Everything about staying here was great from start to finish. Our host Gianni was friendly, kind and helpful. He picked us up from the airport and we were blown away by the vibe of the city from the start. San Gennaro BNB is such a cool place to stay, like stepping back in time. The location is great and the BNB itself was so authentic. Such a great experience. Our room was comfortable and clean, we had everything we needed and Gianni was great for recommending the best places to eat, drink and see. We were really grateful for this as 2 girls who did no planning and didn’t know where to go! I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants a true Napoli experience and we would stay here again :)

The location is excellent and central.

There is ongoing construction, which in itself is not a problem but it blocks the view from the window, which was part of the reason I picked the place and I feel this was not communicated (if I am wrong, please disregard this and also note that knowing this, I'd still pick the place again, only I would reduce my expectations in advance.). Also, the bathroom seems (smells) a bit moldy/stuffy but, to be fair, I noticed no visible signs of that and you adjust after a day or so and mostly don't notice it.

Cozy, clean and very refined structure, a real gem, with special objects and furniture, the super location, in the heart of the historic center, you can breathe art, practically attached to the cathedral of Naples and with the statue of the obelisk of San Gennaro, which you can almost touch from the balcony, the owner Gianni, very helpful, nice and ready to fulfill all our requests, excellent breakfast very assorted. My new point of reference in Naples… if it wasn't for the scaffolding from the building works I would have given 11 for the review

I was surprised by the location, looked like the old streets of Tripoli in Lebanon, WHICH I ADORE! It was the most random choice to book there but I LOVED IT! The room is spacious, well-lit, yet at the same time can be totally blacked out when you want to sleep. The Host, Gianni, could be the BEST HOST I EVER MET IN MY LIFE! We actually became friends and him and his GF/Friends showed me around Napoli like a LOCAL! I loved this experience and will definitely go back. The B&B is close to a lot of beautiful cafes and restaurants, Sorbillo has the best Pizza ever (Michelin star restaurant) and right outside the door of the building there is a small cafe with the best Pistachio Cornetti and BEST Cappuccino ever. ORDER THE LARGE ONE!

There is no elevator in the house, so you have to climb to the top floor. The common areas are very hot, but the room has an air conditioner, so you can adjust the temperature very well. Very good location. On one of the main tourist streets surrounded by some of the cheapest restaurants, cocktails and desserts in Naples.

Due to a misunderstanding, the owner took 15 euros more from my card. Although the owner proved to me that he has returned the money to me, I have not received this money back in my account. Maybe it's booking.com's fault.

100% recommend this place !Gianni was very helpful with all our request and provided us all the help we needed! The place was clean, had coffee, snacks, incredible view and it's at a perfect Downtown area very close to bars, restaurants, places to dance. Place was affordable compared to other places around, just loved it ! Will 100% book it again, thank you Gianni !

The location was great, in the historic centre. The decoration was really planned and made an effort with. In the middle off hussle when stepping out of the door. Liked the vivid cafes etc.

Arriving late to Naples trainstation, finding the way through dodgy Garibaldi district, and not exactly knowing how to get in made us a bit scared. During the daylight would have been easier, I bet. Were ringing different door bells which seemed a bit confusing - ended well.

Location, atmosphere and design of the facilities are amazing! Eventhough the apartment is in the heart of Naples on a lively street, you can barely hear something. We had some problems with the bathroom (shower) and Gianni was very responsive, he offered another room. We were very happy about everything. It was my 3rd time visiting the city and always stayed here. Would highly reccommend.

The accommodation was described as a 'B&B', which was a bit misleading. In fact it was closer to an a airbnb with a kitchen available to make coffee/tea, snacks laid on and tableware if you wanted to bring or prepare food. The building was probably 17th or 18th century and each room was furnished with antique furniture. It was about as 'un-corporate' as it goes. The location was just by the Cathedral and on the fringe of the bustling Spaccanapoli district. Our host couldn't have been more helpful

Some of the fixtures of fittings were a bit ramshackle - the shower door it particular was a bit precarious. But these are minor issues in what was otherwise a lovely idiosyncratic place to stay and explore Naples
