what we were looking for there. I'd probably have the staff wipe the molding at the bottom of the shower with a bit of Clorox, but it's really a minor complaint - the place felt pretty clean and it was good to have AC working well there and parking included.

The 24/7 desk was a big help, we took the shuttle to and from the airport The staff were super responsive in the chat, helped us find the shuttle place when we just landed. There’s a big Coop (supermarket) just around the corner for every need, and a great basket down the street. Close to the Main Street (the harbor) with all the restaurants that were open even late at night.( not usual to Italy in the winter time)

I would like to commend the on duty manager, Diabate, for his welcome when I checked in. He was very friendly and helpful and reassured me that the 6:15am airport shuttle was reliable and it was. He made an effort to get me into my room before 3 pm, which was very much appreciated. I only stayed one night because I made an error when booking, but it was a pleasant last night in Italy. Thank you Diabate. Academy Hotel is very fortunate to have you as an employee.
