It’s very clean, regardless some guests could be messy the staff cleans the place every day. From desk is sweet and nice as long as you are respectful with them. If you plan to be mean at the stuff, nobody is going to like you. I enjoyed my time there bed was very comfortable and relaxing. A great place to meet new people if you’re traveling alone. The staff on the front desk were very helpful responding to read repairs cleanliness and needs.

They cleaned every day I saw how things get disinfected. Please not respect the ladies on the front desk. They are really sweet, but they don’t allow anyone cross lines.

Very nice and kind and helpful personnel, 11/10 give them a raise!!! Everyone has been nothing but absolutely kind and understanding. The rooms were good for sleeping and going on touring the city, obviously not 5* hotel, but ideal for getting some sleep, close to the station

Some creep kept going around the corridor and making distressing advances towards girls. He followed me to the toiled and waited till I got out, that was honestly terrifying. My friends told me, he knocked on our door while I was gone looking for a toilet, but I can hardly believe that story. So yeah all good but watch out for creeps. And it's difficult to find a parking spot, especially for people not used to Italian... driving habits

Very close to the train station, showers were clean and spacious, bunk beds are comfy. I had the top bed, and it was a metal frame, but it was super secure and didn't squeak at all. I arrived late and didn't see any lockers (maybe there were some and I just didn't notice), so I slept with my stuff in my bed and still had space. Great place.

It was fine for me because I have headphones, but the walls aren't super thick so the sound of 1am construction could be heard easily. It was also pretty bright from the outside streetlamps. Bring something to block out sound and light and you'll have no issues.

We stayed for three nights and had a great experience. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the underground, with only four stops to the city center. Excellent value for money, we were feeling safe, it’s pretty big hostel, staff is very good. Private, spacious, and minimalistic room at a price similar to most dormitories. 3 showers near the room with 24/7 hot water, hairdryer, towel. Good value for money.

Kitchen is poorly equipped, but we were not using it anyway.

Bad reviews scared me and I expected much worse but the accommodation proved to be decent. Not your typical hostel in terms of the atmosphere and a little run down. Still, the location was good (just next to Lambrate train station), dorms spacious and comfortable (with single beds so no privacy curtains for those who care for them), showers decent, and it was possible to heat up food/make coffee (strangely, cups, plates and utensils must be taken from the reception). Felt like there were not enough toilets (separate from showers) and am sorry I was there in the winter so all common areas were freezing cold and could barely be used.

Staff was quick and efficient, let me check-in 30 min ahead of time without any fuss. Spacious enough lockers, a hanger for drying the towel, functional sockets for charging in the bed area.

Common showers rooms are super small. More hangers for clothes would be welcome. One toilet was flooding. The neighbourhood is not nice but OK. Some coffee shops and LiDL is nearby. Lambrate station surroundings stink of urine, lots of drunkards etc.

I'm really impressed with this hostel and rate it highly, I booked a single bed in a female dorm and I really just needed somewhere to sleep before my early flight the next day. The staff let me check in quite late (around 11pm) with no issue and I was able to shower in the self contained cubicle before bed. I loved that it had aircon and the bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend and would stay here again, would love to take advantage of the outdoor space. Maybe next time! :)

Not much to complain about really!

I had a great stay at Mio Hostel in Milan! The location is fantastic – it’s easy to find and within walking distance of a tram station, making it super convenient to explore the city. The hostel is clean and well-maintained, which made my stay very comfortable. The receptionists were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with any questions or requests. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Milan!

The only downside was that my room was next to the garden, and I could occasionally hear noise from fellow residents. However, that’s not the hostel’s fault

We don’t usually book accommodation under 8 but this was a last minute booking and I must say better than some 8+ rated properties, especially for the Italian market. We had the twin room - Super comfortable beds!! - Strong radiator- the room was hot after 5 mins of it on. - Very clean- from the common spaces, bathroom, shower to the rooms. - Convenient location near Milan Lambrate train station which helped us reach Bergamo in 40 mins, without having to go to Milan Centrale -delicious cafes, bakeries and even a Lidl in less than 5 mins walk - good internet - 24hrs hours reception with super friendly staff, perfect English

- Common spaces were not heated, so the shower/ bathroom trip were rather swift and chilly - The dining area doesn’t have cutlery and plates. You can ask for plastic ones at the reception but that was not very practical for tea making. You can use the kettle and the microwave, no other kitchen facilities available. Only coffee and food vending machines. - It’s a 35 mins tram ride to the Duomo

I've spent only few hours here (I arrived very late in the evening and left very early in the morning), therefore I can't say I had a very extensive experience, but the few hours I have spent here were comfortable. The mattress is super good; the room and the bathroom were very clean; the room was spacious. The location is very convenient, since it's close to the train station and Metro station.

The hotel is very close to the train station Lambrate and you can hear the trains rattle all night long, when the windows are open.
