The territory was very big, with a few pools, a jacuzzi(which could've been nicer if it was heated😅😀), a restaurant(that had reasonable prices) and a market that had pretty much everything you would need. Staff were friendly and they all spoke english. There was a mini fridge inside the bungalow. The shuttle service to Venice was a very useful service.

Lack of kitchen supplies(such as a kettle, silverware and cups). There was a kettle and microwave in the supermarket, however it would've been pretty inconvienient to use. Also, it would`ve been nice if there were any type of lights in the terrace, that would light up when it gets dark outside.

Location was amazing! Little cottages - super cute, clean and comfy. Accommodation has everything you need, 10+ options per day to take a bus to Venice and back (2.50€ one direction). Pool was great.

Staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. At the restaurant either. If I would have to rate only staff it would be 1. However the accommodation was great, hence its 9.

Absolutely worth a visit. If you are looking for a place with perfect assistance and a cheap place to stay during your visit to Venezia, then I would totally recommend it. They've got everything that you need during your stay and provide excellent service for your needs. Don't hesitate to ask for additional things and services that you may need.

If anything that you should be concerned about is the distance to the nearest places that are worth a visit. Camping is a little bit far from the nearest facilities, and you need to walk at least 20/25 minutes to bus stops in the city. Although there is one bus stop for public transport near the place, it is not that frequent. Also, if anything that you need is to travel to Venezia, then they have a private shuttle that is going to take you there. Not as cheap as public transport, but overall worth it.

It is a lovely and very safe place. You have everything including 2 laundries and a mini market. It is Ideal for families with children. In the evening there is always something organized so for those who would like to stay in the resort there is never a dull moment. The staff are lovely and also very helpful at the reception. There is a shuttle bus that goes to Venice several times during the day and brings you back which is also very cheap. Over all it is a beautiful and harmonious place.

The only thing that I did not like is that they do not change your towels. I had to wash them myself. When I asked the man who was changing the towels to replace ours he said your cabin is not on my list.

I like the concept of Hu villages (I've stayed before in other cities at them). Big room with all that you need at a very good price. The entire campus is well organized and you have a restaurant on site, also a small shop with all kinds of stuff - with supermarket prices. (also if you go when is warm they have multiple outdoor activities around the pool) They have a shuttle bus (2.5EUR) to Venice, but the schedule is not very reliable and you must book it at reception. Still maybe better than the 20 min walk to public bus station. The reception acted very fast to solve the issues we had in the room.

It was pretty late when we arrived and we were kind of tired. We had the bad luck that the access card didn't work to open the door. Also the key from the reception didn't work to open the door and we had to wait a little until the door was fixed. (maybe 10-15 minutes, but since we were tired we didn't really enjoyed the waiting). For some reason our shower didn't start the water heater so in order to have hot water in the shower we had to keep the hot water on at the sink which is in the room while showering (so more humidity in the room and lower water pressure at the shower). Not a dislike, rather something you should be aware off (but I can't put it at liked stuff): The AC can be switched between cold & heating working mode only from reception.

The camping is located in a green residential area that seems very safe and friendly (we walked in and out at various hours, including 10 PM and 4 AM and never felt insecure). The camping staff was very friendly and helped us with infos, maps and details. 24/7 check-out, very good for us. The easiest way (and cheapest) to reach Venezia Piazzalle Roma for us from HU Camping was to walk about 25 minutes (2 km) to Panorama hypermarket (where you can buy all kind of drinks, food, cookies, including cooked ready-to-go food) from where you can travel to Venice by their free shuttle once per hour (they said you have to show to the driver a 4 EUR/pers receipt but they never asked for it). The shuttle depart each hour at 09.30/ 10.30 ... and go to Venice in less than half-an-hour. There are some bus stations a bit closer (Marghera Cimitero, bus line 81F or Beccaria Canetti, bus line 18), but the bus schedule could be a bit challenging for your daily schedule. The bus ticket is 1,5 EUR/person for 75 minutes, that is more than enough to go anyway from Venice or Mestre railway station to HU camping. The Hu camping also provide a shuttle for Venice that costs 3,5 EUR/person one-way (in March 2025). Never used it because there was only 2 per day and their departure hours was not good for us. For all type of food also recommend Panorama hypermarket. The Al Calesse restaurant which is the closest around was closed during our staying. The Hu camping also have a nice supermarket. There will be a bit of daily hike from the camping to any bus station (15 minutes at least), no matter you go to the train station, or to Venice, but Venice itself means many hours of pedestrian routes in daily basis, so come prepared. The room itself was great, spacious and providing all amenities we need. Heating was made using the AC system, but it easily succeded to provide 24 Celsius degrees inside even when there was 3 Celsius degrees outside.

The fridge in room was a bit small (minibar type fridge) but it was working OK. The door locking system based on cards was a bit unfriendly at first sight, but we eventually get used with it.

We liked everything, unfortunately we arrived on October 13th and the pool was already closed because it was already cold. The restaurant was excellent, very good prices, and friendly staff. My friends and I wanted to celebrate my birthday. To my surprise, I found a yellow bag on our veranda in morning with a greeting card and a gift. The gift wasn't material, it was from the heart and with love. You made my day special and unforgettable. The bag contained three flower pots and seeds. I've already planted them and will definitely share the results later.

There's nothing to dislike, even if you look at it very critically, everything is super.

We stayed for 6 days with our 3 kids and had a great experience. The room was spacious enough for all five of us, and everything was clean — including the beds, both bathrooms, and the kitchen. We really liked the accommodation overall. The pool was also very nice and well-maintained. On some evenings, they organized fun events for the kids, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended for families!

The pillows were very uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep well. The internet connection was poor — it kept disconnecting and didn’t work properly in the rooms. Also, when we asked for a high chair for our baby, they said it would cost €6 per day, which we found quite expensive.

We were a bit worried when booking, thinking a “camping hotel” might not be suitable for hikers - but it turned out to be perfect! The place is an excellent option for a holiday. You get your own private bungalow, completely self-contained with a separate toilet, shower, and bedroom. The room was clean; the bed linen and towels weren’t brand new but were fresh and neatly ironed. The grounds are spacious with plenty of activities: a bar, pool, café, and shop. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced at €12. A huge plus is the special bus to Venice for just €2.50 each way super convenient. Just make sure to book the tickets in advance!

The campsite is a bit far from Mestre station so it is worth planning your route ahead of time. You can take public transport to the nearest stop and then walk. There is a convenient underground pedestrian passage right in front of the campsite that connects to the city’s residential area. The bungalow does not have a kettle or microwave. We tried to borrow a kettle from reception a couple of times but were told they were all in use. Overall the reception staff did not seem very friendly, perhaps because of the large number of guests, and sometimes they would not even greet you. It did not really feel like they were eager to help.

We took a taxi from Marco Polo airport to the camp. There is also a bus that goes from the airport to Mestre main train station. Then the option to get to the camp from the train station is either by foot or by taxi. Our check-in late night when we arrived was smooth. We completed an online check- in prior to the physical check- in, which sped up the check-in process. All staff we met was friendly and helpful. During our stay we didn’t eat at the restaurant, neither used the pool. But the restaurant and pool looked great and inviting. We left to Venice every morning and came back late. We used the bus shuttle that we booked and paid the night before, at the reception. The bus was a reliable and cheap way to transport us to Venice and back. 2.50€ one direction per person. Our room was clean, we stayed in 447. It didn’t bother us, but perhaps for a consideration something to repair: the water from shower would leak out from underneath the shower door, which can cause a damage to the floor over time. There was no wifi in our unit, which seemed inconvenient sometimes. Apparently the wifi was very strong in common areas, but not in all units. Units look the same as shown on pictures from camp’s website. Our unit had also an air conditioning that we used to cool down the unit for ~15 minutes. It was not hot during the night, so we didn’t need it. The unit had a fridge, which was very convenient for us. We liked the stay. We stayed 4 nights. We felt safe with a young child. The camp was quiet and we got a good night sleep. We would stay again. Thank you!
