The view from the restaurant and the room was absolutely stunning with a 180 degree panoramic view to the lake below and the surrounding mountains around Lugano. Also, the food in the restaurant was amazing.

We are a family of 4 (kids are 12 and 16) and the bunk bed was a bit too short for my 16 year old, so my wife had to sleep in the bunk bed. It not clear on the booking site that the bunk bed was only about 180cm long. Also, we booked this place with the intention to charge our electric car. However, I could not get the associated app (Repower) to register me as a user, so it never worked.

The staff is wonderful and welcoming even those who don't speak English tried their best to translate. I want to thank them for the wonderful stay. The view is mesmerising whether it is raining or shining. The Swiss border is less than 10 minutes away where you can drive to Logano Town which is great too. The hotel itself is not big but has a great vibe with the restaurant at the first floor and rooms at the second. The restaurant has great food and with reasonable prices. The hotel is not luxurious by any means, but better than that you can feel the italian charm and soak in the beauty of lugano lake.

The air-conditioning did not work well, but the weather was nice so it was ok. The road to the hotel is a bit difficult but i thought it adds to the charm. You need to have a car though to get to the hotel.

My second time at this hotel and upgraded to a lake view room this time, which is well worth the extra money. The views of Lake Lugano are stunning. Yes, you can get the views from the terrace, but it’s nice to wake up to the incredible scenery and take it all in on your balcony. The food in the restaurant is superb, and not over-priced. The staff are helpful and friendly and the overall experience was fantastic.

We had a double bed and a single. The double bed was very comfortable but the single bed had a very firm/hard mattress with little comfort.

Amazing location, our room was one with the view on the Lugano lake. Room was clean and comfy and with a nice balcony to enjoy some evening breeze and relaxing with a view. Staff was very welcoming and attentive to our needs (we were travelling with a toddler and a baby). We also tried the restaurant and found the menu pretty appealing, vast choice of appetizers, pizzas and wines. Also there the staff was super friendly and playful with our kids so we were able to enjoy even more :)

Breakfast could be improved, there is enough choice but I could not find any non-dairy milk. I would try to have more home-made food for example pies or local cakes/sweets, home-made jams, etc.

The staff was an absolute delight. They were very friendly and always ready to help you out. The view from our room was amazing as well, very nice to wake up to and to go to sleep with. The pool, bed, and shower were all great.

The room was a bit dusty. My dog travelled with us and she has some allergies to dust, so that wasn't optimal. Clean enough for a normal stay though!

First -- this is a GREAT place to bring dogs; there is a trail from the hotel up a local wooded hill that my very nervous dogs find restful and, well, useful, which is rare for them on trips. The room is wonderful, balcony and restaurant views spectacular. Comfy and quiet, very snug.

With that quiet woodsy ambience and spectacular view comes this cost: the hill up to the hotel is not for the faint-hearted rookie. It's safe if you take it slow, but locals do not. The beverage at the end of your trip is well-earned.

View from room amazing, truly magical. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Even dropped us off at nearby places (we didnt have a car - something we would do next time). Restuarant food brilliant. Always freshly cooked. Excellent service. Loved the roof-top pool - just perfect.

They had everything you needed right there at the hotel, all with amazing views! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, very much like family. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant had great food and breakfast was excellent and included! You could go get a bottle of wine for your room from their cellar anytime of day. Would absolutely go back!

Incredible view on the west side of the Lugano Lake. Always available friendly staff for the hotel and for the lively (but not noisy) restaurant. Incredible pizzas. I really enjoyed the swimming pool. Small village nearby.

Not very frequent public transport connections. Hiking in the neighborhood is a bit challenging (steep slopes)

Beautiful hotel with real beautiful view of the Lugano lake. We booked the room with a lake view and were not dissappointed, The room was big and comfortable and the balcony was bigger than expected. But the real treat were the employees - seems like they realy enjoy what they are doing. The lady at the reception, I think her name was Rossalva, was kind and helpful with recomendations. The restaurant's stuff - Roberta, Abdel Jaber and Chef Moustafa (sorry if I mispelled) went out of their way for my sister and I to be happy.

We needed to go to our car after 11pm and couldn't find the way out since the reception was already closed. We were also surprised to find out there was a construction site just in front of our room - it didn't disturb the view of the lake but still, they started working at about 9 am, making noise. I would have liked to know about this before making the booking. Breakfast could have been better (not much choice of vegetables and fruit and no toaster to toast the bread).
