The hotel location is amazing in the heart of Riva del Garda. Great and central location, with all the restaurants just a short walk away. It has a nice rooftop pool with an amazing view of the Gards Lake, but it is quite small. It was good that it was not too many people going for a swim. The hotel offers free bicycles to ride, which is great. The breakfast was good with plenty variety of different foods.

Didn't like that it was not possible to pre-book parking and which caused a hassle to find a new parking spot. The next day, it was offered to park in the nearby parking lot that is reserved for hotel which made things simpler. Would suggest contacting the hotel to get guarantees for parking if travelling by car. Parking itself is quite expensive if not offered by hotel.

The hotel was bright and clean. Staff were amazing and were friendly and professional. The pool was a bonus. The room was comfortable and had great views with a superb location with cafes right at the door step. Well soundproofed as there was the Fabia festival and with windows closed could easily sleep. Air conditioner was fine. Central place for seeing the sites and shopping. Highly recommended.

Everything was likeable, but I would suggest more variety at breakfast. The bar in reception could be manned during the night for a few hours. Also coffee and tea facilities in the room would be great. Otherwise I love this hotel and would surely come back.

Location is perfect for exploring central Riva and Lake Garda as a whole, as the harbour/ticket office is right outside the front door. Views from front facing hotel rooms are beautiful, only surpassed by hotels further around who would have an unobstructed view down the lake. Rooms were of a very generous size, and the bathroom had all the facilities you could want. Cleaning service was quite thorough and new towels were delivered daily. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with even sparkling wine available. Those who demand a traditional cooked breakfast will still be left wanting, as only bacon and scrambled egg was available. But this is not what you visit Italy for - the cold cuts, cheese and large spread of different cakes and pastries on offer were infinitely better. The free hiring of bicycles was appreciated to get around - as the clientele of the hotel seemed mainly on the mature side, I can't imagine there'd ever be a case where there were none available to hire (there must have been around 30 or 40 bikes). This is a great way to get around as there are cycle paths all the way to Torbole, although caution is advised as there are a lot of pedestrians and fast cyclists.

The air conditioning and controls in the room were quite basic. The room felt cool enough, but the analogue dial didn't go any colder. Some of my family used the rooftop pool, and it isn't heated so it was freezing cold even on a 30 degree day - this may be either a good or bad thing for you depending on preference. The staff could have been a little friendlier.

Lovely hotel right on the waters edge, location was fantastic. Large rooms, comfy beds, even a little fridge. Reception staff were great friendly and helpful.

Nothing really only if arriving by car it was tricky to understand where to park your car to check in. Once you check in they explain where to leave your car in a multi level car park which is very close to the hotel. I suggest calling ahead and reception staff will help.

Location was great - right on the harbour - really convenient to explore town. Free bike hire was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was great. Rooftop pool was good.

Our room was right at the front so a lot of noise from bars, boats and refuse collection early morning.

Lovely, very clean hotel in excellent location very close to the ferry terminal to explore the beautiful Lake Garda and the funicular ride to the Ascennsore Basttione restaurant with amazing views over the area . Our room was on the third floor with beautiful views over the lake and a large vibrant piazza, with numerous restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were air conditioned. Ensuite was a good size and well equipped. Excellent roof top area to relax with pool and sun beds available. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of food and beverages available in a beautiful room overlooking the lake. Recommend this hotel, have stayed there before and will stay again in the future.

The location is great as it’s an easy walk to everything the town has to offer. Breakfast offers a good selection and the terrace has a very nice view of the town. I wouldn’t recommend paying the extra for a town view as the balcony balustrade is quite high so when you’re seated on the balcony you can’t actually see most of the view. If you’re looking for extra space however it’s a good option. Everything is very clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location on the main Square. Ferry port right outside. Breakfast was continental and very good and restaurant positioned to overlook the lake and square. The hotel has a bike store. Room has a safe and a fridge and was very comfortable and clean. We had a balcony with two French doors with the best view. We would definitely rebook this hotel on our return.

Was not informed of a daily parking rate of €15, no problem with the price, just would have liked to be told. If you are paying for a lake view, bear in mind it may come with some noise overnight from the square although it did not disturb our sleep.

It would be unfair to criticise the hotel because it was everything we expected it to be. The only negative was that the staff did not inform us about how the Gira D’Italia would close all of the main roads out of Riva the morning of our departure. We were very nearly trapped in the carpark for 2-3 hours! Thankfully the police informed me I had less than 5 minutes to leave the carpark. This was such a stressful ending to a wonderful stay and did cause us a 1.5 hour detour avoiding the closed roads. We were in the area for a wedding so had not looked into local attractions and events.

After we sorted out our room and moved to a much nicer outlook we loved the hotel. It’s right on the town square and overlooking the lake.

First room they showed us was small so we upgraded and ended up with a lovely room overlooking lake. Some Staff were not very nice to us but thanks to some lovely restaurant staff we ended up enjoying our stay very much.
