Its exactly how described: a decent hotel, right in front of Principe Train Station with good sized single room, extremely clean (and they cleaned every day I was there), smiley and welcoming 24h staff (even though they don't all speak english, one will manage perfectly). I had breakfast a few mornings and it was plentyfull, with many sweet and savoury choices and great coffee. All in all, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great value to money hotel, next to main train station and I will stay again here next time.

Location perfect for travel on the train and bus to and from the airport. Near to the port also. My stay was perfect for me, after reading previous reviews yes it is old but thats its character and how they keep the price so reasonable. There was no smell as previous reviews had said and I found the staff very helpful. The breakfast was good plenty choice for a continental breakfast and the pastries were delicious

Nothing great value for money

Well positioned, very polite staff, clean, simple, cute, working old fashion elevators. Reasonable breakfast. View is nice. Beds are comfortable (and don’t have to be super soft), shatters are just like on any other building. So there is a chance to experience a little bit of a local life without complaining “it’s too dark”

I would add more fruits for breakfast

Great place to stay for a couple nights, especially when you are visiting nearby attractions (cinque terre, portofino). 3 minutes walk from train station. We had a room on 4th floor with exceptional view. Cheap breakfast. The lady at the reception desk speaks great english. Since it's near train station the buses are of great frequency and it's easy to get everywhere.

It is rather far from any beaches since the hotel in industrial part of the city (1hour by foot to the nearest beach or 15minutes by bus). It can be loud because of the train station. Breakfasts are rather boring, no warm food of any kind, just bread, jams, cheap ham, cheap cheese, coffee and juices. Rest of the staff at reception desk (besides the lady) is either very rude or can't speak a word in english or both.

Decent budget option for those wanting to stay in Genoa - which I would only recommend as a base to visit Portofino & the Cinque Terre. Right next to main train station. Old style room but spacious & clean with good Air-Con & wifi. Approx 10-12 min walk to heart of Old Town Genoa.

Clean & very close to train station which was handy when arriving & leaving. Also close to many restaurants & the waterfront.

No kettle in my room so couldn’t make a tea or coffee to have in the room. Also the bathroom needs a little table to put your toiletries on, there’s nowhere at all in the bathroom to put stuff. The bathroom was spotless snd huge though the shower was very compact.

Everything was great, room is very close to the station. They made us very comfortable. They gave early check in, they held our luggage after the check out until evening so that we can roam a bit more. I would recommend.

I could hear the sounds of water running in the pipeline through the wall.

Excellent location, just next to Piazza Principe station and great view from hotel terrace. Price was reasonable, also good breakfast was cheap. Even though staff might not speak English, they will use translator.

Quite an old hotel, could use a renovation. Tiny bathroom. Lots of steps and a small, weird elevator. No kettle in the room!

Been before so back again❤️ is location is just perfect and the value too. The staff very helpful and friendly but i like to day that in the all area people are friendly that why i love going there I dont know how is the breakfast because i leave everytime at 5am to get the train to milano Grazie mille again ❤️❤️❤️🥊

great position perfect actually a few steps from piazza principe station and the piazza too the staff or owners not sure are great very friendly and nice and thanks for preparing my room so fast sorry i arrived a bit too early i have slept well really i dont know about the breakfast because i have left at 5 am thanks again to all the staff antonio
