Great central location. Within easy walking distance of Palermo central station, the historic centre and the Marina. Breakfast provided by Luca. Luca was very helpful and Accommodating.

Slight smell of damp in the first room ( music themed room)we stayed in. Other than that and for the price there's not a great deal to dislike.

Host was very nice and provided helpful advice. The breakfast was great. My wife has celiac and the host went out and bought a spread of gluten free baked goods just for her. Also, I mentioned that we would be leaving extra early one of the days before breakfast and he got up extra early and made breakfast for us early so we wouldn’t miss it.

Location is great, but there are a lot of stairs and the stair well from the front door is a shared entry that is dark. Nothing to be done about that, but just be aware if you have trouble going up stairs and carrying your luggage. It worked for us, but could be a problem for some people.

I’m so happy we chose Luca’s accommodation! What a slice of heaven in Palermo! Luca went out of his way to find us for check in as our data service on our phone wasn’t working. I can’t say enough good things about the location, the views, the vibes, and the artsy, funky aesthetic of the space! And, if you’re all about the smells and cleanliness, it was obviously very clean inside, bathroom/whole space had a wonderfully clean citrusy aroma. The location is just above a cool little bar we got to catch on a night with live jazz. For our first visit to Palermo, this was the perfect place to be and see historic sites from with a limited timeframe. Yes, there are stairs, as others describe, but that’s something to be expected in an old building. You will be glad you booked here! Amazing views, delicious breakfast, extremely accommodating host (along with his parents :) Can’t thank them, especially Luca enough!!

Absolutely nothing.

This property was lovely, and on a busy street with bars and restaurants, the amazing thing was the double glazing when the door was closed you could not hear a thing so that was really good. The room was a very good size, it didn’t have a fridge in it but you could use (and we did) use the fridge in the breakfast room. The breakfast was lovely more of a continental but with extras like pastries and fresh bread rolls. The roof top was great and we did enjoy a wine at the end of the night up there. Luca was great and did the airport run there and back at a reasonable rate. The place was very clean and serviced every day. Just be aware that there are 59 steps to the apartment with no lift, Luca took my case up and down so that wasn’t an issue and after a days eating was good to burn off some calories but may not be for everyone. Would I stay there again Absolutely.

The stairs could be a problem for some.

Great contact with the owner. Delicious breakfasts. The ability to use the dining room and kitchen is definitely something to appreciate. Similarly, the rooftop terrace. Very clean. Air conditioning in the room, which can also be used for heating on cold days. Despite being located close to a street where it gets noisy in the evening due to restaurants, it's very quiet once the windows are closed. The biggest advantage is the location. Close to landmarks, the sea, and the station. Everything is easily accessible on foot. Highly recommend.

Great B&B just located right in the middle of Centro Storico. The owner arranged a parking place and the ZTL permit which was fab! But I took a wrong turn & Google Maps wasn't a big help and drove around for a while in super narrow alleys trying to find my host who was waiting for me to take me to the parking. Plus side I saw a lot of Palermo 😃 and the parking spot was very close to the B&B. The location really couldn't be better! The room was comfortable and clean. Liked the themed room. Great breakfast incuding eggs, nice surprise! And some good sweet stuff. Had coffee outside on the terrace in the sun afterwards. Could leave my luggage for a few hours the next day which was very convenient.

An extra bin or a bigger one wouldn't hurt! The room was quite dark but didn't mind because I was only there to sleep. Beware of the stairs, there are a lot of them! He helped me carry my luggage up (thx again!!). Some traffic noise but I slept with the window open and it did not bother me.

The host was very easy to reach via the booking.com messaging system and met us at the front door when we arrived, he helped us carry one of our suitcases up the many flights of stairs and gave us a tour of the facilities. There's a nice roof that you can have breakfast on, free chilled water (tap) in the refrigerator, and the location is very very convenient to the local attractions and to a shuttle to the airport. He helped us to look up the shuttle schedule and gave us addresses and photos of where to find the shuttle for an early morning flight the next day.

The bed was not very comfortable.

ad hoc is a beautifully renovated property in a very convenient location. The property was very secure with a locked common door from the street and another locked door to the ad hoc foyer and rooms. The lift for luggage was a welcome sight on arrival. Breakfast provided was good. Very friendly hosts. We chose the large literary room which had plenty of space for 3 people.

A small bar fridge in the room for personal foods and medication would be a nice addition. Other than that we were happy with all other aspects of our room, the property and our stay. Thank you very much!

We stayed with two young children and everything was really good, Luca was very helpful and arranged transfer from the airport and taxi to our next destination when we left. Lovely breakfast on the rooftop terrace, great location and extremely sound proof rooms! We loved to hear the buzz of bars below but lif we closed balcony doors we could not hear a thing. Thanks for a great stay!

It's on the 4th floor without lift but we got help from owners.

Location of the property is perfect. All the key attractions are within walking distance. There are restaurants just opposite to the property but my room was still very quiet. If you are planning to visit other cities on Sicily, the central train and bus station is about 10 mins walk from the property. I got lost and the hotel owner came to pick me up and helped me with my luggage. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to start the day having breakfast on the rooftop. The couple managing the property were super nice, friendly. Although I don’t speak Italian but I can tell they are really trying to give me a friend fly and nice experience.
