High enough to get a great view. Not too high to make the road from the sea uncomfortable. Close to Giardini Poseidon Terme. Keep in mind that the nearest free beach is quite small. Conveniently, there is both an outdoor and a warm indoor pool, although not very large. Quite well-equipped kitchen. Clean air. The main road is close but the noise from it did not bother us. Less than 5 minutes to the bus stop, from where you can easily get to any point on the island. Next to the stop is a good pizzeria for takeaway. There are grocery stores nearby, but for a better selection it is better to go to the center of Forio (10 minutes by bus, 25 minutes on foot). In the large hotel nearby, several times a week, music plays in the evening until 23:00. For us, this was a plus, but perhaps not everyone will like it.

When we were given swimming caps, we were not told that they are not included in the price of the room. We only found out about this when we received a bill for 3 euros each at check-out. Mosquitoes. But they are typical for the whole island. Be sure to stock up on repellents and anti-itch products. Some things in the hotel are relatively old, but generally in good condition.

The kitchen was falling apart. massive crack in the kitchen counter that had been halve filled up with silicon. Kitchen cabinets were all old and in need of some maintenance. But we didn't pay much and everything was clean. So It was good. At the payment they added the tourist tax which on booking was advertised as being included. Since we only stayed one night. We paid it extra. When we booked, we had breakfast included. But that option didn't exist on arrival. so we went to supermarket close by and got some breakfast things. We did get 1 coffee on the house at the check out. For the price everything was good enough.

Very nice place for accessing the Gardens of Poseidon. Great view of the sea. Nice staff, which is doing their best to communicate with you in English (they don't speak well). Greatly equipped kitchen: fridge, plates, cups, stove, wine opener and cleaning stuff for the dishes. No sharp knife thoug. Just the knife for butter/bread. Very nice breakfast. Special device as a mosquito repellent. Well done.

The first day we had several (small) ants in our room and bathroom. This is probably hard to prevent. The water from the flushing cartrige of the toilet was constantly slowly leaking. So the toilet was always refilling the cartridge again and again. I hope this is fixable. But it did not cause any harm to the functionality. So we were fine and did not complain. The breakfast is strictly from 8:30 to 10:00 - not possible to move it earlier even during a week day. This might be a problem for you if you need to catch a boat from Forio departing 9:15.

The view from our apartment was spectacular. The gardens are lovely with lemon and lime trees around. Annalaura was so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were lovely - the best croissants we’ve ever had. We really enjoyed the indoor warm spa pool and the outdoor swimming pool - a wonderful holiday - would really recommend.

My boys weren’t sure about having to wear a swimming cap but they soon got used to it.

My expectations weren't too high after reading other guests' reviews, I only booked it because there weren't any other properties with swimming pools left in the area. However I was pleasantly surprised to find the property was actually very pretty and very well maintained and the rooms were clean. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

The children weren't blown away by the fact you had to wear swimming hats in the pool but they survived.

We enjoyed very much the indoor heated pool during winter time. There is a trampoline for the kids and the surrounding is decorated with lemon and mandarin trees etc. The room is spacious with essentials and also a terrace. Owner is very friendly and welcoming, even brought to us some orange and fresh eggs from their home chickens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were amazed. The hotel was good value for money. Kids could play outside. Outdoor pool was cold in may but we enjoyed the indoor pool. Staff gave us chicken eggs from their chicks. Very close to the bus station that will take you anywhere around the island. Breakfast was fine but we liked the possibility to cook for our kids.

We booked a spacious apartment with sun-set view, surrounded by a garden. The facility was satisfying with kitchen, dining room, bathroom (shower) and sleeping room. Both dining room and kitchen were output to a terrace with sea view. Beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped, unfortunately no essentials like an oil, sugar, salt, washing soap or sponge available, had to all buy for a pennies. Bus stop (CS, CD, N1) is situated 1 minute walking distance, MD supermarket is 3 stops far. The apartment has been situated very convenient for us, with 5 minutes walk to a public beach. There are two pools available, outside pool was quite cold in March, inside pool is temperature controlled, however not thermal, but has whirlpool and stream features. Facility provides daily cleaning, we were extremally satisfied how the room were cleaned. Thank you Francesco and his wife for a splendid hospitality during our 1 week stay at Ischia.

Beautiful family run Aparthotel it was great having the fresh towels room clean daily as well as being able to prepare a snack /tea in kitchenette , comfy beds large room much more room than hotels and balcony. Lovely staff the pool was so tranquil , bus stop near

The location is great. Near to the bus station ( 2 min walk) beach Cava dell Isola and Citara ( max 10 min walk) there is also a market and great Poseidon Terme. When you book make shore you book the apartment with view you wont be sorry.
