Ok, firstly, great communication. Clear and precise. Simone couldn't have done more! A real gem of a hotel. Like so many Italian hotels, an inconspicuous door on the street opens up into a real treasure! Bright and airy rooms with high ceilings and super comfy beds. Nice quality bed linen with stylish furniture and quality bathrooms. When I return to Naples, I know where I'm going back too. Thanks Simone, really appreciate!! Andy

The property was centrally located for all our travelling in Naples both the historical quarter and access to the port area within walking distance . Simone met us and arranged by text to meet us outside to give us access . We had a first floor room with lovely high ceilings and good sound proofing so no street noise which was great . Near University area so good street vibe going on. Beautiful breakfast a short walk away with lovely coffee and we had limone croissants every morning he also gave the option to have it riveted to room but we enjoyed the atmosphere outside the cafe every morning . Also fridge provided in shared room for relaxing /planning which was great to store water and drinks . Highly recommend for a great stay in Naples with lovely accommodation and host .

Beautiful and stunning apartment located in the University quarter of Naples. Don't be alarmed by the graffiti clad area - this is typical of most places in Naples. The host was extremely friendly and very helpful (he even organised a taxi for our onward journey on departure). The apartment is just a short walk from a lovely square with a few bars and restaurants. This is where you also go to have breakfast, where lovely fresh pastries are served with great coffee or juice. This apartment was a great base for us to explore Naples and the surrounding area (we were travelling as a family of 2 adults + 2 children 11 and 9 yrs). Metro station also only 5 mins walk away.

The building looks a bit scruffy from the outside, but the rooms and the whole apartment is spotless. Super clean, nicely decorated, kettle in the room is always a bonus :) Great communication with an owner, he couldn't been nicer :) We arrived early in the morning and we were able to leave our bags in the reception area, they send us a message as soon as room was ready. Location is very convenient - short walk from Metro station and old town. We had a great time. Highly recomended!

Everything was great!

The location was excellent for exploring the historic area of Naples and the surrounding area. Room was very comfortable and clean. Simone was a very good host and was available when needed. Highly recommend Porto 53 to enjoy the wonderful city of Naples and all what it has to offer. Wish we could have extended our stay there was so much more to see. No complaints excellent stay 👌. Don't believe what other people say about Naples. Very friendly city with lots of good eats and history.

The B& B is very well located, close to the restaurants, old town, churches, young culture. Also the airport is very close to the city and the it only 30 minutes away and the last stop is in Napoli Porto, and closest to the B&B. The mattes and the pillow are very comfortable. Has a small balcony to see the small street and the university. The building is located in the Old Town and it's a small flat. The bathroom is ok, but needs more deep cleaning, in the shower and behind of the toilet. Dust ares, particular the lamps (thick layers of dust. And the bathroom too(mirror) But I hope with this review, they will improve it Simone is very polite , helpful and speaks Spanish and English.

The location is excellent—right by the Università subway station and just a short walk from Cristo Velato and San Gregorio, making it perfect for exploring the area. The apartment itself is modern, impeccably clean, and offers a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The host is incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at a nearby café, which added to the local experience. I highly recommend this apartment for families or couples; with all these great features, it will likely be booked up most of the time!

Simone was very helpful. He was proactive, communicates well in english and ensured that all our requests are met with. The King suite room was good however the Deluxe room was a bit cramped. Location wise, its close to the University, which has a old town flavour as well as commuting wise, the metro station is also not far away.

like many places in Italy, the approach to the rooms (entrance etc) is a bit dated. Breakfast is very simple, not exciting and devoid of much options (might be a typical of Italy though!). We have ordered the breakfast at room (for which you have to inform early the previous day). There is an option to go to a nearby restaurant and have it, which we have not explored. For people with limited mobility, this is not a place advisable (because of the old pattern streets and a narrow footpath) at the front of the hotel.

The apartment is located in the historic district and everything is in a walking distance. Metro and Port are very close. Naples is very lively city, so it gets very loud-especially on a weekend when some places play music until 1am. I wouldn't recommend this neighborhood for families with young children and strollers, as it has cobblestone sidewalks.

Noise

Great location in the center of Naples. Parking approx 5 mins away and there is a discount if you tell that you stay in this appartment. Nice room, very helpfull host. Really good sound insulation - street can be quite loud but you dont hear anything if the windows are closed

Equipped as all modern rooms - without a stronger, central light in the room. Only "decadent" lights :) If you are on a leisure it is OK; but if you would like to work in the evening it can be a bit too dark
