The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, right by Lake Garda, with many dining options nearby. The hotel is very clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and has a good-sized bed. The wellness area is excellent, featuring a sauna, hot tub, and salt room (one downside is that you can only access it by appointment, which needs to be booked in advance). The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was abundant with a wide variety of options.

The only downside is that the wellness area is only available by appointment (however, this ensures that there is no overcrowding).

The furniture in the room is a bit outdated. The biggest problem is the fact that if you choose to have your breakfast on the terrace (which should be enjoyable during summer) you will be sitting next to trash cans which are being emptied several times by different trucks. I don't think that's a view any tourist likes to see while having a breakfast.

Our brief stay at Hotel Portici - Romantik & Wellness was highlighted by its prime location and comfortable rooms. The hotel, ideally situated in Riva del Garda's bustling square just steps away from the lake, provided us with a convenient base to explore the area. Our room boasted a contemporary design and was well-equipped with amenities like air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. The private bathroom and small fridge added to our comfort during our short stay. Although we only had one night, we appreciated the proximity to the harbor for boat trips and the beach. The historic charm of the surrounding area, with its boutiques and winding streets, added to the overall appeal. While we found the breakfast satisfactory, we wished for a bit more variety. In summary, Hotel Portici's unbeatable location and cozy room made our short stay enjoyable, providing us with a comfortable and convenient haven during our time in Riva del Garda.

Location was great, Breakfast was very good.

Parking. I reserved parking but it is almost impossible to get to the hotel because of ATL Zone and streets full. I had to pay $41.00 dollars for parking in a lot a half mile away. No offer of paying my ticket. I only picked this hotel because of on-site parking.

The spa. Its a lovely spa with an amazing jacuzzi, which I never wanted to leave! It had a few saunas plus salt room/bath. It was definitely the best spa Ive been to. The room was lovely. I had a junior suite. It had great blackout curtains. I never wanted to get up. Only thing being right in the centre of town, there is some noise from outside late at night. The breakfast was really good, a whole lot of choice and great coffee! All in all it was the best hotel I stayed in, in Riva. It has a pizzeria and bar, which I did not even try. It was only a fleeting visit. The staff were all lovely. I will definitely go back! :)

The location of the hotel is simply perfect. The breakfast is also very excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy.

What we didnt like was that we took our 3 year old kid with us and wanted to use the jacuzzi and our 3 year old was not permitted in the spa area so we ended up not being able to use the spa at all. The parking is not with the hotel and costa 10euro daily to park rather than complimentary.

Location at the square in the centre is unbeatable. Well organized parking option which is vital in the town like Riva del Garda. Breakfast is good enough with sufficient selection of options.

The city and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The location in the harbour is perfect and the personell is just exceptionally; friendly, helpful, always smiling. The cleaning personnel was also so good, the rooms were always spotless. Secure bicycle parking and close-by car parking. So many restaurants in the city that it was sometimes difficult to select, Swimming in Lake Garda was warm and nice. This is an eldorado for sailing, windsurfing, kiting and cycling in the mountains, along the beach or along the river. Tracks for whole family. My morning climb up the mountain on my MTB was nothing more then spectacular and hard :-) We love Italy, but we fell in love with this place. Arrivederci Portici and Riva del Garda
