Location could not be better. 5 minutes to stazione centrale. Staff is always AMAZING, so helpful, kind and friendly. In particular, Yuri, true Neapolitan heart. We miss Enzo, of course, also the nicest person ever, always helped me with heavy luggage without even asking, from the hospital to the taxi, and waiting with me until I was inside the taxi. The warmth these Neapolitan people have shown is unique in the world. In England I have come across this type of humanity. Not even near. Marina Roncato

Naples a beautiful city in the evening is not very difficult the area as they had described the hostel is central easy access there is always someone who works in the structure the cleaning is regular very easy everything without pressure and rigid rules I will return as soon as I am again traveling to Naples

the only negative note is the tourist tax increased to €4.50 although I have to tell the truth they are not to blame and remember 5 cents for the elevator those in Naples are paid

I don’t know why it has such a bad reviews, but my stay was amazing! The location is good, near the city centre, the gays from the reception were super polite and useful. I stayed at the hostel 2 weeks, it has an oven, fringe, toilet with a toilet paper and a soap (the bathroom was always clean).

The socket was only one for the room of 6 girls, i think it’s not enough. And the bathroom for girls was only 1.

Good value for money, if you need a place to stay over night, and are prepared for city noise. The bed and bathroom were clean. The guy from the reception was nice, showed me where everything is. Wifi worked. Nice balcony.

Location is busy and loud (take ear plugs), also I made sure I arrived relatively early, before sunset. Area is close to the central train station, I am not sure how safe it is at night, so I did not try. The room was a bit too hot - the window was closed to keep the noise from the street down. Fan was available in the room. I considered all this to be reflected in the low price - fair deal. In the end I slept well and that's all I needed for this short stop. It would help to have 2 bathrooms for ladies, but I was lucky not to wait, as I got up quite early.

Near railway station and bus station, bars,cafes,etc,shopping....I felt safe in area,I from London England this area is cosmopolitan...all people from around the world,enjoy the different cultures, don't fear them,ie there is ethinic food,and around the railway station is Italian food and yes American food too ! .. .this is a very old part of Naples...buildings might be in old but it's the real Italian living experience 😉 the very heart of Naples central area !!!

I loved my stay at Alexander Hostel with all my heart. I extended three times! During my time the guests and the lovely people working there have become like a little family overtime and I will miss the good energy. Upon arriving I was really scared about checking into this place because of all the horrible reviews, but I decided to give it a chance and in the end, as I said, I extended my stay multiple times because of how much I loved it! It's clean, well run, has a kitchen that works (the door of the fridge requires some handling, but whatever) and the showers were spotless (though there is only one for women and one for men, I've been here during high season and the line for the bathroom was never too long). The location is great, too! Just at night, be careful, like in any major city. At the end of the day it's a cheap hostel that delivers more than you pay for, so I would recommend it wholeheartedly!

Enzo was fabulous. Super helpful. And friendly. He even helped me with my suitcase to the taxi, cause I was struggling on my own. I have been at Alexander hotel 4 times now and this is the best value in Naples .also the best location as round the corner from stazione centrale. I stay in female dorm every time and I always make lovely new friends. Love it.

This place was great, it was clean, the bed was plenty comfortable, the facilities were in order and the staff are very helpful and friendly. For the price you pay I don’t understand how anyone could complain.

It was slightly difficult to find on google maps, to avoid problems getting in when you arrive just communicate with the staff.

It's in the centre of the city and access to all the things and to explore... Had great security... It has kitchen... Daily cleaning... Friendly staff... For Excellent price, I got the bed...

Only one charging plug with the extension... Beds were making noises... While sleeping No AC in the rooms...

Very clean hostel with kitchen and balcony and Friendly staff! Very close to the station so you can organise to see everything easily. Nice kebab in the the same street, espresso café, bet shops, pharmacy. Also few pizza/restaurants in a parallel street for a suggestion try “Di Martino” mozzarella di bufala. You could find people selling stuff on the street, take a look because it’s an interesting experience!

Please fix well the lock of the toilet 😄 otherwise the girls will always go in the mens toilet!!! Remember that sometimes you need 5 cents for the lift! Justin case you don’t have 5 cents just take as much as you need in advance!!! it you can also ask downstairs in the building.
