To begin with, the location of the hotel is just wonderful: approximately equal distance to the Gardens of Poseidon and to the center of Forio, an ideal easy walk every day, necessary in order to work off all the croissants and gelato eaten. Upon check-in, the hotel provided us with a room with a sea view, a category higher than we had booked. it was very nice, the room turned out to be wonderful, everything was in working order: air conditioning, refrigerator, and shower cabin. Very beautiful furniture, in a southern style. The whole hotel has a certain old-school atmosphere, and I personally like it. The views from the balconies and terraces are incredible, the sunsets are incredibly beautiful. The lighthouse is on the left, the sunset is on the right, and the Big Dipper is overhead. I personally liked the breakfasts, and I eat something like this at home: eggs, croissants, muffins of two types, cereals of four types, packaged juices, bottled mineral water, which was very good, because they were of high quality. In addition, there was sliced sausage and cheese, and yogurt. As for the coffee, it was brewed by a very nice lady, very polite and friendly, who brought it to the table. All the staff are very friendly, beyond praise. Thank you very much!

Reading recent reviews we were a bit scared, but it is a nice hotel with friendly personal. A renovation would be needed to get back to 4* standard, but staying in other villas around, this one is a very good value for money. Location is perfect both to Foria and Poseidon, with very calm outside, no noise from main roads as on many others. We enjoyed thermal pools, both inside and outside. Breakfast offered a rich choice with perfect cappuccino. A lot of small details remind on history of this resort.

We understand how difficult and costly it should be to keep everything perfect and ready to use - and it would be reflected in the price. So no access to winery, jacuzzi or sauna was a reasonable trade off.

The location of the hotel is fabulous, it is in walking distance to Forio and a few really good beaches. The staff went above and beyond, they were very helpful in arranging transfers, taxis for days out and even reserved us a table at U’Paravis so that we could have drinks and watch the sunset! On our first day when we arrived, they set a big table and arranged lunch for us overlooking the pool which was just what we needed after our long journey! Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The hotel may need a few renovations, however we loved the rustic Italian charm of the place, it is such a beautiful hotel! Our air conditioning worked well, we had an amazing panoramic balcony in our room and comfy beds. Honestly no complaints there at all. We really loved the pools, the big pool was shallow enough that my 5 year old could stand up and this helped massively to build his confidence in swimming. They also allowed him to take small inflatables in and a ball while we tried not to disturb the other guests. This is honestly a hidden gem and we had such a relaxing stay here.

The only negative that I can think of is that I wished they offered food in the evening as well as lunch time. Some days we didn’t want to go out for dinner and it would have been nice to stay and eat at the hotel. However there are lots of restaurants very close by so not a huge issue.

Walking distance from the beach and restaurants, a bit hidden but very pleasant, the hotel is neat and cute.

The hairdryer was very old and they didn't had an ironing

Amazing sea view, clean hotel, vintage style of the hotel, location. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Rooms were nicely cleaned every day. AC was very useful in the room.

No AC or fans in common areas, no WiFi connection, no elevator, limited fruits and no vegetable served for breakfast, staff speaks little of English.

Is an very old hotel.lt need refurbished totaly.

In the ad it said they have a shuttle and when asked they said the van was broke down before booking they should disclose that .I have lupus and getting to the beach was a lot of walking.

The faculty needs updated .This place needs updated .They bar was not equipment for drinks .They have no spa services which they advertise:They need to update their page.

The structure is a bit aged needs some refurbishment, however some times is good to go back ‘to the origin’!

We liked how the property offered scenic views of Ischia, and was conveniently located close to a beach and public transportation. It was a cheap option for us which was desirable during our two week visit to Italy.

Unfortunately during our stay there were a number of things that we found disappointing. When we checked in there was no information offered to us about breakfast times/pool closing times/location attractions and this was not for a lack of staff being able to speak English. This information is something you would expect to receive from hotel staff during peak holiday season. We felt a little unwelcome at the property as during our stay my partner went to get a coffee in the morning and was ignored in the line while the staff served other native speakers around him instead until another guest pointed out that he had been waiting ahead of them for some time. We also looked forward to using the thermal spa facilities which were closed and have been closed for months, and was not advertised before we booked. The pool was also not regularly cleaned and had a substantial amount of dirt and debris within. We decided to check out early of this destination as we felt that even though it was value for money we were misled with the booking and also felt unwanted by those running the establishment. We would like to note that the cleaning staff, who had very little English in comparison to other staff members, were very kind. This property has great potential and could be revived going forward with a little bit of love.
