The warm welcome was definitely out of this world. I had just landed from an early morning flight and they even offered me free breakfast and let me check-in early. They have a 24/7 Snack and Coffee Station which was really great especially when one is on a business trip. The breakfast had a variety of pastries, as well as a toastie station. The room was spacious with privacy blinders, double doors and a big terrace. The staff is really nice and welcomed me as if I was their own family

5 minute walk from the ferry terminal . Lots of restaurants nearby . Also stop number 1 for the red bus tour is just at top of street . The rooms are modern and comfortable. Although in room 605 the paint on the ceiling is really cracked and totally peeling !

Check in is complicated initially . For fellow travellers- The property is in the building next to Pharmacy- in an office block , the B&B is on the 6th floor , you go up in lift to 6th floor , turn right out of lift , door is in front of you . You should have instructions from B&B how to gain entry - there is a door bell , but no one may be there . Breakfast was poor - we found ourselves going for more breakfast elsewhere later in the day . The pastries were stale and limited . On arrival -unlike most b&b’s there are no hot refreshments , water was in the fridge in room which was gratefully received , but you can’t make a hot drink as there was no milk provided in a fridge.

The stuff was friendly but they barely speak English, even If you know English it is hard to make yourself understood. It was nice that he had some snacks on the hallway all the time and the posibility of making a coffee.

Having the breakfast just outside your room was disturbing if you still wanted some sleep. Too noisy. If i knew the balcony was not available I would have cancelled the stay. The building outside was under renovation. The balcony was the main reason I chose this hotel. I wish I had my towels dry every day. I had to walk a lot to the centre. It is not so close.

location is great having a balcony is great ( although shared with other rooms ) staff is nice and friendly parking is kinda easy ( i got lucky to find a near by place) beds are comfy AC is good really close to main station and have direct bus connection to main station, airport, and to the beach ( i used public transport one day then rented a car ) breakfast is good

walls seem thin ( i was watching tv at midnight and neighbor started banging on the wall - volume was at 12/80 )

Arrived at this small B&B and was thrilled to find my room was large, light and the bath was the most spacious I've found in Italy (rain shower heads and lots of jets). Massimo was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about Palermo and made suggestions that helped me save time in exploring the city. Must also mention, Rosie, who prepared our breakfast and also made sure the rooms were spotless. Exceptional staff at this property! The location was near the port and many wonderful cafes and restaurants - not to mention the major sights - are within walking distance! Highly recommend this wonderful little gem!

Renovations/construction was happening on the exterior of the building, but no work started until 8am; so it really wasn't an issue. My balcony faced another apartment building; so while there was no real view ... the swallows enjoyed the drafts every afternoon and I loved being right at their level (6th floor) to watch them pass really close to check me out!

The great location with a walking distance to the old Centre of Palermo, the lively neighborhood with busing night life and many food options close to the hotel. The room was well equipped just like a five stars hotel. The amenities were amazing. The staff were great and responding to every inquiry or problem that I had. The breakfast and sweet treats were amazing

I spent most of my day outside the complex that’s why I did not bother for the renovation a lot. However if you want to spend time on the balcony, the renovation are still not finished. I hope by my next visit the renovation are completed since i am planning to come back.

Caring owner, he called to find out the time of arrival. Helpful staff. Modern renovation. You can't hear the city noise. The hotel is located on the 6th floor of an office building. There is an elevator. Because The offices are closed at night and the building is quiet. Coffee machine and eleсtric kettle in the dining room corridor, can be used at any time. Everything was wonderful. The shower is super, with all sorts of modern things.

The only negative was that the balcony could not be used due to renovation work. I knew about the renovation, but hoped that it would be completed by my arrival. I think that from the balcony there would be a wonderful view of the port.

Great location, clean and nice room, friendly stuff, good comunication with the owner. The day we had check out, our flight was at 10 p.m. so we had late check out and stayed in the room the whole day for extra charge of only 35 Euros. that was great especially because that day was raining and we didn't know where to go from 10:00 a.m. till 10 p.m.

Breakfast could be better and it would be great to have an extra chair since it was 2 of us and only 1 chair to sit

Great location and easy to access. Clear communication from Massimo about how to enter and felt very safe and secure. A lovely balcony to enjoy the view of the city and breakfast was decent to start the day. Staff were all very friendly.

A shared balcony but luckily no one else was using it when I was. A 30 min walk from the main train and bus station which was quite far in the heat of summer.

I stayed at B&B D'Amari in Palermo for 3 days and I must report that the quality of this place is outstanding: all the furniture is new, the room was very clean, fully equipped and the bed was super comfy. Note, the location is strategic: 1 minute from the historical center and it's plenty of bars and restaurants in its surroundings. The personnel was exquisite: I was warmly welcomed by Massimo at my arrival and Rosy managed to make me smile every morning. They were both extremely professional and their customer care was impressive: when an inconvenience occurred, they promptly offered their help to fix the issue. Breakfasts were definitely satisfactory: coffee or cappuccino, juice, fresh cakes and croissants, bread, ham and cheese. I firmly recommend this place and it will be my pleasure to reserve it again for my next trip to Palermo :) Thanks for the positive experience!
