This is a B&B that the owners live in so they are there to check you in whenever you arrive. The room is large and well furnished, with a large clean bathroom and a great shower. Everything is immaculate. There is a large common room with snacks, a coffee machine and an eating area. It is located in a very quiet place. There is a very good restaurant a few blocks away called Osteria San Martino. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. (Turn right when you leave the station.) There is a map across the street from the station that shows the exact location of the B&B.

There was nothing I was dissatisfied with.

After spending the last four months in Southeast Asia, this B&B was the perfect quiet place to stay for three nights to reset. The house is super clean, and you have access to a kitchen. There is a grocery store 15 minutes walk away, a self-service laundry mat 7 minutes away, and a nice restaurant in town. The owners are very nice; it's the perfect place to stay when coming in and out of Milan airport. Just a tip on getting there - yes, they offer a shuttle, but I arrived at a weird time, so to get a taxi, follow the signs for the "train" at the airport, outside of the train station, where the local taxis are. The other taxis outside the departure area are for rides into Milan. The taxis take credit cards and have a meter fare.

Out of the three hotels I stayed at in Milan, Il Gelsomino Bed and Breakfast truly stood out. The comfort and cleanliness of the place far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and tastefully decorated, making my stay very pleasant. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, even taking the time to recommend some great local restaurants nearby, which added a lot to our experience. A big plus: they offer an airport shuttle service, cheaper than a taxi, which is super convenient. Above all, the courtesy and hospitality of the hosts left a lasting positive impression. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan!

Love the kitchen facilities, balcony, breakfast items and peaceful nature of the property. So convenient for a location just one stop on the train to the airport. A short walk from the train station. Staff are friendly. We've stayed here before and would stay here again when flying from Milan. Good value for money based on other offerings in the area.

The dogs in the yard were quite scary. They were put away before we entered the yard and kept away the whole time but it wasn't the nicest welcome. Also, as I think I said last time I reviewed this property, the bedding makes a lot of sparks and static and changing it to cotton or natural fibres would be a lot less sweaty and a lot more comfortable.

Second time at this property and the high level remains. Extremely clean, all amenities available, good snacks and coffee at the kitchen. Staff very friendly and kind. Rosario is a nice guy that is very responsive and help you with everything, including transfers from/to Malpensa airport. If you need a place for a short stay close to Malpensa airport that's definitely the place. Also if you are hiring a campervan at Indie Campers and need a place to stay before or after your trip this is the one as it's very close.

The bed (or at least the mattress) can be renewed. It's ok for sleeping but could be better.

Beautiful place, large room & bathroom, nice shared lounge, everything spotlessly clean. Check in and check out was completely smooth and easy. Overall an excellent place to stay the night.

This is a very personal preference, but for me, the bed wasn’t comfortable. The pillow was too high and the sheets had some kind of nice scent on them which smelled good but bothered me when I was trying to sleep. I would kindly recommend leaving the sheets unperfumed, for the comfort of the small number of people like me who are sensitive. Thank you for your consideration!

Absolutely nothing to complain

A lovely and quiet town. It's the closest to the airport. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The staff speaks excellent English. They provided all the information about the stay and recommended places for dinner, etc. The room is excellent, cozy, and clean. The air conditioner works. The windows overlook the garden. Everything is done with love and care for the guests. The room has everything you need, including water, juices, and cookies. The common area has coffee and drinks. It was nice to stay in such a place. The only small drawback is the good sound transmission through the door from the common area. But there were guests only in the neighboring room with me. So everyone slept well. Thank you! I liked everything. I didn't expect such excellent living conditions in such a small town.

Very clean accommodation with a spacious communal area. Good sized bedroom with private bathroom where shower gel was provided. Great proximity to the airport for our early morning flight. Juice, milk and pain au chocolat provided in the bedroom for a quick breakfast (or bedtime snack) if needed plus extra biscuits and jams provided in the communal kitchen area.

One of the light switches in the communal area was for the entrance way inside of our room and another guest seemed to particularly like using this switch at night time! =^D It may be worth labelling the switches in the communal area. The air conditioner wasn't working during our stay on a particularly hot day but I believe this was to do with the recent rainstorms that had happened so not really the property owners fault.

Excellent location for the airport. Just a 15 minute walk from the train station and just one stop from that station to the airport. They also offer airport transfer for a good price. Nice big kitchen communal area to have breakfast or sir and relax. Room was large, clean and had everything you could need. Plenty of shops, bakeries and restaurants nearby.

The bed and sheets weren't as comfortable as we liked (would have been better if the sheets were cotton - they were synthetic) but this is our preference. Bed had a bit of a curve. Some milk provided for the coffee would have been great.
