The location was good, very close to bus stops that take you to the two different La Spezia Central station where you can take the Cinque Terre train. I loved that there was a smart tv with Netflix and there’s a really good pizza restaurant right across the street as well as a mini market a block away. It’s an older building but the value is worth it for what you pay! I would definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a night or two to see the La Spezia/Cinque Terre areas. Very small detail but the shower pressure was really good so that was nice!

The upstairs neighbors were very very loud late at night and it was difficult to sleep. Also the lights in the halfway turn off if it doesn’t detect movement so a lot of the times the hallway was pitch black. I would suggest the hotel to change the light system so that there can be more luminance in the hallways especially since the bathrooms are outside of the room.

Breakfast was €5 but had a wide variety of options (mostly pastries). The room was big and felt secure. Very nice pizza restaurant opposite. Lots of sockets, aircon, fridge etc however having now stayed in several places this might be standard (these were still upper end of these places). Room was easy to keep cool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating letting us check in late due to a train strike and tricky transport. The room came with 2 complementary bottles of water which might not sound like much but was very appreciated. All questions were answered, the beds were very comfortable and the washing facilities were fairly good.

There were only 2 issues with this hotel but they aren't major. First is it was difficult to find as there is lots of building work being done to it and so the scaffolding made the sign difficult to find and so know that this was indeed the correct place. Secondly 2 silverfish were found in the bathroom but were quickly and easily disposed of.

The Nautilus Hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The rooms and amenities are basic, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located (the train station is easily accessible by bus) - and the hotel manager was wonderful! My friend and I had trouble finding a taxi the day we left, and she and her husband were so kind in helping us. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable home base from which to explore the Cinque Terre.

Our stay to the hotel was fantastic. the woman in the reception was very kind and helpful. the room was so clean and with nice and comfortable beds. the location was great for exploring la spezia and of course a visit to cinque terre.

Very clean and tidy room with a good shower. Rosanna very helpful. Fridge in the room and air conditioning were very welcome during the heatwave. Breakfast good. Don't be put off by the location as it's quiet and just a short walk into the pretty part of La Spezia

The hotel exterior is undergoing renovation and is covered in scaffolding which detracted from the view from our small balcony!

The staff provided exceptional service and warm hospitality. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with amenities like a kettle, an assortment of tea bags, biscuits, a convenient hairdryer, a functional sink, and a shower. I opted for a room without a bathroom, and to my pleasant surprise, the adjacent room was the bathroom, making it a seamless and comfortable experience.

Comfortable hotel with a lot of Italian charm. The hostess is really pleasant and helpful. Ideal location in the center of La Spezia. Really clean room, with every day maintenance and changing towels.

Parking place is hard to find and it is also payable all around the facility, but you can find free parking few streets away (white marked).

This is a nice property in La Spezia. It’s not too far from the central station. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay.

Our room was clean, spacious and cosy, much nicer than we expected considering we opted for a budget accommodation. Staff was friendly and we managed to check-in quite late (22:30). Nice spacious bathroom, good air conditioning and complementary water/tea with the option of using the minifridge to cool our own drinks. Perfect stay if you are planning to visit La Spezia or surrounding villages.

No complaints at all, the accommodation was more than we hoped for!

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The Hotel is situated close to the station in order to catch a train to Cinque Terra. Its a great location for a 1 or 2 night stay.
