Good location, quiet with use of a good sized pool and local beach. Supermarket near by and plenty of buses to Palermo city centre and Mondello town and beach . A few local amenities nearby ( bar, pizzeria, laundry). Very helpful staff and got lots of helpful info from Serena via what's app ( good internet) regarding our stay. Grazie Serena ☺️

Parking not the greatest, in the end I found it easier to park on the main road as I wasn't overly sure of parking restrictions near the B+B and didn't want to risk a parking ticket or get towed away. No hardship mind as it's only a 5 min walk away.

The breakfast was lovely! The pool overlooked the ocean. The staff were friendly. Walking distance from an amazing pizza shop and the beach and incredible gelato. Easy to catch the bus into Palermo or to other beaches.

I’m very easily pleased so I loved the beach near by, but I can see how others might find it less appealing. It’s in an area of town with not much going on, which for me is great. I loved the quiet but if you’re looking to go out, and stumble home it’s definitely not the place for it.

We stayed at the B&B for one week and can agree with many of the other reviews. The villa was charming, the garden around the buildings and pool is very green and inviting. The pool was a big plus, especially since it was really hot in August. The whole area is like a little oasis, with a beautiful ocean view. The room hat good air conditioning which was important because it was over 30 degrees every day. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English that we could communicate (as we only speak German and English, not Italian). The proximity to Mondello beach was good- we took the bus there easily. We also took the bus into Palermo center and did a day trip to Cefalu.

The area was quite run down and the villa behind the metal gates is clearly the nicest property in the area. We still ate dinner at the restaurants in Aranella and enjoyed some really good seafood. The area had almost 0 tourists, even in the high season, so as a non-Italian it was a bit intimidating. The town was full of trash and was run down. The beach was also full of trash and stray cats, so we didn’t spend much time on the Aranella beach. We tried to rely on the local busses as much as possible, but they came very irregularly so sometimes we were waiting for almost an hour. Also, as soon as it was dark out the busses seemed to stop running so it was best to get dinner in the town of the B&B or else rely on overpriced taxis and drivers which rip you off.

An old villa, in an romantic fashioned italian style, directly located at the sea. A very good place to calm down, enjoy the sun at the pool or the sea, reading in the garden or going to Palermo/Mondello by public transport. The area isn’t as bad as described in other reviews — there are some restaurants in the area & if you walk 20 minutes you can be in the city. The staff is very helpful, open & friendly. Totally recommend

Nothing really, but if there was something that could be done to even improve is to give bikes to the guests to get around.

Quiet, clean room with modern bathroom. The house and the garden were very charming and it was great to have a view of the sea. It’s in a very local and non-touristy area of Palermo.

The first floor smelled like cigarettes. For people without a car, the access to the city center via bus is not the easiest.

The building and pool area ares lovely, although we were there too early in the season to enjoy the pool. Antonio looked after us really well. There are regular buses to central Palermo and Mondello.

The surrounding area and beach are very dirty and not many restaurants around.

It was very clean and Raju was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He was very accommodating and helpful. Very cute cat on site

The breakfast was very basic, not worked out bad for or paying for it. I didn’t realise where the car park is you have to come through a derelict area and didn’t feel safe at all , not pretty , not advertised properly.

Everything was good standard , staff is lovely and helpful. 20 min to city centre by local bus cost €1,40 . Rooms are spacious . Around 2 bakeries with delicious pastries and very good restaurant next to the port . Walking distance 10-15 min. Recommended be staff beautiful Mondello beach - by local bus 25-30min.

Location is a bit further from Palermo than we had expected. There was an awful smell in the bathroom, which apparently is the pipes.
