The room was spacious, very convenient location for my purposes, really friendly staff, luggage storage, free tea was great in winter.

There was a weird noise in the room I could not identify, it was very disruptive at night. Something like running water, but it was not heard in the bathroom, just in the room. I guess it was coming from behind the wall. Also, that tiny fridge was very noisy! If I hadn't had earplugs it would have been impossible to sleep there. Also, the plastic parts of the shower door were all mouldy and disgusting, although everything else in the bathroom seemed very clean.

Everything was fine, as a vegan I only missed a bit more vegetable choices for breakfast. There was nothing above soy milk and cereal. Some non diary spread, or grilled or ad least fresh veggies (like bell paper, cucumbers, mushroom, carrots ...) would be very welcomed. Above that everything was great. Stuff is very kind and helpful if you need anything. Location is great, just across the street of bus and train station. Train and buss connections are very convenient for good prices. Historical part of town is inside walking area, so is Galata Maritime museum and some other ... we had a great time there.

Very modern room on 6th floor. The bed linens and pillows were great quality which felt heavenly after traveling. Breakfast was good. Hotel could not be closer to the main train station, we went to the exit and you could see it across the street.

Only cons for us was in the evening that were a series of popping sounds like maybe in the wall that would last intermittently until later evening but not during the night. The kitchenette did not have a towel or dish detergent which would be great for only 1-2 night stays.

This is a great location if you're trying to be close to the train station because it is literally right across the street. They have a little store in the lobby, with snacks, dinners, and alcohol. I discovered on this trip that in Italy they can't run AC in public buildings from Oct thru March. So when it was hot outside it was hot in the room. However, Francisco the guy working the front desk not only found me a giant fan to help with the heat but brought me a complimentary beer as well. The staff is fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Location was quite excellent, the view was amazing, overlooking the city. Very easy to get to places, metro quite close, train station right across the street. Showers were excellent

Breakfast didn't have good variety and quality of items was subpar. Things at breakfast ran out quickly. The room was very large, but felt very empty - the TV was too far to properly see etc. Quite a noisy area, minimal sound isolation, so you could hear almost everything, as other reviews said.

The hotel is in a perfect location near the center. The staff is kind. The rooms are normal and clean. The bathroom is spacious and clean.

Negatives: too noisy at night from outside. The elevator is antique, and if the previous guest hasn’t closed the inner doors, then other guests from different floors can’t use it, so we had to carry our suitcases down the stairs. The parking is expensive and doesn’t match the price described. Despite the given receipt, we paid 27 euros for 12 hours instead of 11 euros! The parking is across the street under the station, meaning guests need to enter it before the left turn to the hotel. The night lamps are sharp and at head level, so one needs to be careful not to make sudden movements. The beds are flimsy

We stayed in the B&B Hotel Genova for one night before our start of our cruise and for that the hotel was perfect as it is located just across the railway station and the cruise terminal can be easily reached by foot, even with luggage. Hint: don't follow the Via Andrea Doria to get to the cruise terminal (too many cobbled stones, not good with rolling suitcases), instead take the small road behind the hotel (Salita S. Giovanni) to get down to the main street and then across to the cruise terminal - no cobbled stones and no stairs. The old down town for some stroll and eating can be reached by foot in 10 to 20 mins. Friendly staff.

Basically none: location is good, rooms are clean and in good shape - all what you need for a one night stay. Small detail, however: in the basement behind the reception the hotel offers a corner with a electric kettle where you can prepare some tea, but strangely they have no water there: you have to bring the water yourself (hint: there is a small corner shop a bit down in the Salita S. Giovanna where you can buy drinks, water etc. at reasonable prices, but I was told in Genova you could also drink the water from the water tap).

The location just in front of the train station was very convenient. The room was large, very comfortable and the view over the city and the port was incredible. The staff was very friendly, the check in process easy. Overall great value for money!

The apartment had a kitchen, but there were no utensils, cups/plates or even a kettle. (We were staying only for one night and didn’t need them but for a longer stay it would be great to add these items)

It was an old style hotel with a basic reception. They had two lifts, one in the old cage style. There was an area to make tea and get coffee, which was basic but useful. The room was oversized, and they gave us a complementary upgrade. The breakfast room was in the basement, but bright. We could get many gluten free options. Not far was a laundry old but good.

The lifts were a little cramped. There were large glass French doors that opened to a view of the main station. They were not practical to open as the street noise was pretty bad.

We were extremely satisfied with our apartment that was new and well furbished. We had a nice view, a glimpse of the sea and city and close proximity to the train station. The staff is super nice, helpful and well prepared to help guests have a great time. They offer an overall excellent experience with the room, service and breakfast as well. I couldn’t have had a better time at a hotel, absolute 10 point!
