Very helpful friendly staff. Clean room with access to large shared terrace, which we had to ourselves most days. Excellent for enjoying the late afternoon sun and relaxing with a drink and a good book 😊 Small elevator up to the 4th floor with only a few steps up to the 5th floor for our room and access to the terrace.

We loved the terrace but... whilst we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay, if more guests had used it it may have been slightly offputting having them sit directly outside our patio doors and would have felt the need to shut the curtains more.

It was in a good location, just a short walk from the centre and the seafront. Also that it had secure parking which is difficult to find in towns.

We were surprised and disappointed to find that the private terrace we thought we had booked was actually a rooftop solarium that was available to all hotel guests. Our room actually opened onto this. We felt quite awkward about it. The management did offer to move us after the first night but it chucked it down for the remainder of the time we were there so we didn't bother moving. I would always check in future whether terraces were 'private' or not.

Lovely location and staff. Finishes are a bit dated, but the room was impeccably clean. New bed linen daily and plenty of clean towels. Comfortable room with A/C. Supermarket just across the street. Literally less than 10 minutes away from the beach and all the restaurants and bars. Walking distance from train station. Lovely terrace on last floor with beautiful panoramic views.

Hotel was a :15 walk from train station, and easy to find. With a fantastic grocery store directly across the street. Staff was very warm and welcoming and very helpful. The facilities overall were immaculate. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless clean and well laid out, although main sleeping area was quite small but it had a large entry/foyer with a pocket door separating it from the main room, which had, single or double fold down bunkbeds which is where I slept because my daughters shared the big bed in the main room. It would be absolutely perfect for a small family traveling with one or two kids! It had a small fridge which was helpful because we were making our own lunches and lots of power outlets and good lighting and an ice cold A/C but windows/shutters that could open out and blinds and curtains so we all got a very good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was just a continental breakfast, but was very much appreciated and the staff member who served that area was very friendly (she brought me a tray so that I could bring all of the breakfast items up to the room, for my daughters) and made a great latte! The staff at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful and friendly ( showed us how to get to the local free public beach, which was a long walk but worth it and made restaurant recommendations) and let us store our bags for two extra nights while we hiked the Cinque Terre, which was super helpful and then we were able to easily collect them three days later and get back on the train. And the rooftop patio is to die for! Highly highly highly recommend booking your stay here. Don’t keep looking around at other options, yes, it’s expensive but it’s worth it !

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel - very well located, 5 min walk to the pier. Has a terrace overlooking the town, the room was a decent size with a good bathroom. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly! The big supermarket is right across the street, 10 min walk to the train station! It’s a small modest hotel.

The only thing was a smell of cigarettes or something similar seemed like coming from a thick bed cover, which became better once i removed it

The customer service was 10/10 and everybody helped us really well. The hotel is near enough of everything. Me, my wife and two daughters had great time in Rapallo, and thanks to Hotel Stella, it was smooth and nice. Oh, the air condition was super. +31 celcius outside and humidity 78% it was extremely good to have a short breaks inside the hotel room.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, always ready to meet our needs. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the city center, allowing us to fully enjoy our vacation. Additionally, the private parking covered, secure and a large entrance right next to the hotel added peace of mind to our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Rapallo.

While we found the space for unloading our luggage upon arrival a bit limited, the hotel staff was quickly available to assist us with handling them. Their efficiency and friendliness made this minor inconvenience quickly forgotten.

Extremely good location, there is a supermarket situated just a stones throw away. Five minute walk into Rapallo city centre. Room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was nice. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and very helpful. Nice area at the top of the hotel to sunbathe and relax with breathtaking views

No kettle in the room for morning coffee

This was an excellent location for us as the conference venue was located across the road. We came with car so parking organized by the hotel - although expensive - was necessary and well organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially ladies that served breakfast, thank you. Also, there are grocery stores nearby which is also very convenient.

Our room faced the main street which is very, very noisy (even in Italian standard). This is probably OK during cold weather as the doors of the balcony are very well isolated. But when is hot, and you close the doors, and switch on the air condition, it is blowing directly on your head.
