The shuttle bus was convenient. My room was spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast was better than I expected. The receptionist said I could look at buffet and decide if I'd like to eat there or not. For 10 euro, it was very good value. Choice of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, good selection of savoury cold cuts, cheeses, lot of cakes/tarts to choose from too.

Air-conditioning is centralised so I couldn't turn it on in my room. If I had known the restaurant at the hotel was not operating I would have bought food for dinner from the airport before arriving at hotel. I had chosen this hotel mostly because of restaurant on site. Arriving in late afternoon it would have been convenient to have eaten on site. However the recommended restaurant was very good.

Very good location. 5 mins from Malpensa airport. The facility was clean. Our room was outdated but our family members’ room is slightly better. Most of the staffs were amazing! The check in staffs were extremely helpful and great. The only one that’s a bit grumpy was the morning front desk guy. Understandably so, we had to leave at 3 am for our early morning flight and he had to also drive us to the airport. He didn’t look too happy. Shuttle is NOT free, we paid premium hour price for it so I didn’t expect the grumpiness. With that said, this is a very good value for a night stay if you need to be near the airport. Will not hesitate to recommend it!

Room is very nice, bed is comfy. Best surprise was the restaurant of hotel, that is located in -1 floor (no windows) but food was 100% Haute Cuisine. Small village around hotel has couple of other restaurants too. Hotel offers shuttle bus from/to airport, that is 10 minute of driving.

It does not depend on hotel, but by map it looked like walking distance from airport Terminal 1, but actually there is no pedestrian road (or we did not discover it; and it would take 45-55 minutes of walk). So you are forced to take airport shuttle (Case Nuove stop is 10 minutes of walk to hotel) or hotel-provided shuttle bus (most convenient, but needs to be booked).

Location to the airport was great, but no restaurants in the area. One restaurant recommended was closing for lunch, and opened again at 7pm. My flight was early morning, so it was not ideal for late dinner. It's best to eat something before arriving at hotel, unless you are ok with 7pm opening. Besides this one restaurant, there was nothing else. We ended up going back to Terminal 1 to eat at the Food court. They are rated 4 stars, but underwhelmed as a 4 star. The hotel staff waived one trip, so it all worked out.

Update March 2025 I got a newly renovated room in 1st floor. Room was different from review I saw here especially in bathroom. Bathroom walls are made by vanishing gypsum board. All new sanitary ware there. Only rain shower look weird a bit, it was hung on the wall literally, but it works well. Great service from shuttle bus driver and reception.

At first time, I was happy when I saw smart TV with Netflix on remote. However, all applications in TV didn't work because internet connection. I texted to staff and the answer is "internet in TV is not allowed". So you put smart tv for what? And room was half clean half dusty.

Staff were really helpful and pleasant and professional. We had some people in the next room who were arguing, even although the hotel is quiet and has heavily insulated walls and doors we could really hear it loudly. I explained at reception and it was dealt with by the staff immediately in a professional manner. I am sure if they could not resolve then one of us would have been moved. Room was clean and comfortable and a really good size (We had to repack 5 cases after final day skiing on family holiday and had plenty of room to do that in one of the rooms) . Good coffee maker

We had a great stay at First Hotel Malpensa! The location is excellent for those traveling through Malpensa Airport, as it’s very close and convenient. The shuttle service was efficient and made our transfer stress-free. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was varied and delicious, offering a good selection to start the day right. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodation near the airport.

The only small drawback was the slightly limited dining options in the immediate vicinity, but the hotel’s restaurant provided a decent meal.

This accomodation is really a good experience. Everything is created and organized in a very wise, modern, elegant, functional and cozy way. Location is perfect beacuse offers easy transport to both of Malpensa airport terminals, and especially to those who have a late coming or early flight. First time I discovered this accomodation by pure coincidence but if they preserve this prices ratio it will remain my first choice whenever I have chained flights over Malpensa airport and have no spare time to visit the city of Milano.

They offer shuttle to pick you up and from the airport with only 5euro each way (24hrs service..after midnight 10€) which is more than reasonable and convenient. Both shuttle driver very very friendly and helpful...helped us with the luggage and show/bring it to our room 314. The a 5€ Tip was worth for him....many hanks again for all of your efforts for providing such great experience. Room clean and we hear nothing this side from airport. Excellent shuttle service to hotel and a lovely welcome at reception. Quickly shown through to our room, which was spacious and very comfortable. Considering its close proximity to the airport, it was very quiet, and we had an undisturbed sleep. Bright and spacious bathroom. A reasonable breakfast selection, and was adequate for our needs. We didn't get a chance to sample other mealtimes, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, there was no food available on the day we arrived (Monday), only a small selection of sandwiches. It was 17.15, and we hadn't eaten since lunchtime. There's very few places to get food nearby. This was the only letdown for us.
