The breakfast offers fruit, some pastries and more, all served by very friendly people. Unfortunately coffee is not up to Italian standards. The communication with the host went very well. The apartment is in a great location right at the edge of the pedestrian area of Palermo. The place is very large and super well maintained.
We were woken up more than once by some yelling people. A bit scary but it didn't last long and it may have been from unusual events around. This didn't spoil my sleep or the rest of the experience.

Francesca was a top hostess! The flat is a family business and lovingly furnished and totally suitable for guests! We had the largest room with the en-suite bathroom. The room is very large, with a spacious balcony overlooking the main shopping street. You have to take into account that the noise level is accordingly high as restaurants and bars are open until midnight in the evening. The room is very nicely furnished with the only drawback being the mattress. The breakfast is typical Italian, as such sweet :-) A savoury breakfast is also available. All in all, clean, centrally located and close to all the sights!

Great location near to everything you want to see and do in Palermo. Close enough to walk from the train station. Our room was huge and the decoration is very distinctive. Paolo was very responsive and helpful with pre-arrival info. We really appreciated being able to check in early as we’d come off a 18 hour flight. Paola’s mum and the other ladies who do the breakfast are adorable and friendly, very forgiving of our inability to speak Italian.
The wifi in our room was up and down. Sometimes excellent but then would go too slow to use for a while. We were there Friday, Saturday, Sunday night. Friday there was some street noise on and off until late but ok to sleep through. Saturday there was really loud music until 5am from a venue up the road, loud enough to ruin my sleep. Sunday night was quiet. So maybe it was one bad night, or maybe avoid weekends if you are a light sleeper. Also, not a problem for us but be aware it’s up a few flights of stairs so not suitable if you have significant mobility issues.

It was an old characterful, possibly 18th C, house at the edge of the Historical centre. Very useful for restaurants and the Cathedral and other visiting places. The family run B&B provides a fine choice of breakfast every morning and the hosts are very attentive and welcoming. The outside noise was expected and that didn’t bother us . Beautiful windows leading to a narrow balcony. But pleasant to stand on to watch the world go by and sit to have some coffee.
The bathroom in ‘Marta’ room. The inconvenient (very high edge) bathtub only with hand held shower. It always pooled water - and took a while to drain so unpleasant. The bed mattress was too soft and the perfumed plug ins? Very sorry, but nauseating. Personally, I would not want to stay here again.

This place has character. The ceiling of my room had an old fresco. There's lots of touches in this place. It's not fancy and yet it's memorable and comfortable. The room cleaning is thorough and though the place is not sleek it feels clean and cared for. The location is also great. It's on the tourist mainfare but in a good spot that puts you in position to explore the Kalsa and the Borgo Vecchio. The women who put on breakfast and received me in the morning were friendly and really patient with me as I pieced together my rudimentary italian.
I didn't like the remote check-in. It just felt a little impersonal and unwelcoming. The hotel room definitely gets a good amount of noise though it wasn't enough to keep me from sleeping. The shutters also don't really block out light. The breakfast was nice although a bit heavy on sweet things. Could have used some heartier bread or eggs.

Everything! The location was perfect-centrally located to everything we wanted. The property was exceptionally renovated with care, even exposing a fresco in our room. The family who owned the B&B took exceptional care of us and provided ample food for traditional Sicilian breakfast. We just loved our stay, and you will as well. Boom now and enjoy!
Nothing.

Clean, beautiful room in a 17th century building. Less than 200m to Quattro Canti square, about 400m from the Cathedral of Palermo, 100m from the Martorana church, surrounded by all the attractions, sites, restaurants and shops of the city. We couldn't have asked for more, and we didn't need anything else. The B&B is run by a friendly local family. We arrived late at night but received instructions for self check-in by Paolo in advance. In the morning, Francesca prepared breakfast for us. She also helped us with information throughout the stay.
Nothing significant to mention here. Some small details which are mostly a matter of taste and habit. The breakfast vas served between 9 and 10 which is a bit late for us. On excursion days we skipped it. Also, we had to wait several minutes for hot water in the shower to start running. Because of the central location the place is noisy at night but it didn't really bother us.

Qwerty and fun. Very Sicilian family home feel. Quiet and easy accommodation in a very lively but noisy area. Perfect location for visiting stunning sites, shopping, eating, drinking. Everything you could need in this lively city. Plenty of storage, towels comfortable.
I would like a kettle in the room. As a Brit we like tea and milk available. Communal fridge didn’t keep milk cold.

Awesome location although slightly tricky to find initially. Wonderful friendly staff. Incredibly well decorated with great attention to detail. Good breakfast, loved the fresh OJ. We really enjoyed the entire vibe of the building, our room, the shared eating area, the warmth of our hosts, definitely recommended.
No complaints.

Very clean, friendly staff, very convenient to all the major attractions and train station. The bed was comfortable, too!
It was very noisy because the balcony doors were made of metal and didn't really seal, but the noise did calm down by 12pm each night, so it worked out find.
