Just across / opposite to the room, there is an asian Bangladesh restaurant /takeaway place where you get good food at low cost like Ryanair (for comparison). Takes 2 mins to bus stop on foot where 6L takes to Venice centre in 15 mins

No kitchen, no plates, no cups to make coffee, no water to take

Quiet, clean, towels and bedding provided, close to restaurants

No AC- loud fans, weak shower pressure/ dirty

Good qualiyi for low price.

Good location to travel into Venice, bus stop is a 1-2 minute walk then straight into Venice. Shower was average at best but room was okay and reasonably clean

An okay room to stay for one night, the bed sheets were clean

The room did not look clean (except the bed sheets), there was a stench in the air. There was a railway ticket in the room dating three months before, suggesting it was not cleaned since. There was no air conditioning in the room and one of the two fans was dirty and full of dust. The bedhead was full of oily stains and seemed just not clean. The bathroom (and especially the shower) were just dirty. Despite "night hours" established by the host, someone was watching loud tv after 23:00. The neighbourhood did not seem safe and we witnessed some violent arguments in the vicinity in broad daylight. Terrible value for money.

I had to pay 8 Euro of city tax but It was weird cause I didn't receive a receipt about the payment and it was in cash. So it weird Also, there is not kitchen

As I needed to check out earlier than originally scheduled, I have sent a message to the hostel whether the refund for the days that I wouldn't stay was possible or not; but they did not reply to my message at all (even I have not yet received any response). That has made me disappointed. The room was spacious and okay, but I expected to have a desk which was not actually available. Absence of a desk has made me somewhat uncomfortable as I could not concentrate on my work with my laptop.

They checked in me early and the owner was kind.

Four different keys to get in the different doors including the gate. 5 flights of stairs and no elevator. Wi-Fi didn't work. The shared bathroom on the fifth floor smelled so bad it made the hallway smell. My balcony door fell off the hinges when I opened it. No sound insulation so you can hear everything going on in the other rooms. If you need a super cheap place to stay this might ge be okay for you if you can put up with all that but I tend to think that sleeping in your car wake me up at Choice. I know I'm being harsh but they really need to do a little better maintenance on the place and some renovation would help.
