Art Atelier Borgo is an exceptional accommodation in the heart of Rome. Its location is perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican, as well as close to notable landmarks such as Castel Sant'Angelo and Ottaviano metro station. The owner, Matteo, is especially welcoming and helpful. He provides detailed recommendations on where to eat and what to see in the city, making the guests’ stay even more enjoyable. Mateo gave excellent recommendations for restaurants to visit, and they were absolutely outstanding! The room was perfectly arranged, clean, and comfortable. The beds were ideal—very cozy and provided a great night's sleep. There was also a mini-bar. Everything was neat and well-organized, making the stay even more enjoyable The atmosphere here is cozy and elegant, blending Rome’s historical charm with modern comforts. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel truly welcome. Matteo’s attention to detail and genuine desire to help make the stay even more unforgettable. There was absolutely nothing to dislike! Everything was perfect—from the hospitality and location to the comfort and atmosphere. Definitely a place I would love to return to!

The two best parts of our stay at Art Atelier Borgo were the location and the host! Matteo was extremely helpful and considerate, offering useful suggestions and advice right from the start. Everyone was nice and helpful and the breakfast was an added bonus that made everything easier. The location is perfect, within walking distance from St Peter's Square and very close to the historic centre. The neighbourhood is lovely and vibrant, serviced by many buses and close to a metro station. The room was clean and warm, the bathroom was spacious and new.

The only problem was the humidity that caused the room to smell a little. The fact that there was an elevator was a plus, though it was understandably small since the building is very old.

The breakfast is minimal - hard to accept for a stay longer than one day. On the second day, we went to the closest Restaurant for a nice sandwich and coffee. You are ordering black tea; you receive black coffee. Worth underlining, that there is an option to left a luggage before checking in or after check out. At the end I was asked to pay a second time, but fortunately, after asking to verify everything finished well. Excellent location nearby Vaticano and in walking distance of most important locations.

Quality of the breakfast. Quality of the coffee. This kind of breakfast shouldn't be advertised in the location as "included".

Everything was great during our stay. The apartment is located very close to the Vatican and the Castel Sant Angelo. It is very close to central roads from where you can take the bus. Also close to the riverside to have a nice walk during day time and also in the evening. The area has many options for food and drinks. The rooms were always clean and thoroughly cared for. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, as well as Matteo, who was very friendly and caring for his guests. If you ask him for recommendations nearby to eat or drink, he is more than happy to help. Very great understanding of hospitality. Strongly recommended

The location is very convenient for visiting Vatican city and St.Angelo. It's only 20 min to Piazza Navona as well. Metro Octaviano is just in 5-7 min.walk. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The owner/staff were really friendly and gave us useful recommendations.

It was noisy. No sound proof at all. You can hear not only children crying in the room next to yours, but also all the people who come to the property, use microwave on the kitchen and so on. Somehow, I was expecting more privacy as the room had 'de luxe' in its name.

Perfectly clean, cosy apartment in the very center of Rome, in walking distance to the main attractions of the city: the Vatican is literally 5 minutes walk, to the Trevi Fountain half an hour walk. The host Matteo was very welcoming and courteous, was always in touch from the moment we booked. We were also very pleased with the breakfast which was a delicious cappuccino, hot croissant and freshly made toast with ham and cheese. Everything was great, we will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Rome.

The room was perfect! It was very comfortable. Remarkable is the light the bath room. With some wellness spa music it almost feels like a spa hotel. The staff was very kind and always ready to help. I received very good advices on what to explore in Rome and where to find the best Cabonara. Furthermore, Matteo asked me to text or call him in any case of questions or problems. It was a perfect service and I really enjoyed my stay there. The breakfast was delicious, no large buffet, but very lovely service and enough for me. It was served in the small and cosy room between the guest rooms.

One very small comment: I would love it, if there was a toilet roll holder. But this is really the only thing I can imagine to write here ;)

All the employees are very polite and nice. We had a situation where our flight was delayed for 3 hours and we had to arrive after the specified check-in time. They told us everything about how to get there and check in on our own. In the morning, breakfast was waiting for us. The room is spacious and clean. There is a safe in the room. You can take drinking water with you to the city. I recommend it to everyone

First of all, the owner was very nice and kind to talk to! He did everything to help us: gave us a map, told about nearby restaurants and interesting places to go, helped with our luggage!!!!!, got us a taxi, and arranged an early check-in! The room was clean, there were towels and toiletries for everyone, and the owner provided delicious breakfast! Air conditioning was working perfectly! Considering the location (7 min walk to Vatican) I think the price was also a steal!! And even though it's close to Vatican, it seemed to be very calm and quiet area. I definitely recommend this place!!!! I would love to stay there again!

The location was perfect. The breakfast was also very good. Matteo was very communicative and insightful. He recommended restaurants to us and even gave us discounts for some. Also he gave us a bottle of wine for our last night which was very surprising and very sweet. He also agreed to extending our stay for a couple of hours which was very helpful. 10/10 would recommend and visit again.
