Beautiful traditional Italian house within easy walking distance (ca. 15 minutes) from the historic city center of Lucca, with an incredibly friendly hostess, free coffee, tea, and snacks, a very spatious bathroom, and parking right in front of the house. If you prefer "authentic" to "ritzy" and don't require absolute silence in order to sleep, you can't get better worth for your money.

Very good location, close to the center and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s also dog friendly and there is a parking space on site. Nice breakfast.

It’s a little too pricey, not so comfortable bed.

We had fluent direct communication with the host, she explained us everything very clearly. The accomodation was lovely, a small 15 minute walk from the walled city of Lucca, but this was no problem.

the part where you put the showerhead in a fixed position was too loose so we just had to hold it ourselves. But it wasn't really a problem.

The breakfast vouchers to a fabulous bakery. The little table outside to read at. Don't miss a morning walk by the nearby "modern" aqueduct that isn't in the guidebooks.

The coffee machine disappeared. Nothing else not to like.

Really accommodating, checking us in early when we arrived. Lovely property, great location and short walk to the main town.

No air con, only a fan so did feel quite warm at night. Bed was quite squeaky.

Very safe location, very good provision of teas/coffee and biscuits at the B&B. Very clean room and good communication with host via WhatsApp. Very good Wifi.

Breakfast was in local bar, just a coffee and croissant and no GF provision. Would have been nice to have met our hostess at least once during our 4 night stay. TV did not work in our room.

Coffee and tea were available at all hours in the common room.

Although breakfast was included, we were not told that what this meant was that we could get a coffee and one sweet bun at a café ten minutes walk away.
