A well renovated, modern set of suites in a historical building. Proximity to Old Town Palermo. Within walking distance to the train station, many restaurants and many of Palermo’s attractions. Comfortable, well furnished room with a king size bed, a sofa, a fridge and an espresso machine. The hosts (Sergio and Francesca) were very helpful and very pleasant. They catered to all of our needs and promptly provided all the travel information we asked for.

The suites are on the 3rd floor (62 steps up) and may not be suitable for older people or people with knee issues. However, the host kindly took our suitcases to our room and brought them back when we checked out.

Perfect location - close to most of the places you would like to visit. Very good sound insulation, comfortable bed, everything is clean. The most important thing is the hospitality, the friendliness and the good communication with Sergio and Francesca, who helped us with everything we needed.

Absolutely loved Zefiro Suites. Sergio was the nicest and most helpful host we had through our two-week trip in Europe and Zefiro was super spacious and comfortable given the price and location. Sergio's advice and recommendations were wonderful and we felt really at home. Super walkable to everywhere central and the pier. Really appreciated the mechanised pulley to help bring luggage upstairs and all the advice through the trip.

Would have loved a kettle in the room or common area, since the coffee machine often ran out of water, and I needed a fair bit of hot water on the trip, having been unwell. But this is a really minor thing. Bear in mind that you'll have to climb up four flights of stairs each time. This is a classic European thing though, but just a note.

The location is fantastic for reaching all the major sites in Palermo - from Quattro Canti to the cathedral; massimo teatro and harbour. There are many restaurants which are excellent nearby; it's close to the train station if you're going further afield. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is served just round the corner at a local case where your voucher (given by hotel) are credit against a wide range of pastries and drinks. Hotel service was excellent and nothing was too much bother

All good - no complaints

Everything was amazing. The host, Sergio, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. He shared a lot of local knowledge and was always reachable. The flat was very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was great. Sergio was kind enough to drop us off at the station for our next destination. Since there is no lift, he helped us with the luggage using an electric tool he has, which was quite impressive. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. It's close to everything, all within walking distance.

The location is very good. It is clean and decently maintained. It is on the third floor of an older building, assistance with heavy luggage is provided. Decent breakfast is provided in a nearby cafe. Complimentary tea and coffee are available for those who need them. Owner/manager is even providing tourist information.

There are minor issues that the owner can fix. We self-checked-in and there was no information concerning access to WiFi. So, for the first night, we had to rely on our mobiles. Paying for the city tax was a bit chaotic. Also, the place could use a way to let the hosts know whether you want your room cleaned or not (in our case it was cleaned unnecessarily). For breakfast they issued us each day with a ticket to show at the cafe. It would have been easier if they gave them to us all upon our arrival.

Our stay at Zefiro was extremely pleasant. The staff is very kind, attentive to every detail, and available at all times. The room is spacious. The location is excellent — a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet within walking distance of all essential amenities. After check-out, you can leave your luggage and come back later, with access to a dining area and restroom. This meant a lot to us, as we were traveling with two small children and had a late flight. I highly recommend it to everyone!

It’s perfectly located right in the center of Palermo – everything is just a short walk away. The place was super clean, nicely decorated. The hosts were extremely friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast at a nearby café – a great start to the day in a relaxed setting. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

The location is great and you can easily walk anywhere. The room and bathroom (with excellent shower!) were modern and very clean, and the windows soundproof. The included breakfast offered at the cafe downstairs was simple but tasty. Upon arrival, Sergio used an electric hoist to bring our suitcases up to the 3rd floor where the rooms were located, so no need to carry them up.

While the windows were great, the door to the hallway was not soundproof and you could always hear the other guests and their children. It wasn’t a problem for us, but people should be aware that the breakfast is not served in the common room but in the cafe downstairs, so the images on Booking are a bit misleading because they show granola+fruit bowls etc, which are not or no longer offered.

This is a wonderful B&B. Great location in the centre of the old town, very convenient to get to all the key places in Palermo. I thought the newly decorated room was superb, spacious, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, with a little table and chair for working on your laptop. Great bathroom with big shower, and all the condiments you'll need. Strong Wi-Fi, and great air conditioning, important in the summer months July and August. Outside of the room, there is a small communal area for breakfast and to sit in the hot afternoons. The breakfast was great, and the management were flexible about the menu. Win and her husband Sergio were absolutely great hosts, very helpful, informative, and attentive. This is a superb base to explore Palermo. I very rarely score over 8, I highly recommend.
