We had an amazing time at this hotel. Exceptional customer centric 5 star hotel. The Consierge, front of house staff, desk and bell boys and housekeeping were superb The restaurant was spectacular. The breakfast, lunch, dinner hospitality staff were fantadtic providing us with luxury 5 star service. Food, wine and views were amazing First class service everday. They were professional, caring and respectful servers to everyone. The experience was amazing to see people love their jobs with such attention to detail and attentiveness to the clients and to each other. Team work was exceptonal. Everything was perfect.

We had an incredible stay, and one of the biggest highlights was the exceptional service from the concierge, Luigi. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable — arranging perfect restaurant reservations, sharing insider tips on the city, and even helping us with last-minute changes to our plans. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for guests made us feel truly welcome and at home. It’s rare to find someone who combines such deep local knowledge with such personal attention. Luigi is a true asset to the hotel and a big reason we can’t wait to return.

The view was great from my room. The bathroom was top notch. The rooftop bar and restaurant view is awesome. Really, the best part of my stay! The morning breakfast room is elegant, and lots of food choices. The location is great, walk out the front door to the marina and fort, although I traveled alone, I felt very safe. There were people all day long walking the shoreline. Nice gelato cafe down the street! I will definitely stay here again if I return to Naples. Really the best area of the city.

The furniture in the room was a bit old and well used, but that would not stop me from staying here again.

The hotel is classically historic and therefore radiates the elegance of another era. Anyone who loves such structures will be happy with the Hotel Excelsior. The views of the harbor, the sea, Capri and Vesuvius are sensational.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not as well maintained in many details as one would expect. It is the little things that detract from the positive overall impression. For example, crookedly hanging chandeliers or thick traces of limescale in the bathroom. The cleanliness also depended on the day, sometimes good, sometimes bad. That is a real shame for the hotel, it needs more attention to detail.

It was fabulous and the reception staff were an absolute delight , professional, friendly and polite , a young girl in particular whom we have mislaid her name was terrific in every aspect of her role . Reception staff were immaculately dressed and were eager to help plan and give information to any questions we had . The staff at breakfast were attentive and always smiling 5* all around . We have stayed in all the front hotels on the promenade and we would certainly come back again . Thank you for the attention to detail from arrival to vacating was an absolute pleasure to have stayed at The Eurostars in Naples .

We stayed on 3rd floor with waterviews, balcony,Mt. Vesuvious, Naples, and Harbor views. It was fantasic.

Although it was cool in the evenings(except for one night), we were told the city did not permit AC to be running during our stay in mid April. I met with the hotel manager(Gianni) about this and he did offer to refund our payment in full but we enjoyed the views so much we decided to stay. Gianni handled the situation very professionally and was a wonderful gentleman.

Location -especially the Terass- best in Napoli.

Bath tub slippery. Could have been a mat or something to avoid falling. No pen or scribbling pads - which you normally use. No bath ribs, which you would expect from this kind of hotel and the price. Service a little uneven. Sometimes no water was placed in the room and sometimes no bath mat. Also the service in the terrace restaurant was sometimes slow - especially by the male servants

Very friendly staff and ideal location, views were amazing across the bay. Comfortable bed and tasty food

The Gym was basic. No jacuzzi pool as advertised on booking .com. Sun terrace not open, staff told us this only opened in the summer and our stay was the end of June and at 32 degrees C , a place to relax in the sun would have been lovely . Building work going on outside, no fault of the hotel , but this was noisy . However once this outdoor street work is complete I am sure the whole area will be more appealing to tourists

Always a brilliant stay here. The rooftop hotel has the best view of Naples by night. Very generous with food when buying drinks at the hotel. Staff are always very accommodating and go out of their way to help. An easy and enjoyable 15-minute walk to the centre of Naples. Great location and close to the port for day trips to the islands and Amalfi. There is also an abundance of great restaurants nearby. Excellent amenities and rooms are spacious.

There is nothing I didn't like about my stay.
