The hosts were very helpful... welcoming and gave us good information. Breakfast was a great selection of breakfast pastries and fruit. Host even made us good coffee. They arranged for our transport to the airport and when one driver didn't come, our host gave us a ride there in his own vehicle....going above and beyond! We also love the area...on the fishing seashore, with a "boardwalk" and restaurants and shops within walking distance. We stayed there a second time on our return, and we really like this quiet, accommodating place so near the airport.

We only stayed one night as we had an early flight. The place is very nice, I believe was a mainson that is now transformed in a small boutique hotel. Great location, close to buss station and restaurants. The room was clean and we booked with them and early airport shuttle (4:00 am) and everything was well organised. They also offered water and packed breakfast which was highly appreciated. I recommend the place!

We love the friendly staff and their helpfulness! The hosts helped us out when we were in a pinch too. We like the town...away from the business of Rome, a fishing town, near the airport, with a boardwalk by the sea to see all the fishing boats. Lots of shops and restaurants as well. Just 10 min to the airport by taxi.

The walls between rooms are thin so you can hear people next door at times - snoring, loud conversation or tv. The TV is all Italian with 1 station in French (maybe aimed at most of their clientele?)

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. They had car service available and excellent restaurants within walking distance. European breakfast included which is not included in any hotel, excellent value and a home like environment. Diffantly will stay with them again next year. Easy access to airport and able to make arrangements to get a car to Rome and pickup as well. So enjoyed our stay at La Maison Royale bed and breakfast!

It's not a bad thing but fresh seafood was available at the dock but we had no way to cook it as there is no cooking available 😭. Across the street is a seafood store ..which killed us because we all love seafood. Otherwise this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations..

The person who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, the place was amazing really beautiful like you were in a novel or something, I just loved it and breakfast in the morning talking with the locals, well priceless

Is not negative but it's important to point out that there is no airport shuttle per see, but a person who gives that service to the hotel and that is cheaper than a cab when you get to Fiumicino airport you can call the hotel and he will send the car normally is EUR 20.00 so if you are more than one person (no like me) is good price, but is a car not a bus so bags can be limited

We booked it for an overnight stay before a flight from the nearby airport. But we found it a delightful place in its own right, with great decor, modern facilities, free food in the room, and a continental breakfast.

Although it is technically on the Tyrrhenian Sea and near the Lido, walking around only brings you to a cement fishing port, industrial areas, and working class homes and shopping. Nice but not tourist stuff. You will want taxis to explore the area or a trip into Rome.

Room itself was bigger than a thought, with access to the balcony. Various pastries and the possibility of making tea were placed in the room. Fruit at the breakfast.

Check in was a bit strange. As the flight was delayed, I arrived an hour later than planned. I had to wait about 10 minutes behind the gate for the door to be opened. I understand that it is not 24/7 accommodation, but check in could be smoother. Breakfast consisted mainly of sweet pastries, cakes. At breakfast, you could also offer something salty for those who don't want to start the morning with something sweet.

Since a few years we always chose to stay in Fiumicino town in between flights. I would defintely recommend this place: the rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is provided, and there´s a private parking place. For hot days, there´s also AC. We also had the pleasure to meet the owners at breakfast, have a friendly conversation and pet their cute poodle.

We were only staying overnight between flights in and then out of Rome. The host was very communicative, and helped us with getting to/from the hotel. The hotel has a quaint and charming atmosphere, the breakfast cappuccino and croissants and fruits were lovely, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the bathroom sparkled, and we are looking forward to returning for a second night again between flights.

We liked everything!

The property has 6 quaint rooms and is located a few minutes from FCO airport- perfect for next day travel accommodation. The owner was a charming host and made cappuccinos in the morning for our group as well as fresh baked goodies for breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable - nothing extravagant - but provided all of the amenities needed. Several good restaurants are located just steps away.
