A great location on the lakefront. Definitely premier location for staying at lake Garda. Breakfast was really outstanding. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. My room has a small set of stairs that probably challenge those with mobility issues. Shower was great.

Maybe a little better description of how exactly to get to the hotel to drop luggage. One must go through a pedestrian area to get there. We followed the directions and ultimately got to the square but then went left instead of across the square to the hotel. Probably my error, but maybe an upgrade to directions could avoid that,

We had the largest room with the hot tub so expected something special... and it was :) Looking out from the tub over Garda is really wonderful. Buffet in morning is REALLY good. The nearby walk up the old road along the side of Garda and inland to lake on right is spectacular. Make time to do it :)

It's expensive but good - not cheap and good :) You CAN drive your car right up to the hotel to drop bags, not just the nearby square, though local road signs don't make it clear. Sign the book in the hotel with Reg Number to avoid the threatened fine! Hotel can be hard to find because it's on a square not a road - dry run it on Streetview. Hotel's carpark if you do book a space is a long way from hotel. Geography's fault not theirs. It's very secure though - so we still recommend.

Clean, comfortable, safe, wonderful amenities with AC, jacuzzi, a small drink cooler, centrally located, and we loved the connection to the bike rental, use of the garage bike room with a charging station, laundry service, and the cafe was wonderful every morning. We were sad to leave!

There were no outlets near the bed and limited in the room though I understand that is likely more to do with the age of the building. Only a small inconvenience.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bellavista on Lake Garda, and I had a wonderful experience! The hotel was charming, and the location offered stunning views of the lake. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast. The only downside was the weather, which didn’t quite cooperate during my visit. However, this didn't diminish my overall experience at the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. I highly recommend Hotel Bellavista for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Garda. I can't wait to return for another visit, hopefully with better weather!

The location was excellent, right on the water and in the midst of all the restaurants, cafes and shops - just what we needed after spending a few days at a remote farmhouse. Generous breakfast with lots of options. The room was spacious and clean, with a great shower. Air conditioned too - thank goodness as it was 100 degrees when we were there. Good value, I definitely recommend. I'll also put in a word for the burger/panini kiosk outside. Extremely delicious snd generous paninis to be had there, from a very friendly proprietor.

Parking was 15 euros a day. It was convenient but I would have liked to know that before booking. Definitely recommend you take the parking as it's not easy to find otherwise. Also, our room has a kitchen attached but that was also 15 per day, snd again I woukd have preferred to know about that option when booking.

Oh my goodness, I think this is the best location in Riva, or certainly has to be one of the best. We booked this for a night at very short notice, after a train strike cancelled our trip to Verona and we just hopped on a bus to Riva del Garda. When we opened the internal doors to outside, the view completely blew us away. As soon as we went to check in and saw the location we asked if we could stay a second night and they were able to accommodate us. We booked one of the rooms with its own hot tub and which benefits from direct access to the hotel’s sun terrace, which we took full advantage of. The room is over 2 levels, with the bathroom on the lower. The top level has a large double (maybe King size??), which was very comfortable, a table and chairs, mini bar, safe, kettle and there is plenty of storage over the 2 levels. Internal wooden shutter doors means you can block the light out at night and we really slept well. We don’t tend to eat much for Breakfast as a rule but it was fine - self service coffee machines, plenty of cereal option, breads, hot food, continental breakfast and there was a huge selection of sweet options including cakes, macarons, and even chocolates. Again, it’s such a lovely position to sit outside and just take in the view.

It’s not fair to ask this question as technically there isn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. If you prefer modern and contemporary then it won’t be for you. It’s got that old Italian charm but it was spotlessly clean (I particularly loved the tiles in the shower). The sleeping area is fairly compact and one of us had to sleep against the wall. The mini bar is positioned just over the table and chairs and I hit my head off it’s quite sharp corner. However, the position and the view made any of these niggly points pale into insignificance. Would we stay there again? We definitely would!

The property has a lot of character and all the staff I encountered were very friendly. I had a room with a balcony and it was Heavenly. No mosquitoes and very lovely to sit there with a book or a drink and enjoy the view.

I enjoyed everything. My particular room had a tub only, but I loved it.

We had such a pleasant stay! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Our room and balcony were beautiful with a breathtaking view to the lake! Loved all the pretty colors and details in the room and all over the hotel. We will be back definitely <3

Nothing negative to say.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff is very kind and the breakfast is delicious. My room was upgraded depending on availability and it was a great surprise for me. The little gifts at the end of my stay were also a very thoughtful.

Especially the toilet hygiene was poor. A stained toilet paper roll was placed in the toilet on the second day of my stay.

Perfect location. Super clean. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Great choice!

Our room had a sloping ceiling in the bathroom. We are not tall so it did not bother us. Over 6 ft may have been an issue.
