First of all, the location where its located is absolutely beautiful. You drive towards the property and its a panoramic from a movie, truly breath-taking. Secondly, the property is very near Lucca city centre, but itself is located far enough to also enjoy the nature around it. So its perfect if you want to visit Lucca and the cities around it for a couple of days. We stayed these for 10 days, because we were remotely working from there. The owner Andrea helped me with loads of things, any question or comment he was always there too help me. After 10 days I can say that Andrea and I created a special bond, and every time I will think about Lucca, I will also think about this property and its owner. I will always advice people to book this place if they ever mention Lucca.

Well, if I have to say one little thing...its probably the road to the property. Even though the view is beautiful, it has huge holes, and if you have a small car you will have some dodging to do then. However, I think Andrea will have probably already fixed it by now so no worries!

We had a family reunion comprising 17 adults and 4 children ages 4 months to 4 years old. Having such clean apartments with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms within the same building was fantastic! The location also could not have been better. Downtown Lucca was a 10-15 minute car ride. Yet, the property was way off the main road so it was safe for the children and very quiet. On the main road, where we turned onto the drive to the property, there was a bar/gelateria, open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. We loved the short walk for morning coffees and brioche or afternoon treats! The road to the property was full of potholes, but it made cars go slowly. Being at the end of the drive, the property had plenty of grassy areas for the children to play. There were even a few small play structures in the yard. The view and pool area were just lovely. While the pool was not heated and it wasn’t really hot (weekend of May 9th), a few intrepid family members enjoyed the cold water. Our family also took advantage of the outdoor tables and chairs to relax and share drinks, snacks and catch up. We also had a great barbecue lunch all together. Our host Andrea was very kind and even let my sister’s family into their apt a night early at no extra charge. He had some excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. In short, this was an excellent choice for our family reunion and we will all remember it for years to come. We hired a local photographer and have great outdoor photos of the family.

We were fortunate that the weather cooperated for our reunion. Since the apartments do not have separate living rooms or a large indoor gathering space, we stayed together outside as much as possible. FYI - the smaller apartments did not have regular ovens, but they did have microwaves and cooktops.

The location was good if you have a car - just outside of Lucca. very quiet, rural spot. Perfect for getting to Florence and the coast by car or train from Lucca. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive with fairly frequent buses into Lucca. There is also a lovely bar/cafe at the end of the drive, La Perla. The apartment was clean, nice towels, no air con. The apartment had lovely big bedrooms and bathrooms. We didn’t use the pool or outside areas as the weather wasn’t brilliant.

The living space was small. We were there for a week and there was a dining table and chairs but only 2 small “easy” chairs. There was no oven, grill or toaster in the kitchen and the plastic wine glasses were a real disappointment.

The property was so clean and had everything we needed. A perfect location and great facilities both outside with the pool area and table and in the rooms. The rooms were modern and beds were so comfortable. The villa itself is beautiful. There is a great cafe and bar a 5 minute walk away and restaurants down the road, it’s also very close to the main highways enabling you to get pretty much anywhere in good time. The host was incredibly welcoming as were all of the staff and the cats on site! I would highly recommend this property and will no doubt book again. Thank you so much!

There is nothing not to like.

The property was everything we could have hoped for, and more. A quiet respite from the bustle of the tourist attractions, with plenty of space to spread out and all the comforts of home. We enjoyed strolling the grounds while feeling the breeze, and enjoying the views in every direction. 10 minutes from the town wall of Lucca, which was our favorite part of our 12-day visit to Italy. Several local options for coffee and pastries, and just 30 minutes to the attractions in Pisa. Great kitchen (microwave for cooking), and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Andrea was quick to offer local knowledge on parking, restaurants, etc.

The road to can be a little dusty, but we found several convenient car washes nearby.

The location was beautiful. André the host was most helpful and kind. He was always on call and available to assist us. The air conditioning was fantastic and adjustable in each room. The pool was amazing, huge. The children really enjoyed it. There was a few BBQ's available to use. This was nice to be able to stay around the pool and eat dinner with a glass of wine.

On second floor so had to climb loads of stairs. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. A dishwasher would have been nice 😁

This place was so kid friendly, my 8 and 12 years old children had a blast. They really loved the pool the most. The 3 bedroom apartment we were in was so comfortable,it had a kitchen that had anything you could need. This place felt so comfortable and had all the modern amenities you could ask for. It is also a short walk to an amazing pastry and coffee shop. This was a last minute booking after we had a bad experience at a hotel in Vernazza and this was one of our favorite places we stayed. The owner and his family were very nice too!

The location was perfect to visit places around. The pool was great and well maintained. The apartment was clean and had everything needed in the kitchen. We had issues with the air-conditioning in our first apartment and the first 2 days were difficult for us. Andrea was very helpful to get it fixed and provided us with an alternate apartment. We really appreciate his quick support. The guide provided by Andrea had great tips for exploring places around.

A spacious and very special apartment in its preserved structure and design The staff is approachable and helpful, as well as gave excellent recommendations on restaurants and even made sure to reserve a place for us The owners of the place are very generous. At the entrance, a bottle of excellent wine from their production was waiting for us in the fridge, as well as a gift (cookies from their production) upon our departure. They also allowed us to stay later to make it easier for us. Amazing place and people. Highly recommended

Despite the spacious bathroom, the shower itself is very small. A dispenser to put soap and shampoo on it can help

Andrea was an excellent communicator and was very helpful. Location is superb. Pool was very clean and relaxing A wonderful stay

A few tiny niggles…. Kitchen facilities were very basic. Would have liked an oven. Two coffee machines but espresso pot did not work on induction hob and no coffee inserts or instructions for the other/ counter top machine. Rechargeable light but no charger to recharge. Only small things and am sure if I’d mentioned all the above would have got a positive response as we did with all other queries. If above attended to facilities would rate excellent
