My strongest reccomendation for Garda Lake !!! Located 20 minutes from historical center of Riva de Garda. So - not noisy but not far from the center. Inside the hotel, in the garden You do not see other buildings. Great, comfortable room, beds and bathroom. Perfect air condition. Nice view (mountains). Wonderful breakfast with pancakes, omlettes, fried eggs, fresh fruits, etc etc etc. One of the best I've ever had ! Nice smimming pool with little people. Also very good evening bar with lots of great drinks for normal prices. For this hotel it is very important that is does not have many rooms - that's why You feel really comfortable with so many facilities. Friendly and helpfull staff. Parking - OK. My stay around Garda Lake was great also because of this hotel - I will reccomend this place for all my friends - THANK YOU :)

Food at the pool bar (pizza) was not my favorite :(

We really liked the hotel. It has its own cozy, beautiful, and fairly large park area, which made the surroundings feel peaceful and relaxing. I appreciated that the pool area is located a short walk away from the rooms, offering a quiet atmosphere near the accommodation. I also liked that the hotel has an indoor pool. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool is not heated, which was a bit of a disappointment. During our stay, the air temperature was 32°C, but the water in the pool was only 20°C, which felt too cold to enjoy comfortably. One of the highlights for me was that the hotel has play areas for young children, both indoors and outdoors — perfect for families. It would have been nice if the hotel also had a gym, as that’s something we usually look for. The hotel is located about 1 km from Lake Garda, as well as from the main shops and restaurants. For us, it was a short and pleasant walk. Although the hotel is situated between two roads, we didn’t hear any extra noise at all. Thanks to the hotel’s own green garden surrounding the property, it didn’t feel like it was near any roads — it felt very peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious — nothing overly luxurious, but very functional and equipped with everything we needed. The air conditioning was excellent — the temperature in the room was always comfortable, and the unit operated quietly without blowing too strongly. It made the stay even more relaxing. Housekeeping was also excellent, and I appreciated the generous selection of towels. All public areas, including the lobby and dining area, were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. The selection was impressive, with freshly squeezed juices, made-to-order pancakes, omelettes, eggs, and more. Everything was fresh and delicious. The breakfast staff were attentive and ensured everything was well stocked. The staff in general were friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.I would definitely return.

It was our first stay in this hotel and originally it wasn't our first choice. But we got to know a hotel with very super friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast buffet and also a very good evening menu in the restaurant, albeit a little too playful. We weren't able to use and experience everything the hotel has to offer during our stay, but what we can say is that we would love to come back and are really looking forward to it. The hotel convinced us and although we were a little skeptical at first, we think we'll be impressed again next time. Great and very hard-working staff, a big thank you from us.

What we didn't like was the behavior of many German holidaymakers from Germany. In a foreign country, as in Italy, you should be able to speak at least the basic words in Italian, such as good morning or please and thank you. If it's just about beer and pork knuckle, these people should stay at home. Italy should not become Mallorca. In this context, we have the greatest admiration for the hotel staff, but also sympathy and condolences. In addition, the minimum price for a pizza with pineapple topping should be one hundred euros, worldwide, thx. PS: Fortunately, however, there is still an unimaginable amount to discover around Lake Garda, not only just German cyclists hanging off your exhaust pipe.

Before (by e-mail) and upon arrival (frontdesk) the staff was very friendly. Anna - from Ukraine))) - and her colleague at that day, sorry I forgot her name, welcomed us very friendly and warmly. The room was nice and the breakfast had more options to choose from than one would expect. From multiple cereals with different kinds of milk, bread and pastry, to fresh juice and selfmade (by yourself) smoothies to Prosecco. And of course lets not forget about the omelettes and crêpes The swimming pool area (with towel service) is nice and clean and despite that the hotel stays between (besides) two roads you hardly hear any traffic. The city centre is a 10 min. walk. Conclusion: Would we come back to this hotel? Yes, for sure.

We liked all. If we really need to point out one thing: The airconditioning opened automatically (after some time) once closed. But maybe we just did not understand how it worked exactly.

While i was on the way to the resort i received an email from the hotel that due to technical problems they had to put me into a room without balcony as i ordered. After a 5 hour drive this was not the message i wanted to receive. Nevertheless the staff handled everything with utmost politness finding in the end a solution that worked for all of us. Extremely service minded and patient they put the customers at the center. Great experience regardless of the mix up. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time visiting La Garda, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The customer service and staff was great. The facilities was very clean. And the breakfast was truly 10/10 with so much variety and quality food. The staff was consistently attentive any accommodations during our entire few weeks traveling in Italy. Further, on the day of checkout, we unfortunately left our wallet behind. When we realized, in a panic we called the Resort, and immediately they mobilize to go to the room to look for it for us, they took our loss seriously and made genuine effort to help us. They called us within the hour to inform us they have located it. And because it was a weekend, they needed till weekday to find shipping method so they can send it to us. I was worried they would forget about this and not get back to us, however they did not forget and reached out to let us know they will ship it right away. We are extremely grateful for attentiveness and extremely high level of customer service. Preparing nice room is one thing, but helping us in moment of trouble is above and beyond. Thank you @staff for your kindness to helping us. We are from abroad, and have travel in many places, Astoria Resort has been one of the best experiences for us and we hope we will have good fortune to visit again.

We found out too late on check out day the that the resort can offer guest pass for the area to visit and engage in many attractions. Definitely ask about this, the staff will be happy to help.

Been to riva del Garda 4 years in a row and this hotel was the best we’ve been to so far. Wonderful pool area and lots of big green spaces which is unusual for a tourist area. Breakfast was worthy of a 5-star resort without a doubt, it was excellent! Will definitely come back.

It’s a 20 minute walk to the marina but there’s bikes you can borrow but well worth it considering the hotel was excellent. In the “old” rooms the ac was a bit noisy but it kept it cool. A bit pricey but ok considering the standard.

The grounds were beautiful and very upkept. The breakfast was remarkable as was the restaurant staff. The best breakfast we've experienced in Europe. The beds were extremley comfortable, the room was fully equipped with all the necessary ammenities. We loved the basket of apples next to the elevators, that was such a wonderful touch! Overall, our Astoria resort hotel experience was terrific. We would come back and recommend to others!

The bathroom shower is practically obsolete. There is a tub, which we never use at a hotel. We didn't mind the bathtub the issue was if you wanted to take a shower there was a small glass partition which was not practical and water splashed all over the floor. Moreover, there was a beautiful and spacious balcony with a great view. We would've prefered a privacy wall between the rooms. Simply put, lovely balcony that we didn't utilize because we didn't want to awkwardly sit with other guests.

The breakfast was out of this world, everything you could imagine up for grabs! We booked just a double room, so the space was a little tight but as expected. The pool was amazing, great pizza and service at the pool bar, and you could move a sun lounge onto the grassed area away from the children for some peace and quiet if you preferred.

So great that we were able to park our car! However, there was no allocated spot for each room, meaning it's a free for all. We had to park on their driveway a few times and on the street (although this was the peak of August).

The hotel is really nice, breakfast amazing and staff really nice

We had one bed for me and my wife and another one for our son. The mettress our bed was very hard and uncomfortable and not good to sleep on. The mattress on our sons bed was perfect though. Mynpsrents in lae stayed also at the hotel and hat a good mattress. So I guess its just based on luck if you get a soft and good mattress or uncomfortable one
