Hotel Corallo was the perfect base for our visit to La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to both the marina and the train station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of delicious options. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were traveling with a baby, and the level of care and attention we received made all the difference. La Spezia itself is a great place to stay when visiting Cinque Terre. We explored the villages over two days, and even with a train strike on one of them, we were able to enjoy a scenic boat ride that was slower-paced but just as enjoyable. We would absolutely choose to stay at Hotel Corallo again, thanks to the hospitality and warmth of the team, it felt like a home away from home.

This hotel have a good situation, close to the station La Spezia Centrale, the train is easy to take to Cinqueterre, Portovenere or Pisa! The personal was really kind and always helpful. The room was clean and the bed was also good. We don’t have too much noise from the street. The breakfast was varied and good. I also appreciated than people tried to speak in French even if I could speak in English!

We can hear other rooms maybe a bit too much, like we were wake up once by the shower from the room next to us but it’s only the bad point I would say.

The staff was extremely friendly and for example hinted a cheaper parking slot in front of the hotel that I had missed vs. their own carage. Hotel was easy to access with car and was in ok location for our purpose (just to stay overnight before venturing to Cinque Terre next day). Breakfast wasn't exactly plentiful but adequate for our needs.

We felt bit dissapointed that they didn't have any duvet covers for the thicker blankets. We felt unsure about the hygiene of the blankets as in many countries the blankets themselves are not washed as often. Staff did their best to try to find the duvet covers but in the end didn't find them.

We really liked the location of the hotel - it was close to the port and easy to get to from the train station. The staff was nice, breakfasts were great. We could also store our luggage when checking out. La Spezia was a good place to explore Cinque Terre and we would come back again.

There was no lock in our room, the door had a standard door handle from the outside - this didn't feel very comfortable. The room also didn't have a safe box. We would appreciate a better hair dryer.

- Great location in the city of La Spezia. Easy access to most main transports by walk. 5min to the port. 15min to the main pedestrian street with all restaurants/shops, and 25min to the train station for Cinque Terre. - Lovely staff always helpful and friendly. Our daughter really liked their company. :-) - Breakfast was good with a lot of various food. - Covered and secured parking for your car with valet. - Furnitures in the room were OK and A/C was working well. - Great room service that cleans the room perfectly everyday. - We had courtyard window view, so it was very quiet. - Clean bathroom big enough for two persons.

- Parking with pretty small spaces. If you have a big car it can be difficult to turn. - Bedroom looked smaller than I thought from the picture. - No elevator. - Walls were not well isolated from noise.

Lovely staff, always greeted with a smile. Room was great with a comfortable bed. Hotel was situated near the marina and shopping area. 5 mins by taxi to railway station or a 15min walk.

Central location with some good restaurants in the area. Short walking distance to the waterfront area; generously sized room with small fridge; good water pressure in the shower. Small but well focused breakfast selection with a good range of buffet items: pastries, bread, yogurt, cereals, etc.

It's quite a walk to either of the train stations (but that is of course not the hotel's fault, rather our selection of location!). Parking is 20 Euro per day, but it is off street and we were aware of the cost when we made the reservation.

Hotel Corallo was in a very convenient location for our visit. It was within walking distance of the marina to access the ferry,also close to restaurants & historical sites.Parking garage was a bonus.I just wish there was a elevator.

Lugging our 3 suitcases up multiple sets of stairs was not ideal.

Great hotel, we enjoyed our two night stay. Breakfast is from 7am and is a good selection of foods (basic but good). Hotel is clean and comfy, also modern bathrooms.

Just the location, it’s just a bit further over than I would’ve liked. Certainly still walking distance but just out of the city really.

People at reception were extremely helpful can speak different languages. B''fast is good and even atmosphere. Very clean.

Although they are situated in the first floor, they have no lift but still they will help you to carry the language.
