The BB is very well situated - close to the metro San Giovanni station, but you can easily walk everywhere, the coloseum was like 20 minutes. Gabriela, the host, was very friendly and gave us good tips. The room had a perfect view, was very clean and the bed was quiet comfy.

Be careful and really read the instructions very well, because the check-in is till 19pm, and I didnt read it and our flight was delayed. At night, or early morning hours, the sound of water pipes, or something like this, woke us up and it ws impossible to sleep wtihout ear plugs.

The facilities are clean. The hostess, Gabriella, is incredibly helpful and sweet. The location is about a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum, and another 15 to central Rome. We also recommend the little cafe around the corner called Foodie.

These are accommodations that are basic--clean room with a door that locks. Anything extra like air conditioning costs money. I would recommend this place if you are visiting for a few nights and just want a safe place to lay your head at night.

A great and clean place to stay in a great location. 20 minutes walk to the colosseum and a metro station right outside the B&B allows for easy transport around the city. The host of the B&B was lovely and was very friendly and helpful.

Only issue was the charge for air conditioning which was 10 euro a night which we didn’t know about however this would not put us off booking this place again.

Excellent location! We were fortunate that the view from our window and balcony was directly overlooking the Lateran. The B&B itself in a pleasant area, lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. To the Colosseum about 15 minutes walk, and the metro literally a minute walk from the building. All in all, for the few days we spent in Rome, we actually walked all the time thanks to this location. The room is spacious and comfortable, large bed, wardrobes, desk, fridge, hairdryer in the bathroom, there was also shower gel and shampoo. We were there at the beginning of March, but the room was very warm (there is a heater). The place was clean, neat, the room was cleaned every day. Overall a very successful stay, we would love to go back there next time :)

Lovely hostess, happy to share with you information about Rome. The room is close to the metro. Also easy to reach the center and attractions on foot. Beautiful view from the window. The rooms are large and spacious. The bathroom was separate, but only we used it. Cleaning was every day. Near the reception you could use a kettle, there was tea and capsule coffee machine (capsules paid), there were also plastic cups (not very convenient for hot drinks).

We were in March, it was a little cold in the room.

B&B Bel Ami is located in a more quiet part of Rome, just outside the touristic mayhem. It is about 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum, from where most of the top attractions are within walking distance. The B&B is simple but clean and the owner is very friendly and helpfully. Bel Ami is located on the 5th floor, but reachable by elevator. Metro within 500 meters, taxi about 1 km. Termini station is 2 stops with metro. Bakery and small restaurant just around the corner

Everything was amazing, starting with Gabriela! Quiet, clean and good smelling place, close to Termini Station, Coloseum and not only. Lots of great restaurants with tasty food nearby the place. Gabriela is very friendly and helpful, truly a wonderful host! Excellent apartment location, within walking distance to a few major attractions (e.g. San Giovanni Basilica, Colosseum and Roman Forum) also very close to the subway station. Our room was very clean and had a great view of San Giovanni Basilica. We enjoyed very much our stay.

Great location, right next to the subway, a pharmacy, a coffee shop. The room had good space and a beautiful balcony with a great view. We only came to sleep, so location was the most important to us.

The room included a little fridge but it wasn't working. The furniture was a little old and the room smelled weird when we first arrived so we had to ventilate.

This place was amazing! The localisation was perfect, we went everywhere by foot and we got the chance to see less touristic side of the city The host was very helpful and nice, she made us feel at home!
