Mario is very nice host and he is sincere to his work. Hes doing multi task he pick up us and drop he is very helpful well accomodated and funny. He is very hardworking Host for family of 4. Hes trying very best and very entertaining on my 2 small kids. quiet place peaceful clean good neighbor lots of food easy to acess with free water and snacks. They are gentle sincere and helpful especially for family. worth to try and stay easy to access to airport. Just communicate advance to Mario he is the best! Nice sunset here too

Stayed for one night before going on to Siena. Close to Fiumicino airport, you can get there by local bus for 7 euros. The room is quite large, spacious, new. Comfortable large bed. The room has a refrigerator, TV, separate spacious bathroom with all the necessary amenities. In the fully equipped shared kitchen on the ground floor of the hotel there is everything you need to cook, a kettle, coffee machine, water cooler and snacks for breakfast. The owner Mario kindly arranged for us to return to the airport.

I must rate this stay 10/10!!! - mainly because of attitude of owner of the flat. He is really friendly. The main thing we had to solve after our arrival to this accommodation was - how the hell can we get to the airport at 4 a.m.? No taxi in area - but it was really immediately solved by the owner - when I was asked to pay city tax, he asked me, if I want to get to the airport for 25E :) He was driver, 4 a.m. time didn´t matter! At this this time he was prepaired at the kitchen, where U can have coffee, tee, some cakes without having BnB stay and without extra fees for it... He drove us to the airport, it´s 10 minutes - for 25E it is realy nice deal, normal taxis may take at this time about 90E. If Your plane is going later than 8:00+, You will be able to get to the Airport by Shuttle Bus for maybe 3 Euros (first goes at 7:00) , it´s continuing to Rome then. Busstop is 15 minutes from this accommodation. To sum my review - this is realy good place to stay in Fiumicino. If You could have an issue with time of flight, take it easy then, go for tasty dinner to any restaurant near here and enjoy evenening. Mario will drive You to Airport next day in 10 minutes, no stress! Mario, tnx!!!!!

Everything was perfect!

The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs as we were transiting through Rome and needed a comfortable place to rest between long flights. The room was clean and easily accessible from the airport. Mario, the owner, and his family were wonderful hosts. He kindly offered to arrange an airport transfer at half the cost of a regular taxi, even late at night, which we greatly appreciated. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the room was spacious, featuring two comfortable double beds. A breakfast was simple, but a company of Italian relatives sharing small table in the morning was just a great experience))

The property is quite near to the airport and can be reached by a 10 minute taxi. The host is a nice person who is ready to help with things. The room is an apartment and is quite big. Breakfast is a self to-do breakfast with limited options for just a quick bite. If you are planning to have a car drive then this can turn out to be a good option.

The apartment can only be reached by Taxi which is a bummer. If landing in the airport in the afternoon, then the options in the city center would be better as the airport shuttle bus take 7 euros to reach city center. I paid a lot for transport then any other city in europe just because I decided to stay near the airport as my flight was landing around 11:30 PM. The taxi arranged by host was a good help but I was charged 75 euros to reach Vatican which was way too much than I expected.

It is a clean and cozy place equipped with everything you need during a trip like breakfast, aircon, wifi, hairdryer, change of towels, all without extra charge. Mario, the host was very nice and helpful.

There is nothing wrong with the property itself but Fiumicino where it is located has a bit confusing public transport. It is very hard to get to Rome and takes a lot of time.

Mondo is a very cute place to stay if you have a one day lay over in Rome and need to be close to the airport..No need to pay more. ..It's super clean, and Mario is super helpful! W espresso making it himself and offer it for you.! 🙂If you're solo , or couple he can offer to drop you to Europe.

AC is not on!!! It was super hot when I walked in...You need to buzz the doorbell to get in :), I figured I just presses, ansld gate opened. Then you need to call Mario, on the telephon he number posted on the sign, if he's not at the desk...He came by right away.

This is an absolutely lovely and amazing “home”. I arrived in Rome from Vienna late the night before and found this place near the airport for my connecting flight at Fiumicino the next evening. Mario and Nicola took care of me like family and I will never forget the moments I had in the lovely garden with the pool and a beer, vino della casa with them before going to the airport! I will definitely, and absolutely be back. Once again, a big hug to Mario and Nicola. Grazie mille ci vediamo, arrivederci!

The place was sparkling clean, big comfortable beds, excellent wi-fi, the host waited for us even if we arrived at about 2 a.m.. A tranquil place, near the port of Fiumicino and the airport. They even offer you a small breakfast (the traditional „collazione”), even if on Booking it is not mentioned „breakfast included”, and you don't pay for breakfast. The staff was very friendly (romanians that know what a tourist expects and needs). Very good value for money!

The taxi from the airport is expensive (25 euro for the 5-6 minutes from airport to the accommodation). If you can, try to take the bus near the location, if you come from the airport or, if with small luggage (backpack or small bag) you can go even for a 20-30 minutes walk.

- The room was clean. - The bed was very confortable. - It is near the airport (for 20 Euros the owner took us to the airport at 6 in the morning). He also gave us a little breakfast with coffee and croissants at 6 o'clock. - The wifi works great. - The garden looks beautiful. - The neighborhood is very quiet and the property is located in a residential area with beautiful small houses, not big buildings. - Close to a bus station (300 metres away) and the bus Cotral can take you to a subway station in Rome called EUR Magliana in less than one hour drive. From EUR Magliana in a few minutes you are at the Coloseum.

We stayed only 8 hours, we didn't have time to dislike something. For 24 hours in Rome, it was a perfect perfect so no dislike! Visit this house! Thanks to the owner! We will definetely come back!
