Spacious room with a view of the Piazza, good breakfast, firm bed and comfortable pillows, fluffy and white towels, large sink with borders for cosmetics, double insulation windows, proximity to monuments and churches in historical centre. Helpful, efficient and friendly staff (alphabetical order): Julia – for providing useful highlights of interesting places to visit Luciano – for bringing my luggage to the car for the airport; Manuel – for briefing upon arrival and facilitating transport arrangements for very early departure to the airport and allowing me to use his personal mobile to call the service provider; Valentina – for being an excellent translator for the recipes provided by Rosi; Vicenzo – for kindly providing towels and extra pillows late in the evening; Rosi – for kindly providing 2 recipes and a breakfast pack for my early departure, and for the good service of the breakfast team; and Grosso and Lily – the kind and well-behaved dogs of the neighbors patiently waiting for their breakfast. Although the hotel is in a quiet area during the day, there were concerts in the restaurant across the hotel during the late evening. An inner room facing the courtyard albeit without a view will be more quiet at night.

From the outset the Best Western Team were fabulous. The team had arrange a taxi from the airport, however our flight was continually delayed. When we arrived they had arranged for the taxi to be there for us. The hotel was immaculately clean, each member of the team were so pleasant and helpful. We had two wonderful nights and slept like logs. The hotel location is excellent for getting around and a short walk to all the main attractions and train station, there are many great and reasonably priced restaurants and bars nearby with a great vibe to them. Let me tell you we have stayed in many hotels, however the breakfast was by far the best we have had. The selection and quality of the food was amazing as were the breakfast team. We had a great stay, from the wonderful reception team, cleaning team, breakfast chef and breakfast team, they all went out their way to make our stay a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I would have no hesitation to recommend the hotel, it was well managed and did more than expected, great value for money and should really be a five start hotel. Many thanks to you all.

Central location with 24-hour manned reception desk. Situated close to some great bars and restaurants. Walking distance to many main sites and to access local transport. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Clean, good-sized room with plenty of storage. Super walk in shower, quality of towels, and very comfortable bed.

Due to central locality near bars and restaurants, some noise from outside the hotel at night but that is to be expected.

The hotel is in a perfect location to walk to all the sights and restaurants in the historic center of Palermo. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a wide selection of traditional breakfast foods including Sicilian specialities.

There is a bar down the side street next to the hotel that can be loud late a night for those rooms facing that street.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal - close to everything we wanted to see but slightly off the beaten track so it was quiet. Safe area. Staff were, without exception, wonderful. They went above and beyond, always gracious and smiling. They gave us help choosing restaurants and even made reservations for us. They patiently helped me with my Italian, even though their English was perfect! Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, good closet and drawer space, good space for toiletries on the sink.

The floor of the shower was a little slippery.

The breakfast was a nice surprise. The location was perfect for seeing the sites and getting around by foot. The rooms and common areas were nice and clean. In general (with one exception), the staff were exceptionally welcoming and lovely.

It was a little noisy but I think that is what happens when you stay in the Kalsa district.

This is a classy boutique hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us, especially Marina. Really enjoyed staying here. Very central location for everything for restaurants, cafes and all the sights. In a lovely little square just off Via Roma. Easy walk to the train station and bus station. Lovely room, extremely comfortable bed and plenty of room to move around. Had everything we needed. Breakfast had so many options, we overindulged. Cereal, muesli, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, ham, cheese, eggs, fresh bread as well as all the amazing delightful Italian cakes which we tried to limit ourselves on. Staff made fresh espresso and cappuccino to order. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay again if we came back to Palermo.

I cannot find a single negative thing to say about the hotel: a taxi was arranged to bring us there from the airport and the driver was super-friendly pointing things out along the route. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, greeting us by name as we arrived. Our room was superb - huge and with a little terrace we could have used privately at another time of year. The bathroom was spacious and very well appointed. Fabulous "proper Italian" breakfast of sweet pastries and good strong coffee (although there were more "Northern" options available - cereal, cheese, eggs, ham) was served between 7 and 10. As you would expect from a property in Italy, the entire building was spotlessly clean Location was splendid; just a short walk to the very heart of the city but tucked away from traffic noise in a small piazza. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough and have already sent its details to several friends.

Nothing that was in the Hotel's power (it rained!)

The location is perfect, on a relatively quiet square but very close to all tourist attractions and many bars and restaurants. The service is very friendly, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable.

Pillows and mattresses could be more comfortable. But they were good enough. I have no other suggestions.

Great location with wonderful restaurants around. Easy to walk to destinations. Hotel was beautiful, clean and staff were wonderful. Hotel provides a breakfast that was fabulous, with such a variety. Staff helped with bus information to Mondello beach and train to airport along with restaurant suggestions. They were fantastic!!

A bit noisy at night since it is centrally located. Noise reducing earplug’s complimentary would have been great. Otherwise a perfect stay!
