Antonio was an amazing host who truly made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay.The room was on the 4th floor of a building with an elevator, located in an area close to the main train station and about a 20-minute walk from all the main attractions in the city. We communicated through Google Translate, which worked perfectly. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. For breakfast, we had a croissant and a cappuccino, and there was always coffee, tea, and some snacks available throughout the day. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a hairdryer, and even a mini fridge.

We couldn't ask for a better stay. Antonio was super friendly, warm, and helpful. The hotel is small but super clean and very comfortable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and it had a mini fridge, which came in handy for keeping some perishable foods we like traveling with. They have a small breakfast area and breakfast service, which was much appreciated. The location is great because it is close to train stations, ferry stations, historic downtown, and main tourist attractions.

The neighborhood can seem a bit unsafe by its looks, but it wasn't at all!

Antonio, the owner, was very kind and helpful, he speaks very little English, but Google translator helped a lot. Every morning he brought fresh croissants based on your request and prepared coffee for breakfast. Additional snacks, coffee, tea were available at eating area all the day. The room was cozy and clean, bath room has all nencessary equipment. I very apperciate an option to let our luggage in apartment before check-in. Location is great to achieve trains (Pompei, Sorrento) ferries (Capri, Ischia) as well as city centre.

Antonio was super kind and accomodating. Although the room was quite small it was very clean. Bathroom was large. The inside of the BnB was very clean and quiet. I think duvets should be used and not comforters when renting too many people.

The shower didn't have much pressure and there was no hot water for any of our showers. It would get warm and then go cold again. Didn't like the location. The area seemed very sketchy and unclean. Inside the property was good but the outside did not meet our expectations.

From the very beginning we were welcomed very nicely - our flight was delayed, but it was not a problem for the host - Antonio. Antonio is the best host we ever had, he explained everything we needed and made sure everything was ok throughout our stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the breakfast very tasty (italian cornetto, coffee and orange juice) - we really enjoyed our stay here!

It’s a bit noisy in the morning, but it wasn’t a big problem for us

The room was nice and very clean. There was also a small fridge with some water in it. The staff was absolutely fantastic, they didn’t speak much English and I don’t speak much Italian but we managed perfectly well. They were attentive and kind, and did everything for us to feel comfortable. The location is a little outside the main tourist area, but then again, it has its charm and the ‘center’ is just 7-10 min walking distance. It’s also just 10 min walking distance from railway/bus station.

Nice and clean room, seemed newly renovated and the breakfast served, though very basic, was a nice touch. You can also have coffee all day long. The owner, as well as the person that served us in the morning were both very kind. Coins for the elevator were offered. There were bath amenities and the linen was changed once during our seven-day stay. We asked for extra clean towels and there was no problem at all. Quite central location, especially convenient if you want to be very near to the train station for your excursions. The supermarket next to the apartment was a pleasant bonus and the whole area felt quite safe.

The building was not easily recognizable and the day of our arrival we spent quite some time asking the passersby. The bathroom had a big mold spot on the ceiling which smelt veeery bad.

Facilities were very good, room and breakfast area were fresh and clean. Basic breakfast - pastry, tea/coffee and juice. We had difficulty in locating the property but the owner was on hand to help. Location wise - ideal for travelling by train as the station was only minutes away.

Other options at breakfast would be ideal.

Our experience at “L’Orto dell Conte” went beyond our expectations! This accomodation offers more than a B&B and not less than a hotel. We felt as in our home during our stay in the beautiful chaotic Napoli. The superhost, Antonio, made everything easier for us. He was very attentive, helpful for whatever we needed, an amazing local guide and his hospitality has always been beyond our satisfaction! Thanks to him we never felt like customers but as his guests. The room was very spacious, super clean, fully equipped with every amenity a guest may need, for a short or a long stay as well. Fresh italian breakfast was served everyday by Antonio along with a small talk which we enjoyed and already miss by now! :) Least but not last, location was perfect! Location is just a few minutes walking distance from the Napoli Centrale, train station, historic center, important landmark bars and pizzerias and also close to the port.

This place is a true gem! The owner Antonio was the most pleasant and helpful host i have ever came across during my travels. Everyday he welcomed us with a fresh and delicious pastries (a croissant, a brioche). He was atentive and gave us tips of what to see and how to get there. We actually arrived earlier than planned and he welcomed us with coffee as we were waiting for the keys to our room. The room was clean, the bed wide and comfortable. Even though Napoli isn't consider the most safe or clean of a city, we felt very safe in the neighbourhood. When booking, I didin't realised how great the location was! Everything important was within 5-10 minutes by foot. One last tip: If you crave pizza but don't have the patience to wait for an hour at l'antica da Michelle (3 minutes away) you should definitely try Pizzeria passionamij (cheaper and only like a minute away). Overall I really cannot recomend this place enough!
